No words escaped your mouth, the same gray expression still plastered on your face. Shifting your entire body towards the officer, you nod your head and compile. Your commanding officer swiftly walked in the direction of the two large golden doors, magic forms at the tip of his horn as the two doors are enveloped in a white aura. The golden doors slowly open with a loud chime before closing behind the irritated pony. You gaze back at the beautiful scenery outside the large windows behind you before marching up the castle stairs with a stern look. The clatter of armor was in the same toon as before while you ascended the steps.

You briefly inhale the stale air around, recuperating what stamina you lost during the long hike. The castle was a maze. For a random pony who had no experience walking the halls of canterlot castle, they would be lost within a day, but for a trained soldier such as yourself. It was nothing more than a walk in the middle of canterlot square. You faced the east side of the castle and stare at the closed opening that revealed itself.

Standing tall and intimidation, more so than the large golden monstrosities near the gardens level, was a purple door with silver text which read “Shining’s Office” engraved in the flat gold price that hung above the entrance. You could feel the tension building inside. “the point of no return” some guards would announce when passing the captions office. You remove your helmet as a sign of respect and hold it close to your side. Taking in a deep breath, you exhale out your nostrils before twisting the gold handle on the door.

Behind the door was a large white stallion with a blue mane and a purple shield for a cutie mark. He sat in a small chair, signing off papers that were piled on his desk. You place one hoof in front of you and enter the captain's room. Pictures of what appeared to be the newly deemed princess as a foul decorated the walls. She did not have wings? Only a horn? The shelves were piled with old books and standing frames.

The captain of the royal guards notices your presence, he placed the quill in his magical grip down on the table. He cross his hooves.

“Hello Privet!” He said in a jovous tone. “Please. Sit.” He pointed with his hoof at the seat next to you.
