Finally home. After dancing, singing, and laughing at the Galla, it's good to finally be home alone, you thought. So many thoughts and good moments aren't for everyday, and you remind yourself, as you close the front door behind you, that that is probably for the best, since special moments wouldn't be special if it happened every day. But that's just a theory, you add to your line of thought. You fell your body getting heavy as you lock the door. And comfort yourself with going to bed. Though it's quite a long way up all those stairs, you remind yourself. As you take the first step on your journey to sleepy land, you remember that you should slow down with the punch bowl. But just like last time, it's always after the party you remind yourself of it. You can feel a tired but still nice smile form on your face. How much longer till i get to the stair, you think. And how many steps were there again? You can't seem to recall. Now when you think about it, you are pretty certain that you actually never counted those steps. But how many can there be, you think, 14? 16 maybe? As you do the limited math you are capable of in your state of mind you fell your body getting even heavier. You take a slow but yet determined look around you, not exactly knowing for what. You scan the room, and coincidentally look out the window and see the big bright moon on the night sky. You never thought of it before, but it almost looks weird to you. The deep thought that one of the princesses had been trapped inside for hundreds of years makes you uneasy, and you quickly decide to look at something else, before the reminder of the evil in the world gets to your head. You stare around some more and get your eye on a big brown wood cut clock, with metal parts and gears in the middle. You don't exactly remember it that well, but there's so many things in this house you don't remember, so it's no problem that you can't recall it. Something you do remember is the big red sofa, you inherited it from dad when he passed away, and it's been serving nicely here since then. That was what you subconsciously was looking for. An alternative sleeping space. You slowly walk to the sofa and notice the neatly packed blankets on top of the armrests. You jump into the sofa, as quickly as you can in your half drunken half sleeping state. And wrap a blanket over you. You let out a big Yawn, as you snuggle yourself into place, and listen to the soothing tune of the wood clock ticking, and then you close your eyes...
