The Rule Of Six

The six friends stood in a circle, each had their armor and weapons ready.

"Alright, so the orders are to cut down any guards that attack us, spare civilians, and take Ponyville by the end of the day." Storm said.

"Ok, so how the fuck do we get past the barricades?" Hail asked.

"Celestia and Luna are very powerful. they'll take care of any barricades or walls. I want to see you all at the end of this, So no dying!" Storm said, hugging them.

"Damn Storm, I really wanted to try death!" Blue said, laughing. The group broke the circle and walked out to their parts of the armies. Storm and Hail raised their swords, the ponies all cheered and charged, Celestia and Luna flying above them blowing up the barricade. Storm was one of the first rebels through, using a spell to blow-up a guard that had a crossbow aimed for him. The guard's blood made a pink mist in the air and Storm took his sword and slashed a guard in half, blood spraying into the air. he looked along the front line as other ponies were stabbing and cutting down the guards. A pony ran in front of Storm and towards a guard. The guard raised a spear, impaling the pony on it, blood leaked onto the guard as he flung the spear to the side, throwing entrails and blood across the line of ponies that were charging.

"Bastard!" Storm shouting, running at him and jumping over the spear, cutting of the guard's head.

Aires and Blue were flying high speed at the cloudsdale battlements. Several pegasi were impaled on spears that the guards held in preparation. Blood and entrails rained down onto the battle below, Aires was stabbing and slashing at several guards, Blue was defending a wounded rebel on a cloud. The battle didn't last long, the sheer number of pegasi against the guards was overwhelming to the power of ten. Blue regrouped with Aires and the other pegasi. Blue smiled, about to hug Aires as he heard a panicked pony yell 'Commander Aires!' and an arrow slammed into  Aires' side. Blue screamed and ran to catch his falling love as the pegasi killed the attacking guard.

Rex was making his attack from a distance, commanding a squad of catapults. They took down defensive towers  around the town.

He smiled as the last tower fell and the Earth ponies cheered.

"Alright boys, let's go kick some ass!" But before he could join his troops, Blue flew down, holding Aires in arms.

"MEDIC!" Rex barked, running to them. Aires wasn't moving and Blue was crying.

"Please, Save him Rex...... Help him....." Rex looked at his friends and moved a hoof to the arrow. He pulled it out and Aires yelped. Rex got his sword heated up and slowly cauterized the wound. Aires was still and not breathing. Blue shook him, tears falling down onto the wounded pegasus's face.

"Wake up, please Aires, wake up!" He shouted, shaking and hugging Aires close. Rex sighed and put a hoof on Blue's shoulder.

"Blue, he's gone..." Blue's sobs increased in volume upon hearing this.

Storm panted as he faced down General Blood.

"Get out of my way!" Storm shouted at him. Blood shook his head.

"No brother, I will not." Blood drew his sword and ran at Storm. Storm lept up, dragging his blade across Blood's back.

"Damn you Nathan! Damn you for making me do this!" Storm shouted, tears falling down his cheeks.

"M-My name........... Is............ Blood......." Blood said, falling over and dying. Thus, Ponyville and Cloudsdale were liberated... but at what cost?
