Midnight Frost has been brought up as a rich and sociable pony in Canterlot's highest social circles. Therefore it is expected of him to be sociable and make important and rich "friends" to help out his own and his parents relations, but he isn't social at all, and her rather enjoys a good book about magic. He decides to leave Canterlot for Ponyville, to find his own way of life.
