Epilogue 1: Everlasting Love

***Part 1: Farewell, Chief***

Sunset Shimmer's awakening did not go without its objections. Sunset felt sore from the sexual beating she took the night before. She wanted nothing to do with the new day. She only wanted to stay in bed with her lover, Applejack, until the discomfort had passed.

"Ya' gotta get up, Sunset." Applejack told her. "We all gotta go back to school tomorrow, and that means it's time for y'all to scamper home."

Sunset rolled over onto her side. She tried to block out Applejack's words by covering her ears with a pillow, but Applejack was above the childish display. She tore the pillow away and jumped onto Sunset, knocking the wind out of her.

"You're gonna get up now, ya' hear?" Applejack whispered into her ear. "Chief is real sad to see ya' go. The least you could do is... say goodbye."

Applejack's final words got Sunset's attention. She truly loved Chief. Maybe, she loved him just as much as she loved Applejack. Sunset sat upright. Applejack smiled and offered her a glass of water. After drinking the beverage offered to her, Sunset could now think with a new clarity. No thoughts of sexual intercourse plagued her mind. No visions of horny stallions and naked cowgirls soaked her girlhood. Her heat had been satisfied in full by Chief and Applejack. What a weekend it had been.

"Thank you, Applejack..." Sunset said to her before she finished the last of the water.

"Oh, think nothin' of it, Sunset. I can get ya' some more tap if ya' need it."

Sunset Shimmer shook her head as she put the glass down on the night stand.

"No, Applejack. I wasn't talking about the water..." Sunset breathed heavily as she stood up from the bed. "I meant to thank you for... for everything. Without you and Chief, my mind would have corrupted until... Well, you thought my demon form was bad. Sexual heat is dangerous for mares in Equestria. It's important for mares to have recreational sex at least once a year to keep themselves under control."

"I understand, Sunset..." Applejack replied with a loving embrace. "I'm glad to have been able to help..."

The two girls walked together down the corridor, through the homestead, across the pasture, and into the stable. Most of the horses continued to sleep, ignoring the arrival of Sunset and Applejack. Chief waited eagerly for them in his pen. His ears perked up as he watched Sunset approach. Sunset smiled as she walked towards him. Chief nickered excitedly, greeting both girls.

"That's his way of wishin' ya' a good mornin'." Applejack told her.

Sunset didn't need a translation. She understood Chief's every word. She could feel that he held strong feelings for her. Sunset caressed his cheeks with her hands shortly before pulling the stallion's muzzle into a passionate kiss. Applejack watched on from the side. Tears swelled in her eyes. Sunset finished the kiss with a gentle 'peck' on Chief's snout.

"Until we meet again, Chief..." Sunset whispered. "I'll never, ever forget about you."

"I recon he won't be forgettin' 'bout ya' neither." Applejack said cheerily. "Come on, Sunny. We have a bus to catch."

Applejack pulled Sunset into a quick kiss. Sunset yelped as the cowgirl spanked her rear. Applejack then laughed hysterically as Sunset pursued her all the way down the dirt path.
