As Joe snapped his eyes open he noticed he was sitting, in a car… in a forest, that was moving quickly by.

“What the…?” he asked as he shot open his eyes.

“Hey, you awake?” asked… Sam? was he in the Impala?

“No, I’m sleeping like Snow White, jackass.” Said Joe as he sat up properly.

“Well, I ain’t kissin’ ya.” Said Dean.

“How do you even know what Snow White is?” asked Sam.

“What? I’ve seen an… interpretation…” said Dean, avoiding something.

“Dude, I don’t wanna-” started Sam.

“Now that was ‘white’ Sammy.” Said Dean with a sigh of remembrance.

“So anyway, you ok?” asked Sam.

“Peachy.” Replied Joe, he looked out the window to see a forest, yes, but not the one he lived in, it looked remarkably… colourful, like a drawing.

“Any ideas where we are?” asked Joe.

“Narnia.” Replied Dean.

“Funny, how was Hell, Narnia-like?” asked Joe.

"Touche." replied Dean.

“How do you-” started Sam.

“Oh, please, I’m nothing if not well informed, and well informed if nothing else.” Said Joe.

“Fair enough, and hell was nice, could use some new decor.” Said Dean sarcastically.

"Yeah." replied Joe cryptically.

Eventually they came across a barn, and apple trees, a loooot of trees… as far as the eye could see.

“Park Baby in there, we go on foot, I’d prefer to know we have enough gas to reach civilisation than run out on an empty road with miles to walk.” Said Joe, Dean looked at him skeptically and Sam nodded as if to say ‘sorry Dean, he has a point’

“Ok then.” Said Dean and pulled into the barn, realising he was outnumbered.

They got out and searched the barn, finding some lamps and such, and they found quite a few apples.

“Ok, we’re taking a duffel bag each, got it?” asked Dean.

“Sure.” Said Joe, Dean threw him the bag full of weapons, as in guns, ammo and silver bullets, and Sam had Demon fighting stuff and dead mans blood and Dean had enough rock salt and spray cans to seal up an entire castle against ghosts and demons.

He surrounded Baby and the barn windows and doors with salt and spray painted devil traps everywhere.

He saw Sam and Joe taking in the surroundings.

“Hey, nature boys lets move.” Said Dean and started walking.

“Got it.” Said Joe and they followed Dean through a forest.

“So, get this, the place where you were-” started Sam as he was reading while walking.

“Was a place where an ancient magic was buried, a magic that was released.” Said Joe as they walked.

"You knew?" asked Sam.

"Of course I did, that's why I lived there in the first place." he said.

"Got a gun?" asked Dean.

Joe held up a cool Colt 1911.

"Nice gun." said Sam.

"Thanks, had it custom made, it takes 10mm rounds, God bless the second amendment ." he said and holstered it.

"Agreed... well, we're not gettin' any younger, lets go." said Dean and they truly started their trek.

They walked for a while, before stopping and drinking water from a stream, they were keeping on a road wide enough for the car.

"Hmm, fresh." said Joe and they kept going, eventually they came across smokestacks in the far distance.

"Smoke, and smoke means..." started Sam.

"Life, and life means..." said Joe.

"People." finished Dean and they kept moving.

"Hey guys, this way looks clearer for the car." said Dean and gestured left, into what looked like a whole other world.

"Hmm, less dense but somehow darker." said Joe.

"Well... I don't know Dean, I mean..." said Sam and simply gestured to the forest to explain his views.

"So? dark and scary is our forte!" said Dean.

"I'm game." said Joe, and cocked his pistol, this time Sam was outnumbered.

"Fine." he agreed and they entered the even darker area of the forest.

As they walked, they noticed it was eerily quiet.

"Hear that?" asked Joe.

"No." said both brothers confusedly.

"Exactly." said Joe, the brothers agreed with a nod.

As they walked Joe was sure he felt a rush of air, but when he turned nothing was there, he caught up and was about to say something before two massive beasts entered the road clearing, Sam got his shotgun and Dean had his pistol, as Joe moved forward another two jumped in front of him, blocking him from the brothers, all three men dropped their bags to free themselves for combat.

Sam and Dean meanwhile, unaware of this development continued to slowly move forward toward the wolves.

"I'll take left, you take right." said Sam.

"Yeah, hey kid, stay back there got it?" hearing silence they turned to see him fighting, but turning was their mistake and both wolves pounced, Dean moved but his gun was gone, knocked from his grip by the wolf, but he was thankful his hand wasn't still attached. Sam hit the wolf with his shotgun, and it hid, Dean had the wolf's paws in his hands, keeping them from clawing him, and he headbutted the wolf, it whimpered and also hid, they went to help Joe, but before they could get a look the wolves jumped in the way, blocking the view and the way.

Dean reclaimed his pistol and got ready, but a growl from the side caused him to turn and shoot another in the head, that went down, Dean gestured his gun to his head to signal Sam 'go for the head' while Sam blasted the wolf in front of him with salt rounds, but hit the shoulder, the wolf supposed to be taking Dean on pounced him, and pushed him, Sam hit a tree slumping against it in pain, the wolf pounced again, with intent to kill this time, Sam lifted his feet to the wolf's shoulders keeping it back, he needed to reload but was using his shotgun to brace the wolf's teeth, to prevent a bite, the teeth, which were not enough to break the shotgun but enough to give Sam a challenge were plenty sharp, but could not pierce the shotgun.

Meanwhile Dean was dealing with Sam's wolf and shot it a few times, realising it's made of wood, he took a few pieces off, slowing it down more, but because it was circling couldn't get a clear headshot, suddenly it stopped, let out a huge roar but stopped short, whimpered and fell limp, as it did, Dean saw Joe with a few dirt marks on his shirt where his hoodie was zipped down, but no injuries, and a blade in hand, this kid might not be so bad after all...

Meanwhile Sam was struggling but refused to give way, pushing with all his might, when like Dean, the wolf's green eyes went slightly paler and it whimpered a little before falling forward on the gun, and it's jaw loosened, Sam kicked both his feet and sent the dead wolf off, Joe held his hand out and Sam took it, getting pulled up and saved by a kid, Dean didn't look to be any better, looking slightly embarrassed as a pro Hunter getting saved by a new kid, Sam would say 'beginners luck' or 'I had him distracted' but judging by the two dead wolves farther back, Joe had taken on and killed two on his own, while being taken by surprise, Sam, and Dean from the looks of it, were impressed.

"Hey, you ever hunted before?" asked Dean.

"Lots of times, why?" asked Joe.

"You handled that like a pro Hunter, for a kid, that was pretty damn good." laughed Sam.

"Well, when you hunt on your own, you tend to learn how to defend yourself against more than one nasty, hell, I've cleared out vamp nests on my own before, I could show you a few tricks." said Joe and they kept walking.

"Those things looked like they were made of wood though." said Dean.

"Yeah, that was strange."

"It was said that the druids, witches in the woods, would never harm anyone, unfortunately, it didn't carry across the other way around, so humans used to plunder their treasures and kill their people so the Druids created lignarapaces 'Timberwolves' to protect their people, they were constructs made of wood, but when the Druids died out so did the magics, and they burned all knowledge of them, no druids survived, I am sure of that." said Joe.

"Great, well all we need to know is how to kill them, but nice history lesson." said Dean.

"Don't pay attention to him, that could be useful." said Sam.

"Doubtful, no druids survived at all, the Demons and Angels killed them, because they were planning to destroy Heaven and Hell by combining every forest Druid clan's magic, believe it or not, Angels took one half of the world, here and Demons took the other, when each side went to the other side of the world they found the Druids already dead, they were very thorough." said Joe.

"Interesting..." said Sam as they caught up.

"Hey, we're not far." said Dean, it was true, the smoke stacks were about 10 minutes away and it was clear of trees.

"Let's go get the impala, we should have an hour of gas left." said Joe, they went back and got the car, and brought it to the spot where they left off and kept going, they collected the remains of the wolves just in case.

While they drove they passed many animals, and all seemed to avoid the car luckily, eventually they came to the edge of the forest where Dean stopped the car.

"She's pretty much done, let's see if anyone here has fuel." said Dean, there was a cottage ahead.

They got out and knocked on the door.

"Coming!" they heard a soft voice call out.

"Who lives here 'the people whisperer'?" asked Dean.

"That makes absolutely no sense Dean." said Sam.

"Shut up." replied the elder Hunter.

"Prick." Joe said to Dean.

"Ass." Dean replied.

"Jerk." said Sam to Dean.

"Bitch." Dean replied as the door opened...

Both Sam and Dean opened their mouths to speak but left them to collect files at seeing a horse answer the door, even Joe was stunned.

"Eep!" exclaimed the yellow, pink maned pony and slammed the door upon seeing the dirty trio.

"Dude..." said Dean.

"What." started Joe.

"The." continued Sam.

"Actual." continued Dean.

"Fuck." they all said.

"That... Is that... Did that, horse squeal and slam the door?" asked Sam.

"I, think she did, yes." said Joe.

"She?" asked Dean.

"It- she did look quite... Feminine." agreed Sam.

"Whatever dude, I'm now questioning everything I've been brought up to believe." said Dean as they walked back to the car.

"Woah..." said Sam as he stumbled for a second, and blinking rapidly, Joe felt the same, drained.

"Gotta... Lie down..." said Dean and climbed in the driver's seat, he shut the door and as soon as he did, he leaned on it and fell asleep, Sam got in the passenger seat and copied Dean.

Joe got in the back and laid down, also sleeping...

Meanwhile Fluttershy just recovered from a panic attack, she opened the door again and saw they had gone.

"Phew, told you Fluttershy, your imagination got the best of you." she said to herself and carried on with her animals.

Later that night Fluttershy had just opened her door for the animals, she usually had a clinic open for a few hours to tend to any animals that don't come out during the day.

Her first patients arrived and she got to work...

-A few hours later...-

Fluttershy had finished for the night and was about to close up and wash herself before she saw a squirrel running up with something on his back, when he got closer, Fluttershy saw it was another squirrel, that had a hole through it's chest from a branch!

"Oh my oh my oh my..." said Fluttershy and got her medical supplies, she stitched up the wound as best she could on both sides and added disinfectant, and eased the pain as best she could, but it was no good, the squirrel was dying and Fluttershy couldn't do anything, she started to cry when she heard hoofsteps.

"H- h- hello?" she squeaked and partially looked up, she then saw one of those things that came to her door before, but she couldn't make out which one because it was surrounded in darkness.

It crouched down and put its claw together and a light shone in it and it pressed its claw on the squirrel, suddenly the squirrel jumped up and ran back to the forest with it's friend, Fluttershy watched them go and turned back to the creature, but it was gone...
