Researching #2: The "White Hole" Event

Equestria.

A land of peace and wonder. On the surface of the planet, there are two goddess princesses who rule the land of peace and wonder. The first co-ruler is the goddess of the Sun known as Princess Celestia, who controls the Sun's position every day. The second ruler is the goddess of the Moon, also known as Princess Luna, who was formerly a villain, but since her salvation, she has now retrieved the role as the controller of the Moon. These two royal rulers are more than a thousand years old already and still hold their title as "The Co-rulers Of Equestria". But, this land is not only protected by the princesses alone, but also by six ponies, A.K.A. The Mane 6. This team includes a princess, a farm pony, a rainbow-maned pegasus, a shy and timid animal caretaker, a fashionista and a party planner/4th wall breaker.

Origin Of Equestria.

Before the land received its name, there were three different tribes who cared not for each other. The included individuals of each tribe consisted of unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies.

Unicorn ponies or simply 'unicorns' have long horns always sticking on their foreheads. They use these body parts to cast a variety of unnatural abilities called 'spells' which are fueled by a source of energy within the unicorns horn called 'magic'. Some of these said spells include levitation, duplication, invisibility, producing portals and many more. Although they can cast spells, they also use their horns for other more 'common' uses.

Pegasi are recognized by their wings, which they utilize to fly and soar in the air. They also have the ability to manipulate weather like move clouds and create tornadoes and a 'passive' kind of magic that enables them to walk and stand on clouds.

And finally, earth ponies have the ability to grow plants and food, wherever they desire to. They also possess a special connection to nature and plant life. Although they cannot fly like pegasi or cast spells similar to unicorns, their primary abilities are considered just as necessary and useful.

One day, a strange blizzard occurred, disturbing their precious peace. Eventually, the three tribes' leaders agreed to hold a summit and discuss on how to stop this event, but it only lead to more arguing and blaming. Fortunately, the leaders' assistants soon found out that a group of creatures called 'windigos' were the ones responsible for this snowstorm by feeding off the ponies' hate for each other. The three assistants told their leaders that they did not hate each other, which caused one of them to produce a big, floating and flaming pink heart that melted away the snow and drove off the windigos. Soon later, all of them became friends and found a new country to live in together, which they named "Equestria".

During the present..........

It was currently 8 o'clock and Equestria was having a beautiful night time. The sky was now dark blue with twinkling stars and the Moon above everypony's head. They felt safe during The Goddess of Night's favorite purposed time, but they always remain indoors in case anything bad occurs. Unlike that one time when a tall and slender pony-like creature came, wandering in their town and being misinterpreted for a monstrous beast. Unlike any other day, today was a very special one.

Everypony went to the town square which included a town hall and a statue of a pony, standing on what seemed like a sort of ball with one hind leg. All of them were excited because tonight was a special and not-so-secret event called "The White Hole Event". It only occurs once every 3 thousand years and it received its name because during the event, a giant and swirling white hole would appear at a random location in space. It is predicted that tonight, it will appear in the sky above the Ponyville town hall, to which the citizens were frightened at first, but soon calmed down when it was also said that it will not cause anything but appear. All of them were already gathered up in front of the town hall, except for one certain pony princess and juvenile drake who were late because the little one had to use the bathroom. Twice. What? Oh, sorry. Make that three times.

"C'mon, Twilight!" The drake exclaimed, breathing heavily for air while running as fast as his little reptilian feet can. "We're gonna be late!"

"Well," The lavender winged and horned princess said. "maybe if you haven't drunk so much soda, then we would've been early!" She has some problems with this kid.

"Hey, what else was I supposed to do!? Let it go to waste!?" What WAS he supposed to do? Throw it into the trash bin, that's what.

They looked ahead of them and saw the town hall along with a vast crowd of ponies, gathered into a single group. Standing in front of the entrance and facing the crowd of equines was the mayor herself, also known as Mayor Mare. ( That is so uncanny. ) After Twilight and the dragon have arrived at the front of the crowd to get a better view, the mayor decided to set about her announcement.

"Welcome," She greeted every pony. "one and all as we witness the most stunning and awe-striking event to ever occur in our lives: The White Hole Event!!" Everypony cheered and clapped their hooves, not knowing that this 'hole' has more to it than just looks. This event was unearthed by the two co-rulers of Equestria themselves when they found a secret book about ancient universal history. According to the book, there was an event dubbed "The White Hole Event" that......well, you already know the rest. But, the last page was torn off, to the princesses' curiosity. Even the books on ancient Equestrian history do not explain this. So, leaving the missing subject of the last page a mystery, they decided to tell the ponies about this strange and peculiar event.

"Tonight, we will witness the astonishing, white hole above the town hall and take in every second of its beautiful glory!!" Mayor Mare was pretty excited and pumped up about this. She has heard of black holes, but never of white holes. So, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her and everypony in Ponyville, except for The Princess Of Friendship who will probably witness it again in the next 3,000 years or so. Speaking of the princess, she was just in front of the group when Spike pulled a video camera out of nowhere and planned on recording the white hole's arrival.

"Oh, man!" Spike shouted. "I can't wait to record every second of this moment!!" He was not going to wait for another 3 thousand years to see this. He is not even sure that dragons can live that long. Can they?

"Well," Twilight said. "contain your excitement until it actually happens, Mr. Jumpy." Then, she could pick up a bunch of voices, heading towards her. The owners of those voices belonged to The Elements Of Harmony themselves. They spotted Twilight and decided to say 'Hi'.

"Howdy, Twilight!" The orange, Stetson-wearing mare spoke first. "We thought yer' face was familiar."

"Hey, girls!" Twilight greeted. "You're watching the white hole too?"

"Are you kidding us!?" A rainbow-haired and blue pegasus asked. "Pfft! There's NO WAY we were gonna miss out on this! We heard everything and, to be honest, I was actually intrigued by it." Indeed, she was intrigued, but she also joined because her friends were there and disappointing friends is the first step to lose them. Or was that stealing their lunches?

"Yes, dear." Then 'marshmallow', indigo-haired pony said. "We truly did not desire to crush your spirits. Also, I thought the beauty of this 'white hole' will give me new ideas for my clothing line."

"Typical." The pegasus thought as she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah!" The pink one suddenly appeared in front of the lavender alicorn. "And best of all, wegettoseeoneofEquestria'smostsecretivesecreteverand............!!!!!!!!!!" Before she could continue, a yellow hoof blocked her mouth.

"Um, Pinkie?" A yellow, light pink haired pegasus pony asked with a hushful voice. "Maybe we should wait until it happens if that's okay with you." She removed her hoof from the pony's mouth. Then, the pony saluted like a soldier with her left front hoof. She was supposed to use her right..*sigh*...forget it.

"And now," Mayor Mare spoke once again as a brown stallion wearing a green bow tie pushed a pony-sized hourglass beside her. "mares and gentlecolts, we should be expecting the white hole to appear in 10.....9.....8..." She began to count down, accompanied by the rest of the ponies, including The Mane 6 and Spike. ".....7.....6.......5..."

As they were all counting down to one, a giant tear suddenly appeared in the night sky, slowly taking the form of a swirling, white hole. ( I'm not sure if it's actually that or a vortex. ) "......3.....2......1!!" After the entire crowd finally ended their countdown, the tear has now completely taken the form of a white hole. Its shining white light was even bright enough for the ponies to see and luckily, they have brought sunglasses along the way for eyesight protection. They all "Ooh-ed" at the glamor that the white hole acquired.

"Woah," Spike said with his sunglasses on his face and his camera recording every single millisecond of it. "This is even cooler than I expected!!"

"Same here!!" The pegasus agreed. She thought that it was going to be another one of those lame events where they just look at something for a long amount of time, but she thought wrong.

Meanwhile.......

The Traveler's POV

Darkness.

That was the only thing that surrounded my eyes after my.......'you-know-what'. I never imagined that it would come to this: being knocked out in an X-Wing Fighter while being dragged into a black hole with my helmet bouncing around and hitting me straight in the head for about 4 or 5 times. All I could do was try to lift my arms, but I was too limp to even move a single muscle. The only option that was available to me was to simply wait and hope that what awaits me on the other side will hopefully be somewhere more peaceful than a volcano.

Suddenly, my eyelids could let in a small quantity of white light into my eyes, letting me know that I was about to finally arrive at.....somewhere I probably don't recognize. After a couple of seconds, I felt like my ship was falling and hurtling because of a kind of gravitational pull from what I was assuming was a planet. As the light died down in my eyes, I could see blackness again, but a bit brighter than usual. I couldn't feel the wind because I reinforced the window locks to resist even the strongest of gusts before the launch. I knew that upgrade wasn't worth it!! Ahem, anyway, this feeling continued on until my ship started to rock very violently, indicating that I have finally crashed onto a type of surface.

But, it was mostly some pasture and soil because I already know what those smell like and don't even ask me how poop covered in MORE poop smells and TASTES like. After the feeling ended, it was somewhat hard to make out, but I could've sworn that I could have heard voices from outside. Most of them sounded feminine, but at least I also could've picked up some male ones. I was still knocked out, so there was no way for me to tell them to get me out of my ship. Good thing I didn't fully make my front view window completely sound-proof. Suddenly, I could hear the cockpit's window open with steam dramatically spewing out gently from the sides.

Then, I could hear some more voices just in front of my fighter. One of them sounded like a younger variation of Tara Strong. After that, I felt like I was being lifted up by anti-gravity and my arms and legs fell down, limply waving around as my body was brought out of the cockpit and onto the bare grass. One of them was assumingly poking the left side of my body with what felt like a long branch. Luckily, the tip wasn't sharp nor was it pointy enough to leave a serious tear in my spacesuit. I just had that thing dry cleaned. I could hear more female voices that argued over the figure that poked me earlier. Then, I was lifted off the ground once more and put on what felt like a wooden type of surface.

The source of the surface rocked a little before moving forward. Due to me still remaining to be unconscious, I would just have to wait again and hope that something or 'someone' will help me with my troubled state. Unlike last time where I was nearly about to fall into a Sarlacc's multi-toothed mouth inside of a giant pit one of my friends and I dug up. Before any of you judge me, yes, it IS possible to do that. If you're one of my friends, of course.
