Journey 2: The Dark Prognosticus
Chapter 1: A new day
Previous ChapterNext ChapterMorning had come early for me and Crimson. I was already dressed and was waiting for Crimson so I could drive us to school. I had on a dark blue suit with a red tie and my blue converse. As a science teacher now, I had to wear something sciencey. Crimson came down the stairs in a purple t-shirt, blue jeans, and her favorite black heels. She only wore heels when she felt like it. In them, she was as tall as me. She had her bag over her shoulder and was ready to go. "See you after school!" Crimson called to mom and dad. They waved bye and smiled.
"I can't believe Galaxy took up a job at Crimson's school." Dad said. Mom chuckled.
"He did that so he could watch out for Crimson while she was at school. You know, Galaxy has pretty much taken responsibility for her." Mom said. "He's become a fine young man." She smiled. Me and Crimson walked to my car. It wasn't an impala anymore, it was dark blue mustang with a blue-tooth speaker in it, meaning I could drive and talk to someone on the phone at the same time. It was linked to my contacts. As we pulled up at Crimson's school a few minutes later, two students were having a fight.
"What's going on here?" I asked as I pulled into the designated parking spot the school gave me. I walked out of my car with Crimson. She gasped when she saw the two students fighting.
"That's Babs!" Crimson said. "I don't know who the other one is." She shrugged. She could hear what Babs and the other student were fighting about. Babs threw a punch. The other student fell over and got back up, blood coming out of his nose.
"That's for calling my cousin a wimp!" Babs said. It was obvious now she was protecting Apple Bloom, who appeared to be in tears and being comforted by Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Then, all of the students backed up as Principal Celestia walked out of the school to the fight with Vice Principal Luna. They did not look happy. Luna walked over to me.
"Galaxy." She said.
"Vice Principal." I said. "How are you?" I asked Luna. Luna shrugged.
"The day could've started off better. That student Tia's talking to? He's new. Just got transferred from Cloudsdale Academy. His name is Rainbow Blitz." She told me. Rainbow Blitz was at least 16 with rainbow colored hair, blue skinned with magenta eyes, roughly 5'9 and was wearing a blue jacket with a white t-shirt that had a rainbow bolt on it, blue jeans, and red sneakers.
"He looks like Rainbow Dash." I noticed. Luna nodded.
"That's because he's Ms. Dash's younger brother." Luna told me. "He so happens to be one grade above your sister's." Luna told us, then smiling at Crimson. "You're lucky you have such a responsible brother to look after you, Ms. Ink." Luna told her. Crimson smiled.
"Thank you, Vice Principal Luna." She said. Luna chuckled.
"Just call me Luna, Crimson." Luna smiled. Crimson nodded. Principal Celestia walked over. It looked like she was very mad.
"I cannot believe the nerve of that child!" Celestia groaned as she sat down on one of the benches. "Do you know what he said to me? He told me I was an annoying insufferable principal who doesn't know how to do her job." She sighed. "What do they teach kids at Cloudsdale? Sass?" Celestia said. I sat down next to her. "Thank you for coming by the way, Galaxy. It meant a lot to Crimson that you started working here." She told me. I smiled.
"Anytime." I told her. In Crimson's science class, Dr. Hooves and I were teaching physics. I helped him out with anything science. Dr. Hooves was brown skinned with spiky brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a brown pinstripe suit with a blue tie and cream converse. No one knew how old he was. He seemed to almost never age.
"Come on! Anyone? Physics!" The Doctor said. "Isaac Newton! Newton's Laws of Motion! Anyone?" He asked. No one raised their hands. Some kids in the back were playing on their phones. "I can't believe this." The Doctor said, astounded. "Not one of you knows about Newton's Laws of Motion?" He asked. Crimson raised her hand. "Yes, Ms. Ink." The Doctor said.
"First law. 'An object put in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.'"Crimson said. The Doctor clapped.
"Excellent! Now, can anyone tell me Newton's second law of motion?" The Doctor asked. No one replied. I face palmed.
"What, is science class dead today?" I asked him.
"it would seem so." The Doctor said to me.
