Journey 2: The Dark Prognosticus
Chapter 2: The message
Previous ChapterAfter school that day, Crimson and I were walking to my car when Luna ran up to us, panting. "This just came for you." She said, handing me an envelope. Crimson looked at me then the envelope. I ripped it open and read the letter inside.
"Galaxy, it's Quillton. I know I shouldn't be bothering you because you're a science teacher now and you've got your family to take care of, but this is big, buddy. Very big. Sunset just got word from Princess Twilight that someone purchased a book in an antique shop in Ponyville, Twilight's world. I've also sent a picture of the book purchased. You should recognize it. I need you and Crimson to meet me at the Canterlot High statue in a few minutes by the time you get this. We're going on another adventure, buddy. Hope you and Crimson are up for it. Sincerely, Quillton Brooks. " The letter said. I glanced at the picture of the book Quillton sent me and it almost made me drop the picture. The book purchased was of dark design, and able to destroy all worlds. Soon, after a few minutes, Quillton's car pulled up. He stepped out, now in a black blazer, a white shirt with a red tie, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. I whistled at his apparel choice.
"Well, I see you've changed your outfit choice." He said when he saw mine. I smiled. "Galaxy Nebula, science teacher." Quillton chuckled.
"Well, you haven't changed a bit except for the outfit." I said. Quillton looked down at his outfit.
"This? Oh this is only for my work. My other one is everyday." He told me. Crimson sighed. "By the way, hello again, Crimson." Quillton said.
"Hey." Crimson said as she fixed her hair which was a little messy.
"So Quill, exactly what book was purchased?" I asked. He sighed.
"Well Galaxy, it's a very dark book. Possibly one I haven't seen in years. It's called, at least I think, The Dark Prognosticus." He told me. My eyes narrowed in fear. I knew that book. Me and Quillton faced it before. That was the very book that had turned half of the population into mindless slaves for it's previous owner. "Who purchased it this time?" I asked, trying to hide the worry in my voice. Quillton walked up to me and Crimson.
"Starlight Glimmer." He told us. Mine and Crimson's eyes narrowed.
