A Kaiser's Rule: The Warg of the Badlands
Chapter Two
Previous ChapterCelestia was having a boring day, cleaning up the carcasses of changelings that got slammed into buildings. It was then she recieved a scroll from a deep green flame at her feet. Curious she unfurled it with her magic. She almost laughed at the start of this. To the Retched Cur Celestia. But then the letter got into more detail, more depth. She dropped it realizing she started a war she couldn't win. The Kaiser would see to that. She raced back to the castle, hoping that her niece and her husband would be safe. It wasn't to be. In a room, with the bed still soaked in blood, was the half eaten corpses of her niece Cadance and Her husband Shining Armor. Written in blood, was this. You may be immortal but your family isn't.
Realising her Nephew would be next on the chopping block, she tried a teleportation spell, and then saw in the room, was the culprit, gnawing on a familiar horn. Crack, Crunch. She tried to zap it with lightning. But was a suprisingly strong shield in place. Invisible except with magic, With a final sluurp of the blood from the horn. She got a good look at what she assumed was an agent of the writer.
"You stand before the Kaiser Emerald Flame." She heard a voice say.
"You are so pathetic, I would cut you off your head just to make you watch your kingdom burn."
"Who is speaking, Reveal yourself!" She shouted.
"There is a parental bond you severed, apologies, your dearly departed severed. You killed my mother, and my Queen."
"She gave me love, meals, and the best magic training possible, when she was able."
"You would be glad to hear. Their death was quick, I bit their throat and severed their little arteries."
"Who are you?! This Beast is not a changeling."
That would prove nearly fatal. The adoration of the changelings, and his innate natural magic would prove to much more than hers. The shield expanded, gleaming in green flames, and let loose a ball of deep green fire straight at her. She held up a shield, big mistake. She didn't notice the changeling behind her. Nor did she feel the black jack to her skull. Blurry eyed she looked up at the paws of this murderous beast.
"I will grant you mercy, Remember my Causi Bell."
She faded to unconsciousness.
She awoke in a hospital bed, she saw her bandaged head and noticed a horn cast atop her head. Her main has returned to it's natural pink. She needed to know if her student still lived. She saw a note on the stand. She used her hooves to grab it.
She knows the horn cast meant her horn was damaged or had fractures. She saw a similar letter. With the causi bell.
You are to either surrender the city of Canterlot, or face the full wrath of the Royal Changeling Empire. My mother conquered the city only to be struck down by an illegal use of magic in your own laws. I hearby declare that you are void of a mercy. You will lose at least 3 family members. Their blood is now on your hooves. But, be glad to know. The Great Kaiser feasted well on their flesh, and blood. Their power is mine. Welcome to the start of a new age.
She fainted with her mind spent, trying to unravel this mystery.
From the shadows, the Warg watched. He said to the changeling in the portal behind him. Act Alpha complete. Prepare Ritual Beta.
