Chapter 2: A Busy Day For Twilight

Dear Princess Celestia,

I Found A Changeling egg last night.

But no worries! She can't transform into other ponies

or feed off love! Crazy, right? Anyways, just letting you

know before you arrive in Ponyville tomorrow.

"I can't wait for Celestia to come tomorrow!" cheered Twilight as she bounced around the room.

"Me... too..." Spike choked as he struggled with Vanish.

"Oh. Let me help you with her."

Twilight picked up baby Vanish with her magic and looked her in the eye.

"Now Vanish, don't play on Uncle Spike. He is not a jungle gym!"

Vanish started staring at a toy dragon across the room.

"Vanish, are you listening to me?"

Vanish started crying.

"Vanish? What do you want?"

She continued crying.

"Uh... here! Have Sir Flames-A-Lot!"

Spike grabbed the toy dragon and held into Vanish's eyes.

She jumped for joy as she played with the toy.

"You knew just what she wanted! How do you do that?"

"I don't know! It just came to me!"

There was a knock on Twilight's castle doors.

"Who is it?"

"Rainbow Dash!" shouted Rainbow Dash.

"Come...OW! In..."

Vanish pokes Twilight in the eye. Rainbow opened the castle doors and flew into the empty room Twilight was in. Which was not too far away from the doors.

"Twilight, I have some bad news."

"What is it? OW!"

Vanish now pulled at her mane.

"There will be  a weekly strom starting in a few hours!"

"WHAT? But Princess Celestia is supposed to be arriving tomorrow!"

"I'm sorry. It's just the weather team doing their job."

Rainbow left the castle to tell the rest of Ponyville the bad news.

"*sigh* I was really looking forward to her meeting Vanish."

"Don't worry, Twilight! All you have to do is wait a few days!"

A burst of thunder was heard all around Ponyville.

"They must be getting ready."

Vanish started squeezing Twilight's leg. She started whimpering.

"I think she's scared of thunder and lightning."

"Oh... don't be scared. I'm right here."

Vanish started crying.

"What do I do, Spike?"

"I don't know!"

Twilight started humming a tune. Vanish started stopping to cry. Another burst of thunder was heard. Spike started hugging Vanish.

"Don't worry, we're here."

Vanish started yawning. She fell asleep in Twilight's arms.

"Aw...."

"It is her nap time anyway."

Twilight placed her into the same place she did last night.

"Sweet dreams, my Vanish."
