Beautiful Nightmare

Trixie walked towards the tree, she sat down next to a small pond. She looked at her reflection and wheeped.  Trixie cried and puts her hooves in front of her.

"How could i've ever been like this?" Trixie thought "now i have no one!"

Trixie continued crying as remembered her past, her brutal father and her mother who had passed away after a severe heart attack. Trixie remembered that she wanted to become something beyond amazing.

"Trixie! You are a useless pony who is just getting in other ponies way! You are a terrible excuse for a pony! Get out now!" Trixie's father said in Trixie's memory. Trixie stood up and cleaned the tears in her eyes.

"Oh mother, i do wish i could see you again" Trixie said to herself "i'm very lonely and hurt and i can't do anything right now."

Trixie took out a photo, it was a picture of her mother, her brother and her as a small filly. She remembered the day that picture was taken. She flashed back to that day, it was her entire family but her father who had gotten drunk and passed out in a bar. Trixie and her family were at a Circus, Trixie has been beaten by her father until she began to bleed, so her mother took Trixie out to the Circus to help her a bit.

"Look Trixie" Trixie's mother said with a sweet delicate voice "look at the ring master". Trixie looked up to a unicorn wearing a red coat and a black top hat.

"Ladies and Gentlecolts, welcome to The Great And Powerful Malvicks Circus!" said a Stallion in the loud speaker. Trixie looked in awe when the center of the ring was filled with lazers and fireworks, Trixie smiled at this and almost making her forget her pain.

"Welcome everypony! Now hold on to your hats as i amaze you all with my magic!" Malvick said with an exquisite way "watch closely as i convert this ordinary brick, into a marvelous bird". Malvick took his hat off, and his horn glowed as the brick began changing, later after a huge glow of magic, the brick disappeared and a beautiful bird appeared. Trixie was in awe.

"Mommy, mommy" Trixie said in excitement "can i do magic like him someday?"

Trixie's mother looked down on Trixie, she stared at a blue pony with a cornflower mane, coverd in a bit of dirt and blood due to the beating she had. She smiled at Trixie and brushed her hair with her hoove in a passionate way.

"Yes Trixie, my dear" Trixie's mother said with a tremble in he voice "you can be whatever you want to be, all you have to do is believe you can" Trixie's mother dropped a tear, Trixie looked up to her mother.

"Why are you crying mommy?" Trixie said worried.

"Oh nothing, dear" Trixie's mother said in fear "nothing at all".

Trixie's brother who was just a new born colt was toothing on Trixie's brand new purple cape.

"Come on little brother" Trixie said playfully "you're such a little rascal"

Trixie came back from her flashback, hurt from what happened after what happened that night. Trixie didn't want to remember, but her mind brought it up.

When Trixie and her family came home, Trixie's drunk father was on the living room, drunk as ever.

"Red Drop, you're drunk again" Trixie's mother said to him "always drunk and beating us".

"Quiet there, i don't care what you think" Trixie's father said weakly.

"You need to stop or you're going to kill someone" Trixie's mother said "if you don't stop then we must go".

Trixie's father scolded. "Who said you could go?" Trixie's father slapped Trixie's mother "if you leave, i will find you and beat you!"

Trixie's mother was on the ground, bleeding from face, blood ran down from her face as she told the Trixie to grab his brother and get out the house. Trixie grabbed her brother and headed out. She stopped outside the door, she couldn't take it anymore. Trixie ran back inside.

"Daddy stop!" Trixie screamed at her father. Trixie's dad pushed her hard to the ground.

"You stay out of this you dumb, useless pony!" Trixie's dad screamed at her. Trixie, as a unicorn, used her magic to push her father away. Trixie's father got up again, forgetting about his wife, ran to Trixie, furious.

"TRIXIE!!" her mother screamed as the stallion charged at her. As soon as her father reached Trixie, Trixie used a teleportation spell and appeared again at the door.

"Let's go Mom!" Trixie said to her mother. Trixie and her mother ran off the house. Her father came out yelling at them. They ran off with only, Trixie's clothes she was wearing, a bag filled with money left over, the baby pony and baby feed for a week.

Trixie was done with it, she had enough of the fights and enough the blood shed. She walked up to her mother. She cried on her side, her mother did too. They stopped a few miles away from the house, out of sight of her father.

"Mommy, why did we stay we dad?" Trixie said weepingly.

"You're father was the only one who could get a job" Trixie's mother said sitting next to a boulder. "since the new baby colt, i don't think we can afford losing this help."

  Trixie snuggled next to her mother, crying. Trixie wanted to help her, her mother gave her love and care, and she wanted to return the favor, Trixie got up.

"Don't worry mom, i'll find a job to take care of us" Trixie said determined.

"Trixie, you're too young for a job, i don't know what's going to happen now." Trixie's mother said sadly.

"I'm going to find a way, and i'm going to take care of the family" Trixie said determined.

Trixie came up to her mother, and using her magic, she took out a tissue and wiped her mother's tears. Trixie got closer and hugged her mother.

"I love you mom, and i want to take care of you" Trixie said picking her mother up.

Trixie and her family began walking again, they're now seeking for shelter. They walk up to an abandoned house almost broken down. They settled down and made a bed out of a box they found, styrofoam inside the box created a cushion. Using Trixie's long, purple cape was used as a blanket. Her mother tucked Trixie in her bed. She leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight my dear Trixie, you'll always be my little girl who wants to try to keep her family safe" Trixie's mother said smiling at her daughter.

Trixie smiled as a tear fell on the blue pony, Trixie stood up and hugged her mom as she cried on her shoulder.

"I love you mom" she said softly.

"I love you too honey" Her mother replied.

That night, was the night Trixie decided to stand up for her family, she was going to change things, and she won't stop on anything.
