Beautiful Nightmare

Trixie came back from the flashback, she was on the ground crying and thinking what she's going to do next. Trixie got up, cleaned the dirt from her cape and started walking slowly to her next place she can call home.

"Maybe there's a town over there." Trixie said in her mind while looking over the forrest. She grabbed her purple magic hat and started walking forward. Trixie fell down, she looked down, one of her hooves were in a bad shape due to ponies trowing rocks at her when she ran from ponyville.

"Ouch! That Sparkle!" Trixie said in pain. "She ruined my chances on making a new home!"

A snap came from the forest. Trixie suddenly became alert and her horn glowed, ready to take on the creature appearing.

"Stand back creature!" Trixie said with a tremble in her voice. "or the Great and Powerful Trixie will-". Trixie stopped. "Oh who am i fooling?! Kill me! I mean nothing else more in this world! Strike me down and kill me!" Trixie screamed in tears.

A small form appeared, Trixie looked closer and noticed the creature to be a form of a pony, a stallion.

"There's no need to fear...um...Trixie was it?" The stallion asked as he walked closer to Trixie. "i don't mean no harm, you seem lost and hurt."

Trixie saw the pony closer, her face changed to amazement when she saw the stallion. He was a blue unicorn with a black mane with blue inlines, a handsome pony looking down on Trixie's hoove.

"Your hoove is in a bad shape, let me take you to ponyville clinic" The stallion said to Trixie while he picked her up.

"NO! Don't take me back to that dreaded place! I've had enough of it! Let me here to die and be forgotten!" Trixie screamed at the stallion.

"I'm not going to let you here alone to die." The stallion said putting Trixie on his back. The stallion carefully walked towards ponyville. The stallion was quick yet gentle on not letting Trixie fall off.

"My name is Midnight Moon, i was walking here to get out here from everyone else until i spotted you." Midnight said as he jumped from on edge to the ground.

"Put me down...umm...Midnight" Trixie said to him. "There is no point on helping me"

Midnight stopped where he was. He looked back to Trixie who was trying to free herself but her hoove was preventing her. "You are a stubborn pony aren't you?" Midnight told Trixie. Trixie got mad and tried a teleportation spell, but she was weak.

"I put a spell on you so you don't run off all hurt" Midnight said. "It sounds creepy, i know, but i'm not going to let anypony die."

"Well, i don't find the purpose of saving me" Trixie said with a weak voice.

"Yes you will, i want to help you." Midnight said.

Midnight walk slower as he reached the ponyville entrance. Ponies were walking around and the began noticing Midnight and Trixie on his back. Ponies began to whisper and looking at Trixie in disgust. Midnight reached the ponyville Clinic as Nurse Redheart sat on her chair working with a patient. Redheart smiled at Midnight, Trixie peeked her head up and Redheart smile disappears and becomes a hatred expression.

"Midnight?" Nurse Redheart asked as she looked at Trixie in hate.

"Yes Nurse?" Midnight said with a small smile.

"What are you doing?" Nurse asked him

"Well..." Began Midnight. "I found her lost in the Everfree Forrest and she was injured, so i decided to pick her up and take her here to you so you can care for her."

Nurse looked at Trixie, she saw how her hoove was damaged and how she was bleeding. Beaten. Nurse sighed at the idea and put Trixie in a empty patient bed. Nurse took Trixie's cape and hat, putting it aside from her and began cleaning the cuts and blood from her body. Trixie felt weak and soon passed out.

Trixie woke up, she was a bit dizzy and confused on where she was, then she remembered what happened. Trixie couldn't feel her left hind hoove. She took the covers off with her magic to see what happened to it, she slowly moved it and noticed that her leg was covers up with cloth and a cotton sleeve, Trixie noticed all the bandages in her body as she put the covers back, then Midnight walked into her room.

"Good Morning there." Midnight said as he pulled the cart of medicine and food for Trixie.

"What happened to me?" Trixie said as Midnight gave her the medicine.

"Well, Nurse said that you broke your hind leg and had cuts all over you." Midnight opened the medicine and gave it to her.

"Why did you save me?" Trixie said, Trixie thought the stallion was really handsome and her her heart began to race when Midnight touched to hoove to fix Trixie's bed.

"I like helping out, and you were alone and lost like i said." Midnight said as he moved the cart close so Trixie could eat.

"This Stallion saved my life and brought me all the way to a hospital" Trixie thought, she began to blush a bit. "he is really handsome and i think i like him."

"So Trixie" Midnight said as he put Trixie's food to her at her bed. "why were you at the forest?"

Trixie stopped. "oh no, if i tell him why i was there, he would probably not like me." Trixie said in her head. "I was just having a bad day and wanted to get out and think."

"Oh...well ok, but why didn't want to come to ponyville?" Midnight asked.

Trixie was speechless, she didn't know what to say next. She wanted him to like her but without her knowing why she didn't want to go to ponyville again. "Well...um, i-" Trixie began but stopped when Nurse called Midnight. Midnight left the room and Trixie sighed of relieve.

"What do i tell him?" Trixie thought to herself. " i don't want to look like a fool, but what i did made me seem that." Trixie began eating her food, nervously eating it and thinking what she was going to do.

"Maybe i should tell him the Truth" she concluded as she took a sip from her juice.

Midnight came back in the room, Trixie sighed and reviewed in her mind what she was going to say.

"I'm sorry what were you going to say?" Midnight said with a smile.

Trixie's mind races an every possible bad thing of what could happen popped in her mind.

"Well, i came to ponyville to start a career and make a new home because my little brother and i needed the money to keep on going. So i decided to make my way in by becoming a magician. I guess i may have streched the truth too far when i said i slayes an Ursine mayor." Trixie started. "i boasted to the extreme, i got carried away and just wanted to be good at something."

Midnight smile turned into a concered face. Midnight looked at Trixie in a different way.

"Were you the one pony who were on stage and turned that one white mare's mane green?" Midnight asked her without any expression in his voice.

"Yes" Trixie said looking down sad. "I truly am sorry for doing that and everything i caused."

Trixie's heart raced in fear on how he  was going to react. Midnight didn't do anything, he just stared at Trixie in her Purple eyes that shuned in beauty. For about half a minute, it was just them both staring at each other's eyes.

Midnight shook his head. " I'm sorry about my staring" Midnight said. "You just have amazing eyes."

Trixie blushed all over and her heart raced even more about him. "I-It's o-okay" Trixie said weakly. "Thank you."

Midnight smiled and sighed that she didn't freak about him staring.  Nurse called Midnight again.

"Excuse me" Midnight said.

"Go ahead" Trixie said softly.

Trixie's heart beated loudly that she could bearly hear the pound. "Sweet Celestia, he is dreamy" Trixie whispered softly hoping no one could hear, but a nurse was behind the bed and heard her.

"That's cute" The nurse said.

Trixie stopped and looked back to the nurse. She blushed knowing that she heard what she said.

"Huh? I didn't know you were there" Trixie said sheeply.

"Thats okay, i see you like him." The nurse said.

Trixie had to admit it, he made her heart flutter in excitement when she looks at him.

"Maybe a little." Trixie said blushingly. "i never felt like this before for somepony."

The nurse walked to the bed. "Hey i've seen you before" The nurse said in shock. "you were the one boasting on stafe making yourself a fool!"

Trixie teared up. "Yes, that was me" She said sadly. "I'm truly ashamed for what i did."

The Nurse rolled her eyes at her, "That's what they all say."

Trixie weeped softly, "No, i-i am ashamed!" Trixie said as she started crying.

The Nurse came to her, "I'm sorry i said that" The nurse said as she hugged Trixie "I didn't knew you actually meant it."

Trixie wiped her tears, as the nurse walked away from her a bit. "Don't cry my dear" The nurse said concerned on what she did.

"No, i-it's fine, i-i understand why you thought that" Trixie said sniffingly. "i know what i did was wrong."

"My name is Nurse Blue Crystal." The nurse said as an apology conversation.

"My name is Trixie, you might already know about that." Trixie said sniffingly.

"I see you like Midnight" Blue Crystal said as she move the empty food plate. "he's been part of the clinic ever since he was a little colt, saving lives and delivering our medicine."

"He sounds like a hero" Trixie said trying to continue the conversation.

"He is, i don't know what we would of done without him." Blue Crystal said.

"Excuse me" Trixie said wanting her cape because she became emotionaly attached to it since it's all it reminds her of her mother love. "but do you know were my purple cape is?"

The Nurse nodded as she walked to a closet in the room. She grabbed her cape and hat as she handed it to Trixie.

"Thank you" Trixie said happily as she cuddled to her cape that her mother gave her.

"So Trixie" Blue Crystal said trying to see what she is going to do next. "are you going to ask him to dinner? Not to be part of your business."

Trixie didn't actually thought of asking Midnight Moon anything. Trixie didn't anything at all of what she was going to do.

"Umm...well...i" Trixie stuttered as she played with the end of her mane blushing.

"I'll leave you to that." Blue Crystal said smiling as she leaves the room. Trixie was so concerned about what she did in the past in ponyville, she's not sure that he will say yes. She doesn't want to be rejected like she was in the past. Trixie went into a flashback. It was the the day she and her family ran away. She remembered her walking to town looking for a job to take care of her family.

"No, no, no, we are not taking little fillies like you work with us!" said the newspaper man.

"But sir, i need this job to take care of my family." Filly Trixie said looking at the Stallion with a adorable face to see if the man will say yes.

"No! Get out!" Screamed the Newspaper Man.

Trixie had a sad look and walked off to another place. She saw that the Circus was still there. She then had an idea of joining the Circus, to earn a few bits. She walked to the Circus and saw the Ring Leader talking to another Stallion.

"Then we will see you there" said the Stallion to the Ring Master.

"Yes, remember to bring the cannon and the confetti" The Ring Master said to the Stallion as he walks off.

Trixie walks up to the man. In awe that she is going to talk to him.

"Hello...umm...sir" Trixie started. The Ring Master scolded at Trixie an slowly walked backwards. "wait! I was wondering if i could join the Circus."

The Ring Master groaned and then sighed. "Look little filly" he said. "we are fine and we don't need a pathetic filly like you to interrupt our performance."

"But i know magic" Trixie said hurt after she walk told 'pathetic filly' "see?"

Trixie put her hat on and used her magic to pick up a rope and ropes up a hay bail. The Ring Master rolled his eyes.

"We don't need you" the Ring Master said as he walked away.

Trixie was in disappoint as she teared up for being rejected from every job. Trixie closed her eyes and took her hat off and puts it on her bag. She opens her eyes and sees a street performer. She gets an idea, she grabs a old carpet, she puts her hat on and clears her throat.

"Ladies and Gentlecolts! The Great an Powerful Trixie will now perform for you" Trixie says as she pops out firecrackers and creates illusions of lazers. Ponies gather aroun noticing the little filly creating magic and creating attention. Ponies trew money into her hoove steps. Trixie smiled as she finally found a talent she can master. After a few hours, she had enough money to get around for a while. A random pony points at Trixie.

"Look! She got her cutie mark!" the Pony said.

Trixie stopped and looks at her flank and a cutie mark pops out. Trixie smiled excitedly about her new cutie mark.

Trixie comes back from her flashback when then, Midnight appears through the door. Trixie now knows what she has to do.

"Umm...Midnight" Trixie said nervously.

"Yes Trixie?" Midnight said.

"Thank you" Trixie said sheepishly. "for saving my life, and for bringing me here."  Midnight smiled and nodded.

"I want to make up for it and take you to dinner." Trixie said hoping for a yes.

Midnight stopped with a shocked expression.

"Maybe after i recover and can come out." Trixie said to him as her heart pounds hard and fast hoping that he would not say no.

"I-i would be glad to!" Midnight said."err... I mean, sounds nice" Midnight said trying to act cool about it.

Trixie sighed in relieve that he said yes. One thing troubled Trixie, she had no money or a home.  She has bad publicity in ponyville so it would be nearly impossible.

"What do i do now?" Trixie asked herself. "i need to get things straight and move with this silly business"

"Miss Trixie!" said a nurse. " you have visitors".

"Now who could that be?" asked Trixie to herself. "i don't expect anyone".

Trixie's eyes darted whenever she saw the pony. Twilight.

"Sparkle!" Trixie said scared on what she would do to her. "what in Celestia's name are you doing here?"

Twilight came in the room with Rainbow Dash, Trixie gulped when she them.

"We heard you were here" Twilight said a bit worried. "what happened?"

Trixie didn't want to sound powerless but at the same time she wanted to apologize.

"As you may know, i ran from ponyville into the Everfree Forest to escape the shame of what i did." Trixie told the girls.

"You bet you did!" Rainbow Dash interrupted  Trixie in a threatening tone.

"Rainbow!" Twilight told to Rainbow Dash "be nice."

Rainbow Dash stomped her hooves without a word, Twilight looked at Trixie. She saw how beaten she was. She then looked at her in the face.

"When i ran off, i fell down but kept running. I think when i fell down i fracture my hind leg." Trixie said pointing at her broken leg.

"That sounds terrible  to experience" Twilight said being concered. "not to be nosy, but i read on what had happen to your family which made me more concerned."

Trixie looked at her in shock. "You did?" she asked her.

"Yes, your background was checked by Princess Celestia" Twilight said to her.

Trixie didn't know what to say or do, but to apologize.

"Look Sparkle. I'm really sorry for what i did in the past. " Trixie said hoping things can go right and things can go smoothly.

Twilight looked at Trixie in shock, not expecting an apology.

"She's a fake! She's lying! She is only saying that so we can fall for her trap!" Rainbow Dash blurted out making a Nurse to go over there and quiet down.

"Rainbow!" Twilight said angrily to Rainbow Dash.

"But-" Rainbow Dash said but interrupted by Twilight.

Trixie looked at them in shame. "I wanted a second chance." Trixie said looking down in shame. "but i guess i won't be getting another chance."

"You're speaking normally" Rainbow Dash asked a bit confused. "why?"

"I only did that to cause more attention" Trixie said. "but that didn't go as planned."

Rainbow Dash looked at her with an threatening look. Twilight walked to Trixie's X-rays and saw the broken leg.

"I forgive you Trixie, but i don't know about the rest." Twilight said looking at the X-ray. "i have a spell that can fix the injury."

"Wait, you have a spell that can fix things like that!? Why didn't you tell me before!?" Rainbow Dash said referring to the time she broke her wing.

"I've just learned the spell because Trixie's injury is worst." Twilight said as Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes.

Twilight sighed and then performed the spell on Trixie's leg. Rainbow Dash walked back as the spell glowed the entire room. Trixie felt a tingle on her leg. She could feel her leg again.

"Oh Thank you Sparkle!" Trixie said happily.

"Twilight would be nice." Twilight said to Trixie.

"Thank you, Twilight." Trixie said as she starts to notice that she might get her second chance.

"Now, Trixie what are you going to do next?" Twilight said curiously.

Trixie saw Midnight from a distance. She knew what she wanted to do next. Trixie smiled at Twilight.

"Well Twilight" said Trixie trying to get used of saying her name. "i do wish on starting all over and-" Trixie stopped.

"And what?" Twilight asked.

"Well, do you see that Stallion over there?" Trixie pointed to Midnight who was helping a Nurse with a patient.

"Who? Midnight?" Twilight said looking at Midnight.

"Yes." Trixie said. " he saves my life and i wanted to make it up by taking him out."

Twilight and Rainbow Dash looked at each other. A bit shocked that Trixie will want to do that.

"Did you ask him?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I did, but i don't have any money or a home." Trixie said hoping that they would help her out.

"Well..." Twilight said thinking of what she could do to help. "i'll see what i can do."

"You're very kind Twilight." Trixie said happy.

"Well we must get going" Twilight said as she and Rainbow Dash walked out of the room. When Rainbow Dash left the room, Twilight stopped.

"When you get out, meet me at the library." Twilight said as she had an idea.

Trixie sighed as she relieved her goal on starting all over and making a new home.

The Nurse came into the room.

"I heard you're all better, by tomorrow you'll be out and can get on with your new life." Nurse Blue Crystal said smiling.

"That is wonderful news Nurse." Trixie said to her.

Midnight walked in and saw the nurse taking the bandages off her leg.

"What went on since i was gone?" Midnight asked.

"Twilight came and fixed her injury!" Nurse said.

Midnight seemed happy about this.

"You saved another life Midnight." Trixie said to him.

"It seems i have." Midnight said.

The nurse told Midnight that they need to leave so Trixie could get her rest. Midnight agreed as they left the room.

"Well goodnight Sweet heart, we want to leave you to rest and tomorrow things can go better." The Nurse said.

The Nurse turned off the light and left the room. Trixie smiled knowing that things went better than expected.

"I hope things will get better, but all i can do right now is wait." Trixie said to herself as the lights went off.She was tired and couldn't wait to get out and start all over, the she feel in a deep, restful dream.
