What Lurks in the Shadows

Zelda gasped a shiver wiping down her spine

"What is it Zelda, is something wrong?" Sunset asks somewhat worried. She doesn't answer for a moment as if off in a trance "Oh y-yes everything is okay." She lies. They all stayed up till they where too tired to keep their eyes open and all fall asleep.

Zelda had woken up to find herself somehow in the Hyrule  again she was slightly curious as tho how she was here but didn't bother.  She was just glad to be home. Zelda was in the garden tending to the magnolia when a dark death like shadow cover the Hyrule courtyard "W-whats going on!" She shouted,  there was a eerie laugh then dead silence "Who's there!" Zelda shouts trying to sound brave but can't hide her fear running through her voice"Oh Zelda... Zelda my dear, why do you fear me..." The shadows then start to take the form of a man, of Link "L-Link?" "Oh no your majesty." the man said, "Not even close."   Zelda eyes widened and her  muscles stiffened as she realized who the man was.  "You! How are you here! I banished you along time ago!" She yelled once again "Theis is impossible" Dark laughed. "It's a secret.  Plus, you didn't banish me, your past generation did." He sailed as he grabbed her throat. "She was foolish to believe she could keep me locked away." He yelled. "All that I got from that was strength!  strength you'll NEVER have!!  Strength you'll NEVER understand.  I need you... " He said his voice was that from a horror story making Zelda more uneasy than she already was. " W-what!? L-let me go!" Zelda said her voice starting to crack and tears forming in het eyes. Dark held up his other hand to reveal a piece of the Tryforce glowing on his hand: Power. "I need you, so I can over power my brother, then, watch him suffer.  I will take everything he has, everything he loves!  Just as he did to me..."Zelda shot up like a rocket screaming, only to find herself in Sugar Cube Corner. Her throat was soar and it was hard for her to breathe Her cheeks where wet and she felt like she had just been punched in the gut. Her scream alarmed the others in the room who quickly got up to make sure her friends where alright. "Zelda what's wrong?"Link asked fearfully. "I-its him... D-Dark Link... h-he's back." Links eyes widen in fear. "How!" "I-I don't know but-" She was cut off by a curious and concerned Pinkie "Woah! Okay! Who's Dark Link" Midna spoke up. "All I know is that he is a powerful being. He came to my realm long before I was born. He destroyed The Twilli Realm killing the king and enslaving the people. My grate grate grandfather stood up to him creating a new realm that he was banished to in isolation. But the barriers where weak and he knew he would escape one day." Zelda placed a hand on her friend. "Midna I'm sorry. It's my fault Dark came to your realm. He tried to conquer Hyrule but one of my previous generations banished him to a place she believed he wouldn't be able to hurt  anyone, ever. She was wrong." "Wow thats depressing!" Pinkie said cheerfully trying to lighten the mood. "Link do you know anything?" There was no answer Pinkie looked around and Link was no where to be found. "Hey, where is he?" Emma replied "He's downstairs feasting on Pinkie's secret stash of whipped cream and ice cream cause' he feels guilty cause' he accidentally created Dark Link from his arrogance that came with his courage. Oh and Trixie is watching him through the window. "Wait!" Rainbow shouted. "Link created Dark Link!?" "Yup Emma replied." "No no no no whats more important is he's eating my whipped cream and ice cream!!!" Pinkie runs down the stairs taking them two at a time. Emma smiles..."Wait! Trixie!!" She growls. She reaches her hand into rainbows hair and pulls out a rainbow pistol "Wait!? Where!? What!?" Rainbow asks so very confused. Emma runs down the stairs breaks the glass with her fist and yells "TAST THE RAINBOW TRIXIE!" (plz make a fan art of that) Trixie shocked and confused tried to run but Emma pulled the trigger and fired skittles at Trixie. She ran trying to avoid the skittle bullets but failing. She threw a smoke bomb at her feet and when the smoke cleared, she was gone. "She's gone!" Pinkie gasped. Then Trixie falls off the roof "Nope there she is." Emma grins evilly "Is she dead!?" "Trixie's okay!" Emma's smile drops like Trixie did "Crap." Pinkie was now yelling at Link "You where eating my whipped cream and ice cream!!!" She looks at the container and gasps "My CHOCOLATE ice cream!!!!!!" Emma leans in close to Link "Run before Pinkamina kills you and uses your organs for her cupcakes." Link turns and runs opening the door to leave Sugar Cube Corner only to find himself is Trixie's arms he struggled to get free but she had him in a death grip. "HAHAHAHAHA sianara suckers she yells throwing another smoke bomb at her feet. Pinkie gasps "She's gone!!!" They all wait a few seconds. "She's really gone!!!" Pinkie yelled.
