Chapter 1: DeathFury

DeathFury was an oddball, not for his name but what he has, for being born an earth pony and wanting to fly. Which led him into making augmented metal wings on his body to give him the ability to fly. Thankfully, he had some help from the University of Canterlot in creating them as well as flying lessons to help him get used to it.Though he had some wing fails and bad prototypes, he finally got one that could work. His coat was a black color and his mane and tail a dark blue same as his eyes. He was an odd sight to behold for his wings could not go down due to being light steel, and to top it off, he had no cutie mark! Yes, none at all! All his life he had been trying to find out what it could be. But let’s push that aside and get on with the story no?

Now it was a normal day, well not really due to a storm coming in November. Fury was returning home from a day at work at the guard. For the weather Pegasi were preparing for a snowstorm for the city of Canterlot, so he as well as all the other ponies had to hurry home before it starts. Ponies were running left and right to prepare for the storm. Fury himself lives in the lower city of Canterlot, not where it is poor but where it is like middle class. As Fury hurry's home, he runs into Light Armor, a unicorn mare with forest green coat and a mild green mane and tail with a dark yellow streak down the middle. She is also part of the Equestrian Ranger army, Forest battalion.

“What a surprise the weather Pegasus has for us right?” joked Light.

Fury smiled at his best friend in greeting, “Yea, they are really bringing it this winter.” They continued chatting for a while before Fury decides it was time to go.

“Well it was nice to see you before the storm,” said Fury.

“Yes, hope you get home safe!” replied Light.

“You too.” Fury finished.

As his friend walks away, Fury continues on home down the almost empty streets. He was only a few blocks away from home when he heard a sound down a nearby alleyway.

“Hello?” he asked unsure if he should investigate. A small whimper and shivering could be heard from the alley. Fury slowly moves into the alley and what he finds there stuns him, it was a shivering Pegasus mare.

Now this is my first story don't be against me for trying. I was inspired by a few stories I have read from the past and I decided to make one of my own. Sorry for the short chapters that you may come across, I am trying what I can to make them longer.
