Chapter 2: Found

“Are you alright?” asked Fury. The mare was of average size, her coat was a dark grey and her mane and tail was black with a light red streak down the middle, her eyes were a rosy pink color and her cutie mark was a rose with red highlights and black filling.

Fury’s question fell on deaf ears due to the mare being asleep. As Fury further observes her, he finds that her left hind leg was strained at an odd angle. ‘Should I help her and take her in?’ pondered Fury. ‘she does not look too good.’ He finally decides to take her in. He tries to put her on his back so he can carry her home.

“Don’t worry, you’re safe now,” Fury says silently. The mare responds by shifting and with a groan.

Fury and the mare arrived at their destination, he unlocks the door to his apartment. His home is decent, it is of average size has 2 bathrooms one in the bedroom and one in the hallway, has a kitchen the main room is large compared to the rest of the apartment. Fury walks over to the couch in the main room and lays the mare down on it then he goes and gets a pillow and blanket from his room.

‘Shame to see her like this, why and how did she come to this?’
He turns up the heat in the apartment and puts and warm damp cloth over her head. Fury looks up at the clock for the time it showed 10:39.

“Well time for a rest from today.” He takes one more look at the mare asleep on the couch. Never did he see a small smile form on her face.
