This nameless stallion has had life pretty good for himself. He's had plenty of time to watch the animals in the forest dart to and fro, has the know-how to find his own food (and catch it if necessary), and he's had plenty of books to learn to read and write from. He's always dreamt of writing something amazing like the many books he's read (or attempted to read) and has aspired to leave his forest dwelling in search of greater things. However, being away from others for so long can lead to some rather odd situations and peculiar findings, especially when he thinks he can talk.
