Celestia was sitting on her Student's couch as she watched the mane six slowly arrive one by one, she had brought several dozen guards and was waiting for all the elements to arrive before teleporting to the massive vessel that was cleaving it's way through the sky. "So why are we waiting here for Fluttershy? She Is hiding under her bed when I told her what as happening" Rainbow dash said with a sigh just as Applejack entered gently pushing the timid butter Pegasus inside.

"Okay now that everypony is here we ca...." She was saying before a guard burst in.

"Princess!! The vessel has created a portal." He exclaimed as all the ponies ran outside to see that he wasn't lying, the princess was about say something until a pulse of white energy was created as the portal closed after the vessel, the pulse hit Ponyville and beyond but instead of harming any pony, it deactivated their magic, causing several Pegisi to crash into the ground and unicorns and earth ponies to stumble only for a brief moment until their magic returned.

"What the buck was that?" Rainbow exclaimed as she picked herself up off the ground.

"I don't know but look" twilight said pointing her hoof at a dark green object slam into the Everfree forest.

"Guard you to go to the barracks in Ponyville and round up more guards" the princess ordered as she received a nod an the guard flew off.

After about an hour, roughly 50 heavily armoured guard ponies arrived just as a small white filly came running towards Rarity. "Sweetie what's wrong?" She asked.

"Help..... The crusaders..... Manticore Nest..... Taming cutie mark.... Danger" she said between puffs.

"What?! Princess we can worry about the object later, right now we have to save the crusaders" Rarity said which she receive a nod and the large group headed off.

Location - Everfree, Pelican crash site (20 minutes earlier)
Status - Wounded
ODST's Orders - Seek medical attention.

A beeping was the first thing that alerted Anthony that he was still alive, he opened his eyes slowly to see that his visor was heavily cracked but not broken open, he looked at his HUD and saw that there was some movement on his motion tracker, he then checked his health monitor which was flashing, telling him that he was injured 'no shit' he thought as he tried to move his left arm but grunts in pain before checking it with his right to see that his shoulder was dislocated, he then looked down at his legs and noticed a large shard of the pelican's windscreen sticking out just above his right knee, he looked to the blast door and saw it was open which caused him to sigh in relief at the thought that he wasn't trapped inside the burning wreckage.

He began to drag himself towards the first aid kit that wa under one of the seats and opened it before he pulled out a morphine injector, bandages, a biofoam canister and a shoulder brace before he uncliped his shoulder and chest plate and using as much force and care as he could, relocated his shoulder causing him to cry out before he attached the brace and reattached his armour before he moved to his leg.

He remove his helmet before placing a magnum magazine in his mouth and yanked the shard out before liking the wound with biofoam and removed his foreleg armour. He injected his leg before he felt around his knee. "Shit need to brace this" he muttered before looking in the first aid kit to find a brace only to be disappointed when he didn't find one so he bandaged his leg before looking around for something to use as a splint, finding a case under a seat, he pulled it out to find a sniper rifle so working fast, he used all his strength to unlock the barrel and unscrew it only to reattach his armour and tie the barrel to his armoured leg with rope from his rucksack.

After fixing himself up, he pulled himself to his feet with a winch and grunt before grabbing his shotgun, DMR and modified Sniper rifle before pulling on his helmet and went investigating the movement with his DMR in hand As he limped out of the wreck he heard a scream nearby, the scream sounded like a little girl so without thinking a second longer, Anthony forced his body to move as fast as possible through the forest, soon he arrived at a clearing only to find two knee high ponies shaking in fear as several large bat winged lions with scorpion tails cornered them, 'shit they need my help... But they aren't human... Fuck it' he argued with himself before stepping out if the bush and taking aim, moments later he fired a single round, tearing into the first abomination's throat, almost decapitating it before he took aim at another before blasting it square in the chest but before he had an aim on the next, the beasts charged him, only for him to swap to his shotgun and begin firing until his gun was empty and one of the beast's bite down on his shoulder, the creatures were shoulder height to him.

He grunted, still effected by the painkillers as he punched hard into its throat, crushing it, before ripping the suffocating beast off him and drawing his 8 inch chemically sharpened combat knife and stabbed it through another's skull like a knife through butter before withdrawing the blade and looked at the last two creatures before throwing the knife into ones head and drew his sawn off Sniper rifle and emptied a round into the remaining creature, aiming for it he's but hitting it's torso an splitting the creature in two.

As he retrieved his knife, he noticed a wound in his thigh with purple fluid pouring out causing him to turn and see one of the creatures tail's oozing the same liquid "fuck I got poisoned" he grumbled as he sheathed his knife and looked at hi torn up shoulder and groaned. "So much for the shoulder brace" he muttered before looking over at the fillies and seeing that they were looking at him in both fear and awe which in reply he simply waved before stumbling slightly. The two cautiously approached him before stopping as the Princess of the sun, elements of harmony and lots of guards burst through the bushes only to stop an look in shock at the scene of the clearing.

"What the Buck?!" One of the guards asked as all eyes turned to the bloodied, wounded giant that was using a tree to hold himself up. Before anyone could react, Fluttershy was already upon him, checking his injuries with a worried expression.

"You poor thing" she said placing a hoof on his hand.

"Poor thing? Fluttershy if you hadn't noticed, all the dead bucking Maticores." Rainbow dash said.

"I'm sure he had a good reason, even if he did kill then" she said softly as she looked up at the damaged visor.

"He did, he came out of the bushes an rescued us" scootaloo exclaimed causing all eyes to look at her then back at the giant which had dropped to its knees.

"Oh dear he is loosing a lot of blood and is poisoned" Fluttershy said as Anthony unslung his bag and pulled a canister before sticking the hose end of the canister into his shoulder.

"What the hay is he doin' ?" Applejack asked moments before foam filled the wound causing several of the ponies to move closer to investigate.

"It's some sort of medical foam" Fluttershy said pressing a hoof against some foam that was sticking oh I his shoulder plate. "It's spongy a absorbent" she studied before looking at the canister that he simply discarded. "Bio Foam?" She read off the canister before looking back at the marine before back at the canister "designed to clot bleeding, inflate collapsed lungs, lock around damage joint an more, recommended to replace every 30 minutes" she read as all the ponies had gotten a little too close to him and he rose to his full height which a this point Fluttershy notice the splint and the hole in his leg before turning back to the ponies giving them a glare. "Don't crowd him, he is wounded you never over crowd a wounded creature" she said making most of the ponies look at we in shock before they backed up, save for the princes who moved closer to him an inspected his injuries.

"I am quite surprised you are still standing with those injuries and with manticore venom pumping in your veins, but anyway I must thank you or not only saving these two young ponies but also saving the Crystal Kingdom" she said warmly as he simply nodded.

"It's what I do" he said before looking around and back at the guards then at the princess, then back the fillies "how can your young so easily get into a place of great danger?" He asked .

"It's because that the Everfree forest is a untameable land that no matter how much we try, something always stops our builders from making walls" she sighed before she looked back at her ponies then at him. "I believe this conversation would be better if we spoke at the hospital so you can get fixed up" she said getting a nod from Anthony as her horn glowed and in a flash of light all the ponies were gone leaving the ODST alone in the dark forest.

"Figures" he grumbled before he began limping in a random direct to find shelter.

Location - Ponyville, Hospital
Status - calm.

Celestia sighed as they finished teleporting only to see that the creature wasn't with them which caused her to panic which she hid under her mask.

"Princess, where is the creature?" Fluttershy asked worried.

"I don't know I used a spell to take everypony to..... I am a buckin idiot" she said face hoofing.

"What Princess?" Asked her student.

"I used a spell to only transport ponies to save energy but in doing so I left the creature behind and I can't teleport back as thanks to the Everfree's magic it mucks up teleporting in. She sighed, silently fuming that she bucked up their probably only chance to learn from a alien species and simply left it to bleed to dead in the accursed forest.

"Well we have to go find him" Fluttershy exclaimed.

"We can't it will be night soon." She said making the butter Pegasus sigh.

Location - Everfree forest, several miles away from previous location (three hours later)

ODST's Orders - Survive

Anthony was sitting in a cave quite far away from the crash site as he removed his helmet and replace the biofoam before he set up a fire and opened one of his cans of beans and pork and slowly ate while keeping an eye on the mouth of the cave, he hadn't encounter nothing else except a stray deer or rabbit but no other predators which meant they were stalking him or they were hiding from him, which he was hoping for the latter as his morphine had run out and he left the injector at the pelican.

He was beginning to relax when he heard soft clops at the entrance if the cave causing him to whip hi head around and look at a large malnourished bug pony, it's forelegs and horn were riddled with holes and it had an aqua mane and tail as it stopped and looked at the man. "Sorry I didn't know this cave was occupied" it said with a soft tired feminine voice.

"It's fine, come in before you attract predators" he said which she nodded in thanks before walking over and laying across from him, she began looking him over and winched at his wounds.

"I'm I hope you don't take offended to this but, how the buck are you still alive?" She asked.

"Pure will power" he said with a smile "so how did you know I could talk?" He asked.

"Oh well I have been following since you stumbled out if your vessel" she said sheepishly.

"Right and why?" He asked

"Because I thought that we could be friends? And that I could heal you if you do something for me?" She asked making him raise an eyebrow.

"And whats this favour?" He asked a she moved closer to him.

"If you give me some of your love" she said with a soft hopeful look.

"Why?" He asked skeptically

"Because changelings need love to survive and all my children sacrificed themselves to allow me to survive " she said wit a frown that threatened to change into her crying.

"Will it do anything bad to me?" He asked which caused her to shake her head.

"No it won't, even though everypony say that it drains their life, it simply makes one a little tired an that's only if I take all your love" she said as she moved closer.

"Um okay but any funny business and your dead" he said pressing his magnum against her sternum.

"Deal" she said liking a spot on his neck, numbing it. "Even though I numbed the spot, it may hurt a little when I bite into you" she said waiting for him to respond which was by him nodding. "Thank you" she said gently as she could bit into his neck making him winch as she use her magic to siphon his magic only to pull away a few moments later with a grown and lay her head in his lap.

"What is it not to your liking?" He asked getting a soft chuckle from her as the holes on her body filled up.

"Far from it, I think I may have over fed" she said as she nuzzled his lap gently. "Thank you" she said before he horn began to glow a faded green, an aura of the same colour formed around Anthony and a surge if pain rushed through his body as his wounds began to seal themselves, leaving scars in their place.

"I guess we are even now" he said with a chuckle a her horn glowed for a second time as a barrier formed around around the entrance of the cave.

"Maybe but you are now my friend and only friend so I am not gonna let you go unlike the others I have in the past" she said looking up at the man with mismatched eyes and red hair.

"Seems fair enough" he said stroking her mane gently, "my name is Anthony but you can call me Tony" he said

"My name is Chrysalis but you can call me Chrys."
