Tony groaned as he awoke, he had managed to fall asleep the night before due to his sheer exhaustion as he looked around the cave, the fire had gone out hours ago and the only light was that of the sun which was tinted green by a wall of slime, he then felt a shift of weight on his lap to which he looked down to see the changeling that pretty much saved his life and stalked him the night before, asleep and purring slightly on his lap, he didn't remember her moving to sit more of her body on him but right now he didn't honestly care as he stroked his hand down her side making her shiver and crack open one of her green slotted eyes to look at him to which she smiled and nuzzled him before getting up. "Morning" she said softly as Tony removed the metal splint from his leg and rose to his feet.

"Hey how did you sleep?" He asked a he cleaned the barrel and reattached it to the sniper rifle.

"Better then I had in years" she said here her stomach growled.

"Need more love?" He asked as she shook her head.

"No this time I need actual food" she said as she her horn glowed and the slime wall fell away.

"Well I got some protein bars if that helps?" He asked pulling out two bars for one of his pouches which she accepted ate not really caring about to dull flavour. So where to now?" He asked as he munched on his own.

"Well probably a border town as Changelings are not that accepted in the inner towns and cities of Equestria, and also I don't think most would be to happy to meet a space alien, unless the want to cut you open and see how you tick" she said with a shudder.

"Okay well we better get moving before they come looking for me" he said as he grabbed his helmet and put it on before he walked over to the changeling. "Shall we?" He asked gesturing the entrance.

"Yes." She replied grabbing his hand with her mouth an teleporting them both.

Equestria
Location - Border Town 'Sanctuary'
Status - under attack by feral Dragon
ODST's Orders - Protect Town.

As the two teleported into the town, all they heard were screams and a loud roar causing the two look at a massive green and gold dragon laying siege to the mixed species town, Chrys was about to teleport the two away before Tony stepped forward an raised his 50 caliber sniper rifle. "Tony are you insane?" She asked.

"Maybe" he said before firing the remaining three rounds in his clip, each slammed into the dragon and easily tore through its scales causing it to cry out in pain as one of the bullets sliced through a tendon on it left wing making the wing fall limp, the second tore into its neck, puncturing it's flame sac as molten liquid spewed from its neck and the last took off a chunk of it's lower jaw. The dragon looked in rage as shock at the black figure who was reloading it's rifle.

The dragon's throat muscles expanded as it prepared to breath fire, only for it to cry out as it's flame sac spewed flames from its neck moments before a series of four bangs went off as the ODST fired again, the first slicing through it's knee cap, causing the beast to fall to the ground as the second took off one of its horns, the third drove itself into it's neck above it's flame sac and punctured it's windpipe, filling it with blood and finally the fourth round drove through it's eye, and slicing into it's brain, killing the beast. "But I have killed bigger" he said reloading before turning to face his shocked friend.

"How is your weapon so powerful?" She asked.

"This is a Anti - Material rifle which is designed to punctured three inches of titanium, combined with bullets which are just smaller then your horn that are designed to penetrate armour before detonating, this Dragon didn't really stand a chance." He said slinging the rifle over his shoulder before walking to the Dragon and looked at the grizzle ooze from where its eye was, I general the dragon wasn't that much bigger then a covenant Liche. He crouched down and plucked one of its scale and inspected it, it was less then a inch thick.

"Um excuse me?" A voice asked from behind him causing him to turn to find a pony mare with a dark brown coat, a tie, reading glasses, her mane was a like green and her fur was a reddish pink colour. "I just wanted to thank you for saving our town from this dragon, he was plaguing us for years demanding our treasure" she said which simply got a nod in reply.

"It's what I do" he said before looking at Chyrs who was surrounded by Guards in dented black armour.

The mare followed his gaze and gulped before looking at Tony "dot worry about her we shall de.... " she was saying before his gaze turned to he making her gulp.

"You shall not harm my friend" he said causing her to nod swiftly before she ordered the guards to stand down. "Why didn't your princess help deal with this threat?" He asked

"Simply because there is roughly twenty ponies in this town off one hundred and we don't really have anything of value to Equestria so he doesn't bother" she sighed.

"Well it seems that you don't have much in the way of protection" he said.

"Will you please protect us? We will let you and your friend live here in peace" she begged the man who looked at Chrys then back at the mare.

"Okay but we are gonna have to set up this town properly" he said looking around the town briefly, it wasn't all that big and had little to no defences. He was cut off from his observing as a pair of reddish pink legs wrapped around his neck and hugged him.

"Thank you" she said before letting go as straightening her coat "any way I am Mare Sweetheart and welcome to Sanctuary" she said.

"My name is Tony and this is Chrys " he said as the changeling walked over and stood next to him, she was almost a tall as him.

"I'll show you to a house that is designed for a minotour since you are bipedal and as tall as one" she said before looking at the corpse. "What are we gonna do with that?" She muttered

"I recommend stripping it, craving it up and using it's bones and flesh to make better armour, weapons and buildings" Tony said making the mare turn green for a second before nodding and gesturing for some of the mixed species guard to go do what he said.

As the three walked, Tony and Chrys were getting plenty of looks from the populace, they passed many Minotours, Griffions, Diamond dogs and ponies as they walked, soon arriving at a large run down two story house.

"Well here it is, sorry about the condition, we were more worried about not being dragon food then having pretty houses... Oh and by the way the dragon's hoard beneath the town is now yours due to Dragon law" she said which got a shrug from the marine.

"I won't need it, you take most of it and maybe bring the rest to this house?" He asked getting a happy nod from the mare before she left, leaving the two to enter the house.

"Your too nice, you should have taken all of it" Chrys said as she laid on a couch.

"And what? Make a bad impression? No I wanted them to be comfortable with us" he said sitting down next to the changeling and removed his helmet. "Besides they need the money to help rebuild their town." He said as she laid her head on his lap.

"Makes sense I guess but do we just live here for the rest of our lives?" She asked him making him chuckle.

"No but just for now as it's a place as we aren't anywhere near the inner towns." He said scratching behind her ears gently.

"And what's gonna stop them from reporting us?" She asked.

"Well I just gave the town most of this dragons hoard after I blew it's brains out" he chuckled.

"Fair point" she replied before taking a nap on him. He simply chuckled softly a he stroked her side as a loud knock was hear from the front door causing him to get gently lift her head off his lap and lay it back down before heading to the front door with his helmet on and opened the door to find 7 seven foot tall dragon man in plate armour, his scales were black and neon blue with red eyes as he looked at the ODST.

"Are you the one who killed my kin?" The dragon asked as Tony nodded and reached for his magnum. "Good, then I am here to thank you and bring you the bounty." He said confusing the human.

"Wait what?" He asked confused as two shorter dragons placed a large chest down near the door.

"The dragon you defeated was wanted by my people for murdering his fellow dragon outside of battle, he had a bounty in his head for several thousand bits." He said gesturing the chest.

"Um I'm not interested in the money, if you want, you can give it to this town to help it rebuild." He said making the dragon chuckle.

"Noble, alright but I have a favor to ask of you Alien." He said getting a nod from Tony. "There are hundreds of wanted criminals and monster in the no man's land near this town... Bring back their heads or if they are a dragon, their fire crystals which are found at the back of the throat and you shall be rewarded along with this town." He said offering his hand to seal the deal.

"Sure but I will need ammunition" he said making the dragon raise an eyebrow.

"Well if you give us one of your ammunition we shall replicate it for a deduction of the bounty you earn" he said in which Tony nodded and pulled out a magazine for his DMR, his Sniper Rifle an his Magnum and then grabbing a shotgun shell and handing it to the dragon who looked at the items before nodding. "We shall be in touch, just deliver the items to the blue and green Dragoness in the market place" he said before he left with his kin an the chest.

"Well shit" Tony muttered before closing the door and returning to the lounge room to find Chrys on the floor on her back snoring cutely. "I don't even know" he said shaking his head before going to pick up the changeling and grunting at her weight. "The fuck?" He asked no one in particular before taking a deep breath an lifting her before carrying her slowly to one of the rooms to put her to bed.

"Well isn't this romantic?" She asked causing him to look down at her a she was in a bridal position.

"How long have you been awake for?" He grunted as he laid her on the bed.

"Since you first attempted to pic me up, I thought it was cute and I didn't want to ruin it" she said with a smile as she grabbed his hand with her forehooves.

"What are you doing?" He asked as she yanked him with incredible strength onto the bed.

"I can only sleep comfortably with you around so your staying right here" she playfully growled as her legs wrapped around him pulling him down closer to her.

"Well can I at least remove my armour first?" He asked making her blush.

"I want to just cuddle not rut" she said making him blush.

"I have underclothes on you know" he said as she released him.

"Sorry I'm use to ponies and other races not wearing thing under their armour" she said as he got off the bed and began to remove his armour, when he was halfway done, Chrys looked at his torn uniform. "I think you need new clothes" she said getting a nod from him as he removed the armour on his right arm to show that it was a prosthetic limb. "What happened to your arm Tony?!" She asked as she moved to him to inspect it.

"Well on my first mission my team and I had to eliminate a threat that was present in a warehouse, low and behold it was a pair 9 foot tall worm infested creatures that was covered in armour that was dubbed a hunter, one of its arms a type of powerful beam weapon ad the other is a thick metal plate. So anyway we attack, we kill one before the other knocks me down and stomps down on my right arm, crushing it... I got this replacement soon after so I could continue fighting" he said as he finished removing his armour before getting into the bed only to be grappled by the changeling again who nuzzled his neck. "You really like doing that don't you?" He asked.

"Of course, who else am I gonna show all my affection to?" She asked making Tony chuckle as he put his fake arm around her and prepared to rest when he hear his datapad go off, he got up of the bed and checked it only to see that there was a signal being transmitted from the mountains. "What's wrong?" She asked as she watched him put his damaged armour on an grab his shotgun and DMR.

"I picked up a UNSC signal and I'm going to go investigate" he said heading for the front door before he heard hoof steps behind him.

"I'll come and support you if there is danger" she said which she received a nod in reply as they headed out to see a large group of black armoured bat winged ponies with their spears aimed at Tony while a midnight blue Pony with a horn and wings stood proud in light blue armour, he mane an tail flowed in invisible wind.

"Alien, Queen Chrysalis thou are under arrest" she stated a she stepped forward an inspected Tony moments before he slammed the but of his rifle into her cheek and pulled her into a headlock an used her as a meat shield with his magnum to her neck. "Release us beast!" He demanded as he guards move closer only for them to cry out as he fired his magnum into the sky.

"Order your lackies to get lost as I have a job to do" he said as he looked to Chrys and nodded before she nodded back.

"Never worm, Guards Kill them" she demanded before Tony slammed his pistol into her temple knocking her out before they vanished in a flash of green light.
