Story is told from narrator's POV.

CHAPTER 2

As Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Hikari, and I walk out of Everfree Forest, I saw two more mares coming towards us.

One had a pink mane and tail; her body was a lighter shade of pink; and her cutie mark was three balloons. The pony looked like she had extreme ADHD, because she was jumping up and down, instead of walking.

The second one looked like she was western. Her body was orange; her mane and tail were blond, and both were put into ponytails; and she wore a cowboy hat. Her cutie mark was three red apples.

I look at Twilight and said, "Who are those two?"

Twilight replied, "They're friends of mine. The orange one is Applejack, and the pink one is Pinkie Pie."

I looked at Pinkie Pie, 'I just hope that she is not going to jump at me.' I thought to myself.

When they got close to us, Applejack saw me and growled. Then did the same thing as Rainbow Dash, but this time I got knocked out.

(Dream)

Before I move to Okeechobee, Florida, I used to live in Grants Pass Oregon.

I was driving my way home, when I saw a teen girl, sitting on the side of the curb. I pull off to the side of the road. The girl looked like a biker, but she didn't not have a bike with her.

The girl's hair was striped with red and yellow; her skin was light amber; she wore a leather jacket over a magenta shirt, and an orange skirt with a light yellow, and pink stripe; and she had black boots, with purple flame designs.

I roll down my front passenger window and said “ do need a ride somewhere? “

She looked at me and said, "I just need a ride to Walmart I need to meet up with my friends. I walk around this town and got lost I need help to get back to them.”

“Sure I can give you a ride there just get in and I will take you there.” I said to her

She got in my 1999 Buick regal and put on her seat belts. Off we went to Walmart

"Hey, I never got what your name was?" I asked the girl.

"Oh sorry, I'm Sunset Shimmer. What's your name?" Sunset asked.

"I'm Kelly Goodwind." I replied.

After few minutes I just pull up to Walmart and drop her off to meet up with her friends.

“It was nice meeting you, Sunset. I hope we meet again some time in the future. “ I said

“ Me too.” She replied.

(Real World)

I woke up and got up to walk up to the orange mare, and hit her in the face. I will not hit girls, or in this case mares, but if they hit me first then I will hit them back

"What was that for?! I did nothing wrong to anyone.” I yelled.

Applejack said to me in an angry voice “ because you are a monster and I just wanted to protect my friends.”

“I not a monster! I am a human that came into this world!" I shouted, "And hell knows how long I'm gonna be here. I was just walking around my town, in my world, when a strange rainstorm came out of nowhere. I could not see,and the next thing I know, I'm here. I was walking around, when I heard crying for help. When I got there Hikari was stuck under a rock on her tail, so I went and helped her. I finally got her clam down, cause she thought I was a monster as well." I explained, "Then Sunset came, and boy was she shocked to see a human in Equestria, more specifically one she knew. Next Twilight and Rarity show up, but before I could explain anything to them, Rainbow Dash here, swoops in and attacks me. And when I wake up, you come up to me and buck me, and knock me out."

They all nodded in agreement expect applejack and pinkie pie

“Oh..." applejack looked down in shame, "I'm really sorry about that." She then looked back at me, "So do you want to be friends? “ I said to Applejack

“I'll accept your friendship, just don't kick me again.” I said.

"I want to be your friend." The pink one said to me.

“ how about you ?” I asked Applejack

She nodded “ great my name Kelly Goodwin but you can call me Kelly if you all want I sorry for punching you when someone hit first I feel I had to hit back but I do not hit mares if they hit me first without a reason ok. “ I said to them all nodded

“ my name is Applejack I work on sweet apple acres and this here pinkie pie she a best party pony in town.” Appreciate said to me

I just nodded.

I said “ let's go to Fluttershy cottage and I need to dry my clothes.” That when Rarity speak up “ I can do that for you all I need is your measurement and I can make new ones for free of charge because I see you as a friend in need.” I look at Rarity and said, “thank you, you are generous. “

“Thank you rarity. thank you all for not being afraid of me and being my friend.” I say with a smile

They nod. While we walk in the forest sunset shimmer walk up beside me and we started to talk to each other unknown others around us they didn't know that sunset and i already meet before.

“I know that you were in my universe and i pick you give yo a ride to a store to meet your friend “ i whisper in sunset ear

Sunset Shimmer eyes went wide then whisper back “how did you know it was me in your world ?”

I whisper back “my head hurt when you appear in the middle of the forest i know right away I didn't say anything at first i want to wait for us to be alone before I say anything to you.”

We arrive to fluttershy cottage we see note on the door we walk up to the door and hiraki start to read the note

note: to those who read this i am out and in meeting with mayor and princess be back soon. Fluttershy

Hiraki took key out of one plant plot and unlock the door everyone walk in the cottage I stay outside look up in the sky, breathe in the fresh air I then i saw smoke in the sky i run to where smoke I stop at what looks like a town hall for the town I am in.

One pony yell “we need to get the princess and mayor out of the building before the building come down “

I run in the building look for the mayor's office I don't I get hurt or die if that means if those two live, as I look for the mayor’s office the smoke got thick and hard to breathe. I finally found the office I kick the door down and see mayor (her far is light brown with gray mane and tail and her cutie mark is a scroll) lay on the ground try to get fresh air and pony look like an alicorn (the alicorn far is pink and her mane and tail pink lavender and yellow and her cutie mark is crystal heart)did the same thing like the mayor I sigh pick them up and run out of the office and through the hallway then out of the building then put them down all the ponies cheers and stomp their hooves on the ground as I walk back to the cottage

As i walk in fluttershy and hikari cottage everypony run up to me with an angry look on their face

“Were where you last time we saw you you were standing outside next thing you run off to celestia who know what “ sunset said with tears in her eyes

I sigh then say “i was i saw smoke in the sky so i check it out the town hall was on fire so i run in and save mayor and a pink alicorn by the way fluttershy was outside when the building was on fire “

Just then fluttershy walk in the cottage she saw me then run up to me and hug me and cry on my chest said while her face in my chest “thank you for saving mayor mare and princess cadence”

“No problem i will do anything to make sure that everypony is saved.” I say

I know that twilight work in the library then ask her “may I borrow some books on laws on this land and history too so i know” with in second twilight make two books appear one is the law of the and history of equestria

I know now two ponies names that i save. I look at sunset and ask her “can you please send a letter and ask her to come here so i can talk with her and see if she can send me back to my world. Don't get me wrong i like being here I have friends and family back in my world.”

Sunset nod, we all can see tears in sunset eyes twilight whisper in sunset ear “what wrong sunset “

Sunset whisper back “I finally see kelly again it has been 4 years now that he wants to go back to his world i won’t see again”

Twilight nod in understanding. I had a feeling why sunset head tears in her eyes so i walk to sunset and whisper in sunset ear “i will also see that we can still be in touch with each other if that work for you” sunset look at me happy then grab paper and pen then start to write then she sent the letter to the princess while Fluttershy and i cook dinner.

Celestia is in her bedroom getting ready for bed just as she getting in bed a letter appear and land on the bed she pick the letter up and start to read the letter she gasp shock

Dear Princess Celestia

Today a human appear in the Everfree Forest he save a mare name hikari then he meet me and my others friends he is nice human and he save mayor mare and princess cadence while the town hall on fire he didn’t care for his safety now he is looking help for you to send him back to his world if you allow it is there any way for kelly and me stay in contact when he is back in his world

Your student sunset shimmer and twilight sparkle

Princess Celestia reread the letter again to make sure that she is reading it right while Celestia is reading the letter her sister princess luna walk in the room

“Sister what you worry it is just a letter from your students?” Princess Luna said while smiling

Celestia look at her sister then say “ read this then you will know why i am worried for our little ponies.”

Celestia giver luna the letter. Luna uses her magic take the letter from her sister then began to read the letter then she have a shock look on her face then luna face turn to a sad look

Celestia hug her sister and rub Luna back with her left wing and say with worry in her voice “LuLu what wrong why are you sad “

Luna said with tears in her eyes, “ I was the one who sent kelly because i was in his world want to see him again he was going to be hit by wagon in his world when it when is raining hard where he can’t see so i use my magic and send him here now he will hate me “

Celestia rub luna back say “ calm down he wouldn’t hate you for saving his life, he might be glad that you save his life luna”

“ ok sister, are you going to reply to your students and if so what are you going to say ?” Princess Luna ask

“Yes and we’ll first thank him for saving one of our little ponies and we will be at fluttershy cottage first thing in the morning.” celestia say as she writes the letter back to her students

( back to kelly P.O.V.)

As we eat dinner Sunset horn started to glow then a scroll drop land in front of sunset she set it aside wait to read it until we are done eating

“This is best fruit salad I never had this kind of salad before when I get back to my world I will make this for dinner almost every day “ I said after I finish eating

After we ate our dinner and as fluttershy and hiraki wash the dishes sunset open the scroll and began to read it

Dear my faithful student Sunset Shimmer and twilight

It came to my attention that a human is in Equestria. I know you said it is friendly but I must ask you and your friends keep an eye on him treat him as a threat because I believe that he would harm you and the rest of my subjects. Princess Luna and myself will see him in the first morning. Also thank him for me for saving two of my little ponies .

Your teacher and princess

After sunset read this she speak up ‘ we know that you are kind want to help every pony that need it we gonna make sure that you are safe until you meet with the princesses and i am going to sleep here tonight”

After we eat our dinner rarity applejack pinkie pie rainbow and twilight say their goodbyes and back to their homes and hikari fluttershy sunset and me getting ready for bed sunset and i lay down in the living room sunset took the couch and i took the floor

“Why don’t you lay down with me laying on the floor is uncomfortable” sunset say with a smile on her face

“Thanks I will join you in second i am going outside to get fresh air and to think “ i say with tears in my eyes

“Ok take your time “ sunset say still smiling

I walk outside and I breathe in and out and thinking unknown to me my thoughts is like a prayer here in equestria * I wish I could go home *

Next thing i know i was being hug from behind I look over my right shoulder i see that sunset is hugging me with a sad smile on your face

“ you seem sad what wrong ? “ sunset ask me
“I just miss my family “ i say

“It will be ok you will see them again trust me “ sunset say to me with a smile

As sunset hugging me a navy blue alicorn with a crescent moon on her black spot as her cutie mark appear with a look that she have to break bad news to somepony her head was lower and her ears flat against her head. Sunset look at this alicon then bow down and she pull me down with her

“Princess Luna what are you doing here shouldn't you be in canterlot?” sunset ask

“Well i here to tell this human something really important that will change forever “ princess Luna said while looking at me with tears in her eyes

“What is it so i can go back to my world * I say it little hardly

Both sunset and princess Luna took shock at my tune at princess i don't care I need some answers .

Princess Luna lower her head and sighed sadly “no there is no way for you to get back to your own world i am so sorry for taking you away from your friends and family you are stuck here for the rest of your days”

I look at princess luna in shock I don't know what to say or do, I just stand there trying to figure out what to do now i finally manage to say with a shaking voice “ what now where i am going to stay how can i earn money? If you going to say you’ll help me i don’t mind but i want to work to to show you that I am friendly “

Princess luna smile ‘ thank you but you have to wait until tomorrow where you and my sister can talk for your living plans and I am glad that you save my ponies i see you as a friend so please call me Luna, before i leave i may not be princess of love but I can tell that you love sunset shimmer so please don't break her heart.” I nod with that princess luna left me and sunset alone to our thoughts

Sunset looks at me with a sad smile and say “lets get some sleep so we will be ready for Princess celestia tomorrow. If you want you can sleep with me “ I nod and walk inside and lay down on the floor with sunset cuddle up to me and we fall asleep.
