Chapter 2 The Awkward Meeting

When the door opened I was greeted with a tired looking baby dragon when he looked up to me I could see one definite emotion he’s so sleepy it’s adorable so I reached into my pouch and pulled out some sun obsidian this should help him rest I bent down to his level and presented him with the stone and his eyes immediately lite up so he grabbed it and gobbled it up in seconds giving out a small burp of satisfaction “I have come to see Miss Twilight Sparkle can you bring me to her” I spoke softly so I don't shock him into being fully awake. He yawned and responded “ sure come on in” he opened the door wider so I could step in and right before I could take off my cloak he yelled “TWILIGHT YOU HAVE A VISITOR hey what was that stone it was delicious”

I stopped and didn’t speak for a moment to let my ears stop ringing then I replied “ It's called shadow obsidian and before you have a heart attack it's just regular obsidian not that king sombra stuff” I ended in a small smile but before he replied I spotted a purple hoof in my peripherals “ And I assume you are princess Twilight Sparkle it's a pleasure” I said to the silent mare behind me and turned giving a bow “Yes i am and who are you and what business do you have here” she said in a sour attitude. Im guessing that she just got out of bed from the way her mane looked as if it was caught in a tornado at which I couldn't help crack a smile at which she noticed and gave me a silent glare “ do you want me to tell you now or after you freshen up “ when I said that she looked at the window next to us and from what I can tell ran upstairs faster than a dragon with its tail being bitten off “Do ya want to remove your cloak and get comfortable it may take a minute or two” I remembered that my face was covered and they could barely see my… well anything “ I would be delighted too my dear dragon” I trotted over to the coat rack and removed my hood first showing him my red and black mane and horn then using my magic levitated the rest of me and onto the rack exposing my wings I took a glance back at spike who had a wide eyed dropped jaw look so I fluttered my wings just for effect “Like the show dude?” I saw him shake his head and blush heavily from what I think is embarrassment so I felt obligated to add to it “hey eyes up here “ I said while lifting his head up to look at my eyes then the unthinkable happened. He got a nosebleed and fainted, while I sat there confused to why he fainted I heard uncontrollable laughter coming from the stairs And whipped my head to that direction and I saw a slowly recovering Twilight who seemed to not notice me til she walked over then her eyes got to the size of dinner plates which kept focusing on my wings then my horn over and over then settled on my face and just… stared. I waved my hand infront of her face for the about fifth or sixth time then I had the greatest and most hilarious idea ever. I got really close to her ear and bit the top part and right when I bit down softly I knew this wasn’t the best Idea because pretty much her whole head turned red and she fainted next to spike “Well that was a warm welcome”.

Ten Minutes later…

I finally got these two to stop bleeding on the floor but now their just sleep on their beds so I might have to play host in their home. I flew down to their kitchen at a slow pace making sure not to wake them with my flapping… actually come to think of it the reason they fainted might be because I have bat wings instead of feathers but besides that I got nothing. Okay now I need to figure out what they usually eat or just make something new hmmm this it tricky … I’ll just make hay and gem omelets.

TEN MINUTES INTO GATHERING INGREDIENTS

“Okay now I just got to put it all together” I said to myself but before I could do anything a window crashed opened and it looked like rainbows were on the attack so I just stood in the kitchen waiting for it to settle down. When the crashing stopped I got ready to walk out and see “yo Twilight is the new Daring Do here yet!” I heard a raspy voice yell so I answered him or her “I’m sorry she is not conscious at the moment” probably not the best choice of words but it's okay so I stuck my head out the door of the kitchen only to get a death glare okay worst choice of words “WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE IS TWILIGHT AND SPIKE” she shouted at me I was about to answer but I smelled something “as much as I want to answer you i’ll be right back” I stated calmly as I ducked back into the kitchen to check on the omelettes “GET BACK HEre?” I turned and saw her behind me looking at the finished omelettes while drooling, so first I handed her a towel then ask if she wanted one “ as if …. no way why would I want…” she trailed off “suit yourself” I said levitating the omelette onto the plates “It was nice meeting you and all miss but I have two incapacitated ponies to take care of” I walked off and didn't turn back as I started upstairs. I opened the door to see the two waking up then looking to me so i gave a soft smile and sat the food down on the nightstand next to the bed “enjoy your nap?” I said in a teasing tone which did not go unnoticed the first to get up was spike who jumped up and hid on the side of the bed opposite to me then miss twilight sparkle awoke with a soft “aahh” she looked at spike first then to me finally becoming fully awake she teleported directly in front of me and I did not even flinch “Who are you and … what smells great” I levitated her food in front of her and said “ That would be your brunch and my name I will explain when the two of you are finished” I levitated her and spike with both their respective plates onto the bed and said “ come downstairs when you are finished “ and with that I left to go check on the mare I left in the kitchen only to find her in the same place but sitting so as any person would do I walked up to her and tried to pry her from her daydream “hello miss are you ok?”  I should probably take her to the couch before she falls over but i’ve exhausted all my magic maybe I could just carry her my wings are pretty strong. With that thought in place I wrapped my hooves around the frozen mare and started to beat my large leathery wings and successfully lifted her into the air the I started to lean over the couch by my grip was faltering so I just flopped her onto the couch startling her awake only to give me a death glare “ALRIGHT NOW YOU'RE DEAD” she leaped at me at supersonic speeds only for me to just float over to the right making her fly through the window that was behind my previous position “she’s very gullible” I said as I gracefully descended to the ground but only to be tackled to the ground by a blur of purple and green. When I looked down I saw spike doing what I can only assume to be hugging my stomach “What are you doing spike” I said in a oddly surprised yet deadpanned voice “ I-I-I don’t know just don’t move me “ spike said in a slightly scared yet slightly … sad or depressed I think “ oookay well I going to stand now “ I stood with a spike clinging for dear life to my torso This is so weird “ Spike how about we talk later about this I do have some experience with dragons “REALLY I mean great hehe bye!” he jumped off me and ran into what I could only assume was his room “I should really check if twilight s ready for the conversation were about to have” I said to no one as I trotted up the stairs to her room only to see what it looks like when a paper bomb goes off “What did I miss did I forget to sent a report could she be cross with me could she be replacing me or worst sending me back to philly school” she was freaking out she must have thought celestia sent me “Twilight sparkle please come here we need to have a talk” she froze and looked towards me and paled “And don't worry you're not in trouble and celestia did not send me “ she released a deep breath of relief “ok then but why are you here” she tilted her head to emphasis her point “ follow me please we have much to discuss” I walked down the stairs and into the main room and sat on the couch waiting only for a flash to my right to show a slightly less frantic Twilight “It seems you're eager to speak to me please have a seat” I said with a soft smile while gesturing towards the couch seat next to me. When she got settled down we began “My name is Eclipse I am a cousin of the princesses now before your questions let me tell you why I have come here, the first you should know is that the princesses don’t even know I exist and that’s how it stays I am older than both of them so don’t tell them, I am here to inform you that now because you are a alicorn you shall be experiencing some extreme growths in magic and intellect you might not notice or just get a headache  you will gain immortality when celestia grants it to you and I would like to officially welcome you to Alicorn Hood”  Judging from the wide eyed look I was getting I’m assuming that a lot of questions were about to come so I had to stop them before they came “Before you ask me any questions I’ll answer them when you’re about 1,000 years older. If you need anymore answers just come and find me I’ll be buying a house in the town. I thought living closer to the capital would be better” When I finish my announcement I looked at her waiting for her to calm herself “Okay well I got some studying to do so help yourself to whatever's in the fridge” And with that she teleported upstairs if the thump sound was any indicator. Now all I have to deal with is spike.
