For Sister Has Years Worth of Knowledge

Previous Chapter

By the time Luna and Pinkie started walking back to the castle, Celestia was already raising the sun. Pinkie stopped in her tracks to look at it.

"Whoa! That looks great! I don't get to see the sunrise much."

Luna smiled. "My sister sure is talented." Then that smile turned into a smirk. "But here comes my favorite part."

She light up her horn and flew right to the top of the highest tower in the castle. The stars turned off one by one until the sky was empty with only the sun and the moon. Then the latter was hidden behind

Canterlot Mountain so the former could fill the sky with light.

"Whoa!  That was AWESOME!"

Luna nodded. "And to think this used to be my most dreaded part of the night." She flew down till she was standing right beside her friend. "Goodbye, Pinkie Pie."

Pinkie hugged her. "Have a good morning sleep!!"

Luna chuckled as they went their separate ways. The princess of the night found her sister in the dining room having breakfast.

"Good morning, Luna. It's nice to see you, I thought I was going to have to move both the sun and the moon today. Like back when... You know."

"I do know. I am sorry for running off from you like that."

"It's alright." She gestured for the waiter to bring her sister's tray. Luna was still getting used to calling them by name instead of Servant. "Seeing you smile is always nice, I take it you had a good night?"

"Oh, it was wonderful!" Luna admitted as she sat down. "I haven't had a night like that in a while, you know!"

"That's nice." Celestia said as she levitated her cup of tea to her lips.

As the waiter came back with Luna's favorite food, Winter Iris Sandwich. On his other hoof, there was a few strands of grass as an acompaniement. The princess suddenly realized something.

"You know, I don't think I'm hungry today." She was then surprised to find her sister spitting out tea all over her face. "UGH, sister. " She was about to use her wings to clean herself up but luckily the waiter handed her a napkin just in time. "Was that really necessary?"

"Sorry, Luna, I was just shocked." Celestia admitted. "Are you sure you're alright?"

"Doing good, yes." Luna nodded.

"And you don't want to eat anything?"

"I'll settle for apple juice, thank you." The waiter nodded and went back to the kitchen. Once he was gone, however, he made the mistake of leaving the sisters alone. "Why is my sudden lack of appetite so shocking to you?"

"Because you're always hungry." The white alicorn pressed. "How would you react if I didn't want cake?"

Luna's expression could be described as that of someone who had just dropped the inkwell on her paperwork. "I get it now"

"Mhmhm." The princess cut out a slice from the banana cream and strawberry cake she had next to her and ate it in an unladylike fashion. "Shpeakin nof." She gulped and pointed to the cake. "Want a slice?"

"No thanks."

"Suit yourself." She was about to cut another when she stopped herself and gave her sister a serious look. "Oh and Luna, remember the last two times you've hidden feelings from me?"

"I do." She said, frowning. "But I don't want to."

"Let's not let it happen again. I'm your sister. I'm here for you and anything you want to talk about don't hesitate on doing it."

"S-sure." Luna replied, a little touched by what she'd just heard. "Thank you, sister."

Celestia nodded and proceeded to keep eating the cake. The waiter came back  with Luna's juice which she drank before wishing both ponies good day and flying to her room.

"GOOD MORNING!"

"GAAH! What?!" Luna shouted while she woke up. She looked to the window, where the voice had come from and she saw Pinkie Pie wearing a blue popeller hat that, of course, was moving it´s popeller around to help her fly. Luna raised an eyebrow at the earth pony. "Pinkie Pie? I don´t remember my sister or anyone else arranging for a wake-up call, what are you doing here?"

"OH, YEAH! I came here to...Um...Well..." Her pink cheeks turned crimson. "I just wanted to see you again. Besides, it´s seven in the afternoon, time to freshen up an fill the world with your light, princess!!"

"Um...Thanks." She got up, went to her personal bathroom and, once she was out, she flew out of the window. She used her magic to elevate the moon and slowly form each constelation. Pinkie clapped, exited. " So, you just came to see me? Don´t get me wrong, it´s always nice to see a friendly face but...." She sighed, flying through the window and back to inside the room. "I have my nightly duties to take care of."

The pink pony rubbed her hooves awkardly. "Well, there was that, plus I have a surprise for you."

"Adorable." Luna comented. "But please let me finish the paperwork first. Then, I´ll see you."

"YAAAY!" And Pinkie Pie flew away. Luna shook her head as her eyes followed her. She was about to open the door when princess Celestia burst in with a smile.

"Good news, Luna, I took care of all your paperwork!" The princess of the day announced as she handed her said papers. Luna raised an eyebrow.

"Why would you do that?"

"You´ve been stressed lately, you deserve a break."

The princess of the night got on a poker face. "She offered you cake, didn´t she?"

She looked down to the floor in shame. "Chocolate icing."

"Save me a few slices."

"I will. Have fun!" The white alicorn hugged the blue one and she hugged back.

"I hate you so much."

"Okay, you can look now!" Pinkie squealed as she removed her hooves from Luna´s eyes. The alicorn opened it to find a giant dining room with docens of different foods. The room was empty except for her, Pinkie Pie and...Applejack?

"Well, howdy there, princess, what brings you here?" The cowpony smiled, waving her hat around.

"You know" She squinted at Pinkie Pie. "I´d like to know that too, actually."

"AJ and I are the party caterers for the Gala, of course!!" Pinkie explained. "That means we get to do the testing. But this is waaay too much for just two ponies." She smiled.

"Um, Pinkie, Ah thought too much wasn´t in yerr vocabula..." Applejack was stopped from talking by Pinkie shoving an apple to her mouth.

"Come on, princess, I just wanna share this jam with you!" Pinkie laughed.

The princess felt her stomach grumbled and blushed. "Why not?"
