PoV: Steel Breaker
Location: Vault 101, Everfree forest
Time: 10:00 A.M
Two days after finding Liberty Prime

After arriving back to Ponyville, I had to calm the citizens down as Celestia and Luna came in tl see what was going on.

I told them that Liberty was near a settlement, buried deep inside a mountain and woke up by an act of communism. They weren't to pleased to hear about that but they helped me with Liberty. They casted a spell that makes him exactly as tall as me, making it easier for me to store him somewhere.After that was done, I told Twilight about Scootaloo's situation and agreed to let her stay.

Now, I'm working on trying to fix up my old X-01 power armor while listening to some music, wearing the Communist spec ops outfit. It's in working condition but I'd rather not take the risk of a malfunction in the middle of a firefight.

It's a standard armor except for the headlights and flamethrowers in the wrists of the arms, I had the headlights custom made and painted them red.

"Sir, I've detected a few Radroaches in the Auditorium." I heard Andy say behind me.

"Go nuts, just make sure not to burn any beds or crates." I said to him as I removed the arm from the power armor and started to calibrate it.

Andy gave me a mock salute as he he flouted towards the Auditorium while readying his flamethrower. After calibrating the arm, I reattached it back on the Power armor. I made sure the other arm was also calibrated correctly.

While trying to find a wrench to use for the helmet, I could hear the sound of fire and dying roaches, followed by maniacal laughter.

I shook my head at that, I never did find out what made him a Pyromaniac. Once I found the wrench, I took the helmet and started checking the headlights and the HUD. After that was done, I put the helmet back and grabbed a fusion battery. I put the battery in the suit, turned the valve, making the suit open up and entered it.

Once the suit closed the helmets 'HUD' activated and showed me the status of the suit. Not to bad, could be used for a few fights. I flicked the wrists, turning on the flamethrowers. I looked to my left at a crate of useless shit I don't need and raised my hand at it, making the flamethrower shoot at it with a torrent of flames.

As I watched the crate burn, I thought about the stallion who made these customizations. I never knew his name, only knew what they called him, 'The Lone Survivor'.

I chuckled as I remembered how we met. I shook my head at the memory with a smile. I decided to help out Andy with the roach problem, so I grabbed my railway rifle, loaded some railspikes and walked to the Auditorium.

PoV: Twilight
Location: Ponyville, Castle Friendship

It's been two days since we've found the giant metal golem and the ponies have been scared out of there minds when we arrived but they've calmed down a lot once the princesses shrunk it down.

Now, I'm just doing some paper work, mostly denying the banishment of Steel from Ponyville. I started thinking about Steel.

'How did Steel ever stay sane after living so long like that? Has he already gone insane but had no sanity left to lose?' I thought as I put my hands on my forehead.

'What did you go through, Steel?' I asked myself as I saw Spike, Nyx and Scootaloo playing with Dogmeat.

I sighed as I stood up, gaining Nyx's attention.

"Is something wrong, Mom?" She asked me.

"No sweetie, I'm was just thinking." I said to her, I noticed Dogmeat giving me a weird look.

"Does it have something to do with Mister Breaker?" She asked as she stood up and walked towards me, leaving Scootaloo with Dogmeat.

"A little. He told me about himself a few days ago and well, I just don't know how he lived through it." I said to her.

"Where did he live?" Scootaloo asked, wanting to know more about her 'Guardian'.

"Not where, when. He's older than the princesses themselves and he used to live in an apocalyptic Equestria.

"Is that why he has a robot arm?" Spike asked me.

"Yes, I think. He never told me why he had that or how he got that." I said to him.

"Should we go see him? Maybe he would like some friends?" Nyx suggested.

"Do you want to go?" I asked them, gaining nods from all three of them as Dogmeat let out a happy bark to see his friend.

I smiled as I charged the spell to take us there. Once fulky charged, I surrounded all of us in a bright lavender light and teleported us to the Vault.

After the light faded away, we saw the large Vault opening and walked in. As we walked through the hallways, we could hear some sort of peppy song playing not to far from us.

As we got closer to a door labeled Auditorium, the music got louder and we heard what sounded like a fire spell being casted, and the sound of nails hitting something hard.

I told them to wait there as I went to check what the noise was and opened the door. Once the door was open, I was greeted with the sight of giant cockroaches, Andy and a large metal golem with red eyes holding one of Steel's weapons and firing and the roaches.

The golem pulled the trigger again, only to receive a loud click. It threw the weapon back and flicked his wrists, he then aimed at the largest roach and launched a torrent of flames at it, ultimately killing it.

"Stupid fucking Radroaches, annoying as hell. Anyway, good job Andy." The golem said to Andy. It turned to the door but stopped as it noticed me.

"Twilight? What are you doing here?" It asked me. I just stood there in fear as it tilted its head.

"Oh right, my armor." It said as steam came out of its back. Once the steam cleared I saw Steel walking out of it.

"Pretty sweet huh? Got it from a pony I knew." He said as he gave it a pat.

"What is that?" I asked him.

"This, my beautiful alicorn friend, is the X-01 Power Armor with a few custom equipment attached to it." Steel said, making me blush as he rasied the arm and showed me a little tube coming out of the wrist.

"Built in flamethrower, it was tricky putting it in but We managed." Steel said as he climbed back in.

"Why are going in again?" I askee him as he turned a large valve.

"Well, I intended to just walk around with it, so I could see if there was anything wrong with anything." He said as the back opened up. As he climbed back in, I walked out the door to wait outside for him with Spike, Nyx and Scootaloo.

Once I told them we had to wait out the door, Scootaloo asked why and I told her that he was having an insect problem.

We waited outside with Dogmeat laying down on the stone as we heard the stomps of Steels armor.

As he walked out, Nyx and Scootaloo stared in awe as Spike hid behind Dogmeat. Dogmeat barked out what sounded like the words 'Really?' at Spike as he stood up and walked towards Steel.

Steel grabbed the head of the suit and pulled it off.

"Much better." He said as he helmet under his arm.

"Cool~." We heard Nyx and Scootaloo say simultaneously as they looked at Steel.

"Yeah, I know. So what did you ponies want with little ol' me?" He asked with a smile as we started walking towards the castles surface.

PoV: Steal Breaker
Location: Everfree

We finally walked out into the daylight and into the forest. On the way, I told them a little about the Lone Survivor.

I noticed some Timberwolves following behind us, but back off as me and Dogmeat gave them death glares. As we got closer to Ponyville, I could smell fire coming from the towns direction.

We sped up and ran out the forest and saw some armored Griffins and Ponies attacking Ponyville.

Their armor made my blood boil and my vision go red as I looked up my Pip-boy inventory and took out my hand cannon.

"Steel, what's going on?" I heard Twilight ask beside me. The only thing going through my head were three words, Kill the Enclave. I turned to look at Twilight and the rest of the group.

"Stay here, it's going to get messy." I said to them as I loaded up my revolver.

I started running up towards them while reattaching my helmet and as I got closer, I could hear one of them shout out.

"Bring the princess and her filly to us, you have ten minutes to comply, failure to do so will result in your deaths." I heard one of them shout at everypony.

I focused my V.A.T.S on the nearest troop, aiming straight to the head with a fifty percent chance, then targeted his left arm with a nightie percent chance of hitting it, then pulled the trigger.

The first shot missed him, making him look and aim at me with a plasma rifle but the second shot crippled his arm, making him drop the plasma rifle. I quickly holstered my revolver and delivered a strong punch to the chest, sending him to the wall. The rest of the Enclave turned to look at me in surprise as I cracked my knuckles, ready to fight.

One of the schock armor soldiers ran towards me as he got ready to hit me with the Ripper. Has he hit the armor, the rippers blades broke and I grabbed his arm, then crushed it. The soldier screamed in agony as I ripped off his arm, making blood come out like a fountain, I then took out my revolver and started to hit him with it.

I turned to the others and ran up to them as they started to shoot at with everything they've got. I ran up to the one with a missile launcher and pushed up as be pulled the trigger, launching a rocket at the air. I took out my hand cannon as I kept fighting for the launcher, then aimed at him and fired in point blank to the chest.

"He's got rockets!" A griffin soldier shouted before being smacked with the back of the rocket launcher. I then dropped the launcher and stomped on it as I aimed my hand cannon with the V.A.T.S activated.

I aimed at four of them in the head and fired, not missing a shot. I heard the sound of a Gatlin laser being prepped. I turned around in time to see the officer holding a Gatlin laser, aiming at me.

"I didn't know you assholes still existed." He said with a smirk, thinking that he had one. I holstered my hand cannon as I looked over to him.

"Feelings mutual. Mind telling me why you're attacking this town?" I asked him as I crossed my arms.

"Easy, we need to get this country back to the way it was before the great war. And what way to do that, than with one of it's current rulers and if she doesn't cooperate, we'll take her filly and make her rethink her decision." He said as he put his finger on the trigger. I casually flicked my wrist while flipping him off.

"Well, let's celebrate the Enclaves return with a little fire." I said as I quickly raised my hand at him, shooting flames at him. I flicked my other wrist and did a complete three hundred and sixty degree spin, burning all the Enclave troops surrounding me.

I heard Twilight scream as I saw one of the Enclave soldiers took her and Nyx, then flew away with a jet pack. I ran back to where I left them and saw that Scootaloo was holding a bruised Spike.

I looked through my Pip-boy and took out a stimpack and a Med-X. I injected the Med-X, then the stimpack in Spike.

"He'll be fine, but take him to the hospital just to be sure." I said to her, gaining a nod from her as she picked Spike up and ran towards the hospital. Iooked back and saw Dogmeat.unconscious on the ground, I bent over and shook him up.

"You know what to do, boy." I said to him as he got up. He sniffed around and picked up Twilights scent. He ran towards the direction of her scent and I followed behind.

PoV: Twilight
Location: Enclave facility, holding cell
Two hours later

It's been two hours since they took us and I don't even know who they are. All they kept saying is that they're the ones who will bring Equestria back to it's rightful state. They put magic inhibitors on me and Nyx, then left us in a dark cell. I've been holding on to Nyx as she cried.

"I see that they have actually done it, cowards. They will do anything for power, even foalnapping, murder, political assassinations, anything for power." I heard a gruff stallions voice say in the cell next to ours.

"W-who's t-t-there?" I asked, scared of who it might be.

"You do not have anything to fear, I am a captive as well. I've been longer that I could keep up." The same voice said.

"Who might you and that adorable little filly be?" He asked me.

"I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle and this is my daughter, Nyx." I said to him, I tried to see through the darkness but all i could see was his silhouette from the little light coming in, he looked ripped.

"I've never met royalty before, then again I've been stuck down here for far to long. Sometimes, I just remember my travels around with a close friend." He said.

"Travels?" Nyx asked him as she finally calmed down.

"Yes little one, I've traveled around along with the one I could call brother. Me and him were the greatest duo known throughout the Capital Wasteland." He said. I could feel my eyes grew to the fact that he's Steels past.

"How did you two meet?" I asked.

"We met inside of Vault eighty seven, I was locked in a room by my own kind. They thought that I didn't embraced the path that everyone else chose, so they locked me up. I've spent there my entire life until he came along, guns blazing, not missing a single one of them and he found me. He needed something and I wanted my freedom, so we came to an agreement. After I got him the device he needed, he was soon captured by the same organization that captured you, The Enclave." He said with much venom to the name.

"Oh how terribly rude of me, I never introduced myself." He said as I saw his silhouette walked closer to our cell.

"My name is Fawkes, pleasure to meet you." He said as he held his hand out for a friendly handshake. I looked at his hand and saw that he was a sickly green with missing fur spots. I took his hand and shook it.

"Hey, Mister Fawkes, what happened to your hand?" Nyx asked him.

"Do you not know what I am?" He asked as he pulled his hand back.

"What do you mean? You're not a pony?" I asked him.

"I think I was but now, I'm a Super Mutant." He said as we shouts could be heard down the hall.

'Steel, please save us.' I thought as I sat on the only bed with Nyx sitting next to me.

PoV: Steel Breaker
Location: Enclave facility, edge of the forest
Half an hour earlier

I've been following Dogmeat, trying to find where they took Twilight and Nyx. We finally found a large factory turned Enclave base. I saw that it was heavily guarded, meaning Power armor is a no. I got out of the power armor and used my V.A.T.S to check how many guards there are and counted over fifty.

"Dogmeat, stay here and guard my armor." I said as I put on the spec ops helmet.

I turned on the cloak and ran straight to the wall of the facility. I managed to slip passed the first few guards.

I crouched down as I sneaked towards one of the patrolling guards. Once up close, I grabbed his knife and quickly stabbing him in the kneck as I covered his mouth to muffle his screams. Once dead, I dragged the body towards a bush and hid it there.

I sneaked out of the bush, and followed another guard as he entered the building. Once inside, I saw two more patrols and three guards posted in front of a door upstairs. I walked under the office with three guards in front of the door and planted a Proximity charge Andy built with the Enclave shit I've scavenged throughout my time in the wastes.

I set the charge up and linked to the remote detonator. I then heard one of the guards talk about two alicorn captives locked up next to a Super Mutant.

I walked up to them and bashed their heads together, knocking them both out and walked in to the holding cells. I walked by a generator, probably powering half the building. I set up another Proximity charge and continued onwards.

After a few minutes of snooping around and planting more charges, I finally arrived at the holding cells through a vent and saw Twilight and Nyx sleeping in one bed.

I carefully got out of the vent, I noticed a napping guard. I sneaked towards him with the trench knife out and stabbed his throught while I put my other hand on his mouth to muffle his scream.

After he stopped squirming and fell lifeless back on the chair. I grabbed his keys and walked towards the cells.

Before opening their cell, I looked to the one next to them and turned on my Pip-boy light. I could only see someone wearing a blue jump suit with the numbers eighty seven written in the back.

"Fawkes?" I asked myself as I turned back to Twilight and Nyx. I found the key and opened the door, waking them up.

"Who's there?" Twilight asked with fear. I turned off the cloak of my suit.

"Miss me?" I asked as I took off my helmet.

"Steel? How did you find us?" Twilight asked as she hugged me, making me blush from the embrace. I slowly and awkwardly returned the embrace.

"I-I couldn't just let them take you." I said with a blush still evident on my cheeks.

"But how did you get in here? The whole place is heavily guarded." Twilight asked as she pulled away from the hug.

"l walked in." I answered her. She looked at me with a straight face while Nyx found my answer funny.

I looked to the cell next to this one and decided to let him out.

"Hey buddy, you awake." I said as I got closer to him.

"It's been awhile, old friend." He said as he sat up on his bed and looked at me.

"Too long." I said as he stood up and cracked his knuckles.

"How many?" He simply asked.

"Fifty guards in total, forty outside and the other ten in here. I've taken out two on the way here, I've also set up a few bombs in some critical looking areas." I said as I showed him the detonator.

"What about the storage room, they put my stuff there when they captured me." He said as Twilight and Nyx just stood there looking at us.

"Armory is a few doors to the south, two guards posted at the door." I said to him as we all walked towards the door, passing by the corpse of the guard.

"How's the wasteland doing after my capture?" Fawkes asked us.

"The wasteland isn't a wasteland anymore. Trees grew, allowing more plant life to grow around." I said as I opened the door and saw the two knocked out guards in front.

We walked over them and continued on south of the hallway. We stopped as we saw the two guards in front of the storage room doors.

I took out my old deathclaw gauntlet and activated the cloak as I walked towards them. Once I was close enough, I stabbed one of them in the face with the gauntlet as I took his knife to stab the other one.

I looked back at Fawkes and signaled them over. We went inside the storage room and let me tell you, it looks more like an armory except there's food crates here and there.

Fawkes found his Gatlin Laser and Charge pack. He made sure that it was fully loaded and walked out. I looked through a few boxes, finding some Nuka-Cola, five scrap metal, three fission batteries and twenty .44 caliber revolver rounds.

I could tell that Twilight and Nyx are still shocked from seeing somepony get killed. I sighed as I felt guilty for making them witness it. After I finished looting, we left the storage room and made our way towards the main room for the exit. As we arrived at the main door, I looked over to Twilight and Nyx.

"You two hide somewhere, me and Fawkes will clear the area." I said to Twilight, gaining a nod as she found a closet and hid in there.

I looked at Fawkes as I took out the detonator.

"Ready for a fight?" I asked him, gaining half a smirk due to half of his lips are gone. I pressed the button, making the charges go off and the power to go out.

"Always." He said as he kicked the door off it's hinges and ran to cover as the Enclave started firing. I took cover behind a large crate and loaded up my hand cannon. I leaned out of cover as I activated the V.A.T.S and targeted six Hellfire Troopers. I pulled the triggers and I could see my Pip-boy light up with a message reading, 'Bloody Mess'. As the bullets hit each of them, they exploded in a mess of blood, limbs and organs. I ran up to one of the remains of the hellfire troops and picked up the heavy flamer, then started shooting at the rest.

"Imprison me will you?!" Fawkes shouted in rage as he mowed then down with ease. I could feel my Jaw drop as he walked through their gun fire like nothing as he kept firing, killing thirty of them. The remaining six tied to shoot him with Plasma rifles but only made Fawkes shout at them.

"Don't make me laugh!" He shouted as he fired and killed the remaining troops. I ran back towards Twilight and Nyx, telling them that we could leave now. I asked Twilight to cover Nyx's eyes as we walked through the bodies of the Enclave.

Fawkes waited by the door and kicked it open. He was greeted by the clear blue sky and the forest.

"Freedom!" He shouted in pure joy as he dropped his gun and raised his arms in celebration as he kept shouting.

Two hours later
Location: Ponyville, outskirts of town

After finding Dogmeat guarding my power amor, I got in the armor and began our trek back to Ponyville. On the way Fawkes has been so enthralled with the plant life and animals in the forest, Twilight told him everything she knew about the plants of the forest.

We finally arrived back in Ponyville and was greeted by Celestia and Luna.

"Steel, what happened?" Celestia asked, knowing that it was me in the armor. I took off my helmet and looked at her.

"The Enclave remainings attacked, but they're no longer a threat to anyone anymore." I said as I looked over to Fawkes. Luna saw Fawkes and gasped in surprise.

"Fawkes?" Luna said, gaining his attention.

"Do my eyes deceive me? Little Luna, is that you?" He said with half a smile.

"Yes it's me, Fawkes." Luna said, giving him hug.

"First Liberty and now Fawkes." Celestia said as she walked over to Fawkes and joined her sister in the hug.

I looked over to Nyx and saw her standing by herself. I walked over to her and knelt down to her eye level.

"Are you okay, Nyx?" I asked her, worried that I might have scarred her.

"I was scared, that they were going to keep us there. Why would they do that?" She asked as she started to tear up. I stood up and got out of the power armor.

I knelt back down and gave her a hug to calm her down.

"You don't need to be scared, as long as I'm here, I'll keep you, your mother and everypony in this town safe, even it mean that I have to sacrifice myself." I said to her in a soft tone as I held her. I could feel my Spec op top getting wet in her tears. I picked her up and stood up.

I looked over to Celestia as she was talking with Fawkes.

"Celestia?" I said, gaining her attention.

"I need you to take my power armor back to the Vault, I need to go to the hospital." I said, she nodded and grabbed the power armor with her magic and walked to the Vault with Luna and Fawkes.

I walked to the hospital with Nyx in my arms as she cried. I sighed at my predicament, who knew the Wanderer would be comforting a filly.

Sorry for the delay and the early publish. The delay was because christman mother truckers! And the early publish was my phone acting like a dick, causing my screem to glitch as I pressed the edit button but instead thought I had pressed publish.

Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed this, took me a week to come up with who will arrive in the present.
