For all time and space, we can all agree that we cannot know everything. The events to come or the reason in it. All creations ask “who they are and what purpose they serve?” No one can truly know their future or let go of the fear that they have become something they have feared. That is where I come in. Born as a normal soul…so I thought but that wasn’t the case. It is said that the Creator from above has a plan for us all…but did he plan for me to suffer?

My name Is Cuddle Heart but I am commonly known as Cuddleshy and I was born with a curse. Daughter or the unicorn princess of the three tribes but I was not born with a horn but wings. I also had a yellowish coat and pink mane with cyan stripes. I never knew my father so I was left with not knowing who he was. Later, my mother had given birth to daughters who had horns and I began fading out. As time grew on I was treated like servant to her than a daughter. I was even beaten up for accidentally breaking one of the expensive glass bowl. When I was ten years old I still had no mark and soon was ousted out to fend for my own. I was always grounded so I never knew how to fly and I could see from other pegasi that my wings were too small for my size. All I had was hope to find a better place.

I traveled up north where I heard there was a nice village that was thriving but too get there was brutal. Going up north meant the temperature was going to fall below freezing. I tried building a fire but that didn’t work well. Knowing that if I didn’t find shelter soon, my journey would be in vain. Luckily I found a cave that had a glowing red liquid in a deep pit which I later found out to be lava. The heat could be felt from the top of the cave but if I want to stay warm I have to get out of the cold breeze. For some odd strange reason I notice stairs cut out of the cave’s floor similar to the castle I once resided in.

“H-Hello?” I stammered and hid behind a stalagmite as my voice echoed off the walls. Trembling in fear I noticed that I could see my breath. Either I would freeze up here or be brave and go down the stairs of Tartarus. Shaking my head vigorously, I slowly descended down the stair case stopping every now and then whenever I heard even the slightest sound. I noticed the warmth increasing in my body as the glow got brighter. I wish I could stay here and not continue but I don’t want to get caught if something does live here.

By the time I reached the bottom step I can tell that some pony lives here as I see potions and scrolls on a perfectly cut stalagmite that is used as a table. This table was on the left of the lava pool as the pool to center of the room and on the right was some sort of glass ball as well as a hanger filled with cloaks and weapons that looked like they would cut you just by looking at it.  Before I could analyze any further I heard hoof steps emanating from somewhere but the echo made it impossible to tell and therefore I silently went for the only cloak that was long enough to cover my hooves while staying on the rack. The steps grew louder until they sounded like thunder. I immediately cover my raspy mouth and tried to slowly breathe through my nostrils. Soon the cave went silent and I began tearing up at the silent stalemate.

Then the loud steps began moving and I noticed that it began to sound quieter and then fade off. I waited for ten minutes to make sure nothing else was making a noise. I slowly moved the cloak to the side to let my eye peak out but that was a grave mistake as the only thing I saw with that eye was another except it had a dark red eye and a scar from its lid. The color of my coat drained from me and ended on the floor as I lost control of my bladder as I screamed and tried to get away from the pony but got only a hoof’s distance before I was trapped in a levitation spell. I closed my eyes and began crying, hoping this was all a dream.

“Who are you!? Why have you intruded my domain!?” screamed the stallion in a dark demonic tone.

“P-Pwease don’t hurt me! I was cold and I’m only a foal!”  I manage to blubber out between my crying.

“You intrude my home, soiled my best cloak and can’t even speak! A foal you are now and foal you will remain as I curse you of immortality and even as you mature of age your bladder shall remain the same as a newborn and your anger shall unleash a beast of no kind!” screamed the dark horse as the intensity of the magic grew as he spoke in a different language. I screamed in pain and terror as it felt like my coat was on fire and before I knew it I was feeling nothing…only darkness.
