The Dying Immortal
Marching On To No Direction
Previous ChapterThe darkness seems to have subsided even though my eyes were still shut and I could start to sense that I was no longer in the lair of the dark stallion. I could feel something...crunchy underneath me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was laying in the snow...and yet I didn't feel cold. 'Strange since all I am wearing is a small dress an-' my thoughts halted as I was not wearing what I was traveling with. It was a complete foal outfit. A thick and currently wet diaper, a onesie that button at the crotch and a pacifier I just notice that i was suckling on.
I sat there and waited. Praying that the curse was just a prank and that it was just a clothes spell. My hopes were dashed as I heard a hissing noise and saw the diaper in my onesie sag lower. It was true and now I am stuck in the middle of nowhere but I cant stay here or I will die...oh wait..I can't. Anyway I gathered my bearings and decided that there could be a chance that I can get the spell broken. I looked around to see if i could recognize any landmarks. I did a lot of studying in the library since i didn't have magic and from what I can tell from my sight on nothing but snowy hills, I am no where recognizable but I am up north. I looked for an hour and still saw nothing. Not even a sign of animal or plant life which is weird since I woke up in a crater that had some shape of a dragon or timber wolf and it could only be recent since the wind is pushing the snow to fill in the void.
Either way I had to march on, but where to march is something I do not know. I had no choice but to march in no direction and hope that I get to civilization soon. I may be immortal but that doesn't mean I cant freeze. Waddling along in the white polar desert, I only had the wind as my company and stars to guide me. For 40 suns and 40 moons I trudged the white powder with a diaper that seems to never leak. Soon, I came upon something upon the horizon. It seem to be a lake frozen over and on the other side was a village with houses made out of shiny rocks. My heart fluttered and I began running towards the village but fell instantly as soon as i set my hooves on the ice. Using my hands, I gently pushed myself up and began to slowly make my way to the village.
About twenty fallings later, I managed to make it half way there when I heard what sounded like my stomach and then I heard cracking noises which drew me in a panic as the noise was getting louder. I immediately tried to get up and run for it. I manage to make it for two seconds before I fell into the ice water. I opened my eye to find the hole but it appears that the whole lake shattered like glass. I decided that I could swim faster under water so I began to paddle like no tomorrow despite the heavy drag from my padded rear. I can see the edge of the lake and couldn't help but smile that this would be the last of my problems...until i heard that crackling noise. I turned around and my eyes widen as i could tell that the entire lake is freezing up. I swam as as my little legs would let me and was able to grab a rocky edge and see the village through the water. As I try to pull up into the dry land, I wasn't able to. I turned around and saw that I was half way frozen and now...hopeless but to hope that someone will see me as my body is frozen.
