New HereView OnlineThe Star-WatcherNew HereFinally, I'm finally here: Ponyville. Panting, I looked around taking in my surroundings while I regain my breath. Well, I'm here. So now what? Oh yeah, I live here now...Time to get settled in. But first I need to find a home. After having finished regaining my breath (My goodness, it took forever to get here!), and getting my stuff, I explored the town, eager to see what else the town of Ponyville had to offer. After all, it will be my new home so why not check it out? Moments later, the sky became filled with more clouds (Oh noes!). Then seconds later, almost as if she were expecting this to happen (or something else, I dunno), a rainbow-haired, blue-furred pegasus came flying into the sky and into the clouds. Immediately, the clouds in the sky began to decrease in numbers. The rainbow mare continued to kick the clouds, and in 10 seconds flat cleared the sky. I am amazed. This was awesome. She was awesome. No, she is amazing. But she looks familiar. After having cleared the sky of clouds, the rainbow mare laughs. "Too easy. I mean seriously, next time give me an actual challenge nature!" she said. She looks down and then her eyes are on me. She studied me almost as if she were trying to remember something. Maybe me? Then, she grinned and flies right at me. Holy shit, there's a crazy rainbow pegasus flying right at me. What do I do? Before I can even react, she grabs me and flies into the air. "Oh mygosh, oh mygosh, oh mygosh!" she says, excited. "Oh Danny, where have you been?" she says, hugging me tight. I don't know, where have I been? There's a random pegasus hugging me in the air. And I probably don't even know her. Confused, I reply, "Do I know you?" The female pegasus simply just chuckles. "Well of course you know me. I mean, its been 6 years, but try to remember me. Just think." she responds. (Que the Jeopardy "Think" music) After a moment, I suddenly grin. I remember her. "Well well well, where have you been the past 6 years, Dashie?" The rainbow mare smiles. "I've been around..." she replies, blushing. She flies us down, and lets me go. Phew. "So, now that I live here, do you wanna...I don't know...just...catch up sometime? Or something?" I ask, a little nervous (What? I'm not good with girls.). Rainbow Dash nods. "Yeah, I mean sure, of course." she says. I nod. I look around. "Well, I gotta go find a place to stay." I say "Yeah...you go do that." Rainbow Dash responds. I then took my stuff and trotted away. "We'll talk later!" I holler from a distance. "Okay!" Rainbow Dash hollers back. I chuckle. Well this ought to be the start of something interesting... After finding a place to live, I began to unpack all the stuff I had brought with me. I had found a 2 story house, with 2 bedrooms, 1 first floor hallway closet, 1 hallway closet upstairs, 1 closet in my bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom on both floors, a and finally a living room. Oh, and there's this empty room downstairs to the right of the kitchen after you exit it. But away with these random details! Wait a minute, who am I even talking to? Ehh, I must be breaking the 4th wall again. Oops. After getting somewhat settled in, I went out to go explore the rest of the town, maybe talk to Dashie again. Pushing open the front/entrance door, I think of what I should do first. I saw a bakery earlier, and wonder if I should go check it out. Sure why not? But I still need to meet up with Rainbow Dash later though. I walk across town, trying to act cool. Or at least make a good first impression on the other ponies in town. (Que Peter Parker Street Dance Montage Music: Drive That Funky Soul Upon finally reaching the bakery, I found out it was named Sugarcube Corner. Hmm... There must be stuff with lots of sugar here. Time to find out for sure. Opening the entrance door, I trot into the bakery and take in the details of Sugarcube Corner's inside. There are large candy-cane themed pillars at the start of some stairs which lead up. The floor is made up of turqoise-painted wooden planks, and at the register there is a large showcase of sweets behind glass. I walk up to a glass display of the items and lick my lips. The items on display look delicious! "Excuse me sir!" I hear a voice say from behind. I turn around to a mare the same color as Rainbow Dash but with a mane and tail looking like swirled pink and white ice cream. "I'm Mrs. Cake. Would you like to buy something?" she asks. After a few seconds, I nod. "Okay, let's see..." she says. I point to a rainbow-sprinkled, pink-frosted donut. She understands and gets me the donut. I hand (or in this case "hoof") her the bits and take my donut. "And there you are, sir." she says. "Thanks." I respond. Mrs. Cake nods and then trots away, probably to help another customer. I take my first bite out of the donut. After the first bite, I wolfed down the rest of the donut in seconds. And it was good. Hmm, I should come back here again sometime. I walk towards the exit/entrance and push the door open, trotting out and away. Once back out in the open, I breathe in a breath of fresh air. Trotting away, I encounter a pink pony bouncing around. She spots me and then comes closer to me. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! Oh wait I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you new here? Oh well then welcome to Ponyville! I'm Pinkie Pie! *gasp* Oh wait! We need to have a welcome party for you! Don't worry, I'm on it new guy. I'll be right back!" she says, already galloping away in a hurry. "Uhh...okay." I respond. Okay, now that was weird...I shrug. Then I trot along as if nothing happened.
Meeting the Mane 6View OnlineThe Star-WatcherMeeting the Mane 6After having the opportunity to get to know some of the other ponies in town, I headed home. It was great! We hung out a little, they showed me around town, you know. I'm looking forward to tomorrow so I can do the other activities that this town has to offer. Crawling into my bed, and after getting nice and comfy, I close my eyelids and end my day. I awake to the sound of birds chirping from a distance and to something in mind telling me: Hey you! Yeah you! Get up already, man! After getting out of my bed, brushing my teeth, and wolfing down a breakfast consisting of waffles and syrup I'm out the door. And so "Adventures in Ponyville: Day 2" begins. For me at least (Duh. Who else?). "Yeah, I know what you mean Sparkles. Like I mean, it would be really, really awkward if that happened to me too! And thank Celestia it hasn't, and I hope it never will." I reply. Sparkler ("Sparkles") giggles. "So true, Daniel." she says. She clears her throat. "So anyways you told me that you came here from Markent. Right?" she asks. I nod. "Oh cool. How is it there?" she asks. "Oh, well the part that I grew up in was a bit seedy...but I know that overall the place is pretty much in peace. Even though in the spot I grew up in, there would sometimes be a couple issues..." I respond. "Oh, okay I see." Sparkler says. She looks around nervously. "So anyways do you want to go grab a-a milkshake over at Sugarcube Corner o-or something?" she asks, a little nervous. "Huh?" "Nothing. Nevermind. It's just-" she starts. "No no. It's okay. I mean we're just grabbing a milkshake, right? Its no big deal." I respond. "Y-Yeah. Just getting a milkshake. No big deal right? We're just getting a thingy...together...just me and you..." she replies, still nervous. It seems asking boys out isn't her thing. Neither is flirting, that is if she was flirting or asking me out was what she is doing. "Yeah. We're just getting a milkshake." I reply. "Okay let's go." I add. Sparkler nods and we head over to Sugarcube Corner. I open the entrance door. "Ladies first." I say, leaving the door wide open. The mare blushes. She walks inside, and I follow after her. We walk up to the register and see that Mr. Cake, I presume, is there. "Oh, hey there. What can I get you two lovebirds?" Mr. Cake asks. Lovebirds? We're not even in love, and we're not birds either... "Oh, uh 2 milkshakes please." I respond. "Okay, and what flavors will these 2 milkshakes be?" Mr. Cake asks. "One chocolate milkshake and..." I say. "Hey Sparkler what flavor do you want?" I ask her. "Oh, uh, just strawberry." she replies. "Okay 2 milkshakes coming up!" Mr. Cake says. Me and the purple unicorn wait patiently in silence for our milkshakes. After a few silent moments, I decide to break the silence. "So anyways, are you seeing anypony, Sparkler?" I ask, curious. "Seeing anypony? Oh, uh, no..." she answers. "W-Why do you ask?" "Nothing, I was just wondering. That's all." "Why's that? Do you like what you see?" she says, turning her head and fluttering her eyelids. We both laugh. Comedy gold! No not really, but still that joke was still a little funny. "Haha. Good one Sparkles." I comment. "Hey, enough with the stupid nickname Danny." she says playfully. "Or else..." "Or else what?" I ask jokingly. "Or else, I'll blow up Joe's Pizza." she answers. We both laugh. Moments later, our milkshakes (finally) arrive. "Here you are." Mr. Cake says, hoofing (handing) us our milkshakes. We thank him and walk out, drinking our treats. As we walk around outside, we finish our shakes and talk about stuff. After we finally part, I head back to my home. I walk inside, turn on the lights and the first thing that happens is a party cannon gets blasted into my face. "Welcome to Ponyville!" many different voices scream. If I didn't know any better I'd say that I'm lucky I didn't go deaf. I look around and notice that "Welcome" and "Party!" banners have been placed around the living room and behind me, above the entrance/exit door. There is also a tray of cupcakes and a bowl of punch on the coffee table. I spit some confetti out of my mouth. "Well, say something." I hear Pinkie Pie say, excited. "Uhh, pizza time." I say. What? It was the first thing that came to my mind. Moments after everypony starts partying, it made sense since I had arrived already. Moments later, I here somepony call my name. "Hey! Hey Danny!" Rainbow Dash hollers. I turn to see her in the distance. "Come here!" she hollers. I then go over to Rainbow Dash. "Okay Daniel, these are my friends." she says. "Oh, uh, hi. I'm Daniel." I say. "Oh, um, hello Daniel. I'm F-Fluttershy..." a pink-haired, yellow-furred female pegasus says in a quiet voice. I say hi to her. "Howdy there, partner." a orange-furred, blonde cowgirl says. "I'm Applejack." she states. "Nice to finally meet you. Rainbow Dash over here has told you so much about you." she says. She has? "Hey there. I'm Twilight." a purple-furred, pink and purple-haired female unicorn says in a friendly voice. "Nice to meet you, Daniel. Oh! And this my baby dragon, Spike." "Hi! I'm Spike the Dragon. Nice to meet you, Danny." the small, purple dragon says. "Hey! Only my friends call me that." I say, glaring and getting closer to him. "Uh, um, I-I'm sorry...Please don't hurt me!" the small, purple skinned, green-scaled dragon says. I laugh. "Just kidding. I was just joking, Spike." I say. "Oooh. Hehehe. G-Good one Daniel! You almost had me fooled there..." Spike says. We all laugh. "Oh and why hello there, darling! I'm Rarity, of course." a white-furred, purple-haired female unicorn says. I nod. "I don't mean to brag or anything, but fashion is sort of my thing." she adds. "Oh and don't forget about me!" a pink haired, pink-furred mare says. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie!" she says in a excited and hyper voice. "Yeah, I know." I say. "You told me like a thousand times." I add. I chuckle. Pinkie giggles. "Hehe. Oops, I forgot!" she responds. Then she bounces away. I smirk. "Those are some friends you got their, Rainbow Dash." I comment. "Yeah, pretty weird how we have almost nothing in common and yet somehow we turn all out to be friends." she says to me. "Yeah...I guess so." I reply. "So anyways, are you friends with Sparkler?" I ask, curiously. "Sparkler?" she asks. "Yeah, the purple pony. You know..." I respond. "Buddy, there's a lot of purple ponies here in town, you gotta be more specific." Okay then. "She's a female unicorn, she's purple, and um..." "Hmm...female unicorn...purple fur...sparkles..." she mumbles. "Oh wait, I think I know who your talking about! But, yeah, no we're not really friends. But I think we talk sometimes every once in a while, sometimes at parties." she says. "Okay, I was just wondering." I respond. "Why? Do you have a crush on her?" "Well, more like the other way around...I think. Yeah, I don't know." I say, shrugging. "Hey big guy take it easy. You just got here. I think you should at least finish getting settled in before you start getting into a relationship with somepony." "Okay. I mean I guess." "Anyways c'mon! There's still a 'Welcome to Ponyville' party for us to attend to. I'd rather go party than stand here and talk about politics." Polictics? Wtf? "Yeah, I guess you're right, Dashie." I reply. "So c'mon then, let's go party." I add. "Except that there's one problem." "And what's that?" Rainbow Dash asks. "I'm not much of a party pony." I answer. "Well then let's change that." Rainbow Dash says. Uh-oh. What does old Dashie have in store for me now? Oh well I guess I'm about to find out.
Falling StarView OnlineThe Star-WatcherFalling StarAfter the majority of the guests left, the ones who hadn't left were pretty much done partying and offered to help us clean up. So we spent the following half hour cleaning up the mess left behind from the party. After we finished cleaning up the mess left behind after the party, the remaining guests said their goodbyes and left. "Well, I must say, it was nice to finally meet you, Daniel. We'll see you later." Twilight says. Then she walks out the front door, with Spike following her lead, waving bye to me. "See you later, Danny!" Dash hollers from the door. "Bye!" I holler back. Then the door finally shuts and I'm left all alone. I sigh loudly, both of relief and of weariness. Well, what should I do now? I dunno. The party was over, and boy was it a blast. I mean seriously. I'm very lucky to have moved to Ponyville. I don't think I would have gotten such a warm welcome (and even a party!) from anywhere else. However, all that partying made me a little tired. But before I go to bed, I want to get some fresh air before I can sleep. Walking out the door, I walk across town. Passing Fluttershy's Cottage, I notice there's a road beginning to a large forest. Hmm, should I go check it out? I might as well. I just hope I don't get lost in there. However, as I walk closer to the forest's entrance, I begin to have second thoughts. Am I really going to venture into a big, creepy forest I just found 10 seconds ago (at night) with no knowledge of what's in there? I shrug. I mean I guess. It's not like I plan on going camping in there or anything. I'm only going to go check it out really quick. As I walk past the entrance of the forest, I curiously look around, taking in all the details. However, it's a little difficult to make out some of the forest's details or certain things with it being night and all. As I walk further into the forest, I hear something from up above. "What was that?" I ask. Looking up I see something high up in the sky. Oh, it's just a star. However, before I turn away from the star I notice its getting closer. "Whoa! A shooting star!" I exclaim, excited by this new, interesting sight. Then, the star comes very very close. Too close. "I mean, whoa! A falling star..." I say, realizing what will happen next. Uh-oh. I brace myself for what will happen next. The last thing that I can remember seeing before I black out from the falling star's impact is a sudden flash of different colors. Then everything goes black. Those who worthy of wielding power of the stars will granted great power. But only and only if they are worthy to wield it. "Wait girls, I think he's coming to..." I hear a voice say. It sounded quiet...worried...familiar...Fluttershy? Was it really her? And where was I anyways? There's only one way to find out. I open my eyes, and find myself crowded by Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Twilight, and Spike. They stare intently at me. "Um...what's going on?" I ask. "I don't know Danny, why don't you answer that one?" Rainbow Dash says. She sounded half worried, and half annoyed. "I think what Rainbow Dash over here is trying to say is that we were worried so much about you. I mean, we were gone for who knows how long, and the next thing that happens, you're unconscious, on the floor in the Everfree Forest." Twilight says. "We're all lucky that Fluttershy heard something outside and finally saw you out there." "Why, you had us all worried, darling." Rarity comments. "So anyways, what in tarnation were you doing out there, sugarcube?" Applejack asks. I shrug. "I-I don't know. I can't remember..." I respond. Amnesia much? Ehh, probably not... "Actually the last thing that I remember before I blacked out on the ground was seeing this flash of different colors." I suddenly say. There was silence. "Um...okayyy..." Applejack responds. She must have been "weirded out" by my unusual response. "So you mean, like a rainbow or something?" Rainbow Dash asks. I shake my head. "No, not like a rainbow..." I reply. "I-It was like seeing an array of different colors. One color after the next. It was so weird, and new to me. I experienced it for probably a few seconds, and then I finally passed out." There was silence. "Well, we're glad your okay, sugarcube. You should go ahead and get some rest." Applejack comments, breaking the silence. "Actually I think that we could all use some rest." Twilight says. Fluttershy nods. "Yeah, I guess your right Twilight." I say, already trying to get up from Flutter's couch. "Whoa whoa whoa! What are you doing?" Rainbow Dash asks. "Um, what does it look like I'm doing Dashie? I'm going home." I respond. "No no no. You stay here, Daniel." Rainbow Dash says. I raise an eyebrow. "I think Rainbow Dash is right, you need to stay here. At least for the rest of tonight." Twilight says. "What? Why?" I ask. "Well, we sure wouldn't want you to pass out on the floor at night in some dangerous place again." Twilight answers, chuckling at her own joke. I start to object. "No objecting, Daniel. Or I'll zip your mouth shut with a spell." Twilight says, laughing again at her own joke. I stare at her. Seriously? She clears her throat. "Well, anyways we hope that you'll get well soon Daniel." she says, already walking towards the front door. "Goodnight Fluttershy. Come on Spike." "Bye Spikey-Wikey!" Rarity says. I raise an eyebrow again. "Spikey-Wikey?" I say. Really? That's a stupid nickname. Good thing it's not mine. As the sun continues to comes up, it shines brightly on my face, denying me the ability to continue sleeping. Ow! Stop it! Hey Mr. Sun, I'm trying to sleep over here! Yoo hoo! I sigh. Oh whatever, I needed to get up anyways. Stretching and getting up from the couch, I walk around. Yawning, I check my sides and myself for any cuts or bruises after what happened last night. If there were any cuts or bruises (or anything, really.) from me getting hit by that falling star, they weren't there anymore. Strange...You'd think that after getting hit in the side of your body, you'd be bleeding or have some if not a wound. Oh wait...a falling star! So that's what happened last night. But, I'm not too sure if I should tell anypony about that part...not yet at least... "Oh hey, you're up." I hear somepony say from behind me. I turn around to see who the voice belongs to. It's Fluttershy (Duh). I mentally facepalm myself. Well, of course it's gonna be Fluttershy! I'm in her freaking cottage for crying out loud! "Oh. Hey Fluttershy." I say. "How are you?" "I'm fine. The real question should be how you are. So anyways Daniel are you feeling better?" she asks in a quiet, somehow soothing voice. "Yeah, I think so." I reply. "It's amazing how your wounds had already healed themselves earlier. Pretty cool huh?" Fluttershy says in an excited tone, yet still in her usual quiet voice. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Oh, well, when I found you last night. I brought you into my cottage and then put bandages on you. You had a big ugly wound on your right side. But when I came back with the others, and took off the bandages to see if the wound had healed or gotten better, it was like it was never there! It was almost completely gone. And now it seems that it is completely gone!" she responded, answering my question(s). "Oh, okay." I say, nodding. "Well anyways, thank you for allowing me to stay here for the night, but ,really, I can assure you that I'm fine. So now I must go." I say, already heading towards the front door. "Wait! But don't you at least want breakfast first?" Fluttershy asks. I shake my head and tell Flutter that I'm fine. Then I leave her cottage, think about what Fluttershy had said earlier. Was it really possible for my wound(s) to have healed already in such a short amount of time? I'll have to check in with Twilight about that later, but for now I gotta head home. And maybe on the way get something to eat? Damn, I should have taken Fluttershy's offer about having breakfast. Oh well, I guess I'll see what I have at home to eat. If there's nothing (good) there I'll just go out and get some breakfast someplace. As I am about to push open my front door and go inside, I get knocked into the ground. Again? "Oh man! Thank Celestia your okay!" I hear a voice on top of me say. I can recognize the voice from on top of me already. Classic Sparkles. I look up at Sparkler. "Oh. Hey beautiful." I say. We both laugh. She gets off of me, and I get up. "So, I guess you heard about what happened..." "Pinkie Pie told me." she replies. "Pinkie Pie?" "Yeah." she replies. Weird. I didn't see her with the rest of us last night. She must have been asleep or something. All that party preparing and partying must have really exhausted her. "Oh. Okay." I respond. "So are you okay? Are you hurt? Oh wait what happened in the first place?" she asked. "Umm, I don't know..." I say. The purple unicorn made a disappointed face. "Seriously? Like for reals?" she asks. I nod. I hope she can't tell that I'm lying to her. I don't want to lie to Sparkler, but until I can actually figure out what the hell is going on, I need to leave that part out. "Look, seriously, I don't know. C-Can we just talk about something else?" I say to Sparkler. "Like what? Something bad took place with you involved last night and you won't even spill the beans on what exactly happened." she argued. Well, when you put it like that... "Look let's just forget about it, okay?" I remark. She sighs. "Okay, okay fine." she reluctantly agreed. "So anyways, I was just about to have some breakfast, care to join me?" I ask. "I don't know...not today." she states. "Why not? Remember that amazing...that amazing night that we had." I claim. She laughed. "We had milkshakes, Daniel." she stated. Bruh. "Yeah, but it was amazing wasn't it? Just me and you, drinking milkshakes, you know..." I start. She laughs again. "Okay, I have to go Danny." she tells me. I smirk. "Okay bye." I say to her. She walks away. And no sooner does she walk away do I (yet again) encounter Pinkie Pie. "Hey Danny! How's it going? *gasp* Oh my! I almost forgot! Are you okay? Where are your cuts? Did you even have any? What happened anyways, Danny? Was it a giant monster? Or evil pony warriors hiding in the shadows that jumped you? Or-Or maybe it was a freak of nature or something!" she babbles. I sigh. Then I smile. Even when she's getting on your nerves, Pinkie Pie somehow always finds a way to make you smile. Or something like that. Pretty cool, huh? But also really weird...
