Human generosity

After a dreamless night, I woke up from the warm heat rays on my face. I stretch my arms and my back from the uncomfortable improvised bed. As I got up and got dressed, with a simple T-shirt and jeans, I looked at the two sleeping ponies in my bed. My heart melted as I looked at them cuddling each other.

I decided to let them sleep while I prepare the breakfast. As I walked towards the kitchen, I wondered what I should make. I looked up at the clock (7:00). Then I got the perfect idea for the breakfast; Pancakes. Good thing that I like to help my mom with the food.

It took me about 30min to prepare everything. I ate my own portion with my coffee as I was wondering if there is any coffee in equestria. I decided to not take any chance and made two cups of hot chocolate. I brought out a large serving plate and covered it with all the food: pancakes, maple syrup, hot chocolate and some utensils just in case.

When I got back in my room the two ponies were still sleeping. I wanted to wake them up for them to eat there meal since it’s still hot, but I wasn’t sure if they would accept that I woke them with my touch. I laid the plate full of food besides them and grabbed my guitar. Since I can’t wake them with my touch I can wake them with music. I sat down on my desk chair and wondered what song I shall start with.

“Something smooth” I told myself. I looked up at my window and stared at the deep blue sky. As I looked at the blue ocean over the clouds, slowly my mind told me what to play.

“Owl city, Fireflies” I smiled to myself. I knew that song by heart.

I started to play that smooth melody as I chanted the words at the same time. As I played, I looked at the two ponies as I played on my guitar. I closed my eyes and took a serious look as I saw fluttershy slowly waking. Since I knew that song by heart I had no difficulty playing it with my eyes closed. I played the song without missing note or a word.

When I was finish with the song, I slowly opened my eyes. I was facing two ponies sitting on their rump. They were staring at me with glistering eyes.

“That was beautiful” complimented Fluttershy.

I blushed at her compliment. I pointed to the plate full of hot pancakes. “I made you girls breakfast.” I smiled.

“Thank you.” They both said simultaneously before putting all their attention to the pancakes.

As they ate, they also asked me questions (especially Twilight). The majority of the questions were about the human race and planet earth. I gave them all the information that they desired. While me and Twilight where talking, Fluttershy took her time eating and listening to my answers. When she was finished with her portion of food she surprised me and Twi by asking more personal questions. Random things like if I like small creatures to what type of music I liked. Twilight happily joined in it the personal question, do you like books? Do you believe in magic?

I answered all of their questions with complete honesty.

Smiles appeared from the results of their questions. Seeing them happy made me happy.

“You’re very special somebody must be very lucky to have you!” laughed Twilight.

The smile on my face slowly degraded without making any effort to hide my sadness. I took a quick look at the clock (8:45). I got up and grabbed the serving plate full of dirty dishes. I walked toward the door but I did not past though it I was just standing in front of the door.

“I do not have a special somebody. I never found the right one.” I said before exiting the room with the dirty dishes. I went down stairs and started to clean the dishes in the kitchen.

At my surprise, Twilight and Fluttershy joined me in the kitchen. My first reaction was to worry for Twi.

“Twilight! You shouldn’t walk with your wounded leg.”

“Don’t worry, I am alright. Look! The cut is gone!” she said as she turned around to show me her leg.

I looked at her leg in disbelief. Her wound was gone. She didn’t even have a scar.

“How did you...”

“Magic!” Twilight answered before I could finish my phase.

“So why haven’t you done that before?” I asked.

“Well, you know that it’s been two days that Fluttershy and I haven’t eaten before that you found us?” I nodded. “Without food we have no energy and without energy I cannot use magic.”

“Mmmh, logic!”I muttered.

Suddenly a thought came to my head, “Fluttershy! You had an injured wing if I recall”.

“I’m...I’m feeling a lot better now”.

I smiled, ”The only way to know that is by flying. I’m I right?”

“I...I guess you are right. But where can I fly?”

“In the backyard of course”.

I turned to Twi and asked her if she wanted to join us.

“Actually I wanted to read a few human books, if you have any?”

I smiled and told her that the books were in the living room just beside the stairs.

She immediately ran to the living room with excitement. I laugh at her anticipation before walking with Fluttershy to the backward door.

Before that I could open the door, Twi walk toward me with deception.

“What’s wrong Twilight?” I asked

“I am unable the read your books.”

I raised an eyebrow with confusion.

“When I open a book only a disk comes out.” She said as she lifts up a DVD.

I face palmed at her naivety. I showed her where the books were and promised her to tell her what the function of the disks is, but later. Because now it was time to fly with Fluttershy.

Sorry for the horrible delay. My boss asked me to do so much overtime. Still here is the next chapter hope you like and one of my friend is trying to make a new brony site but he need more people to sign up so please help a brony in need. wonderbolts.org
