Apple Bloom lay on the light green grass, in the clearing.

The trees created a circle of sky that the sun shone through, lighting up below. The sweet, fragrant smell of the flowers drifted around.

The grass tickled Apple Bloom, reminding her of when she was younger and she used to play in the fields with Big Mac.

A tear trickled down her cheek; she loved him and missed him dearly. Just like Applejack, Granny Smith, Apple Fritter, Apple Tart, Apple Pie, Golden Delicious and all of the rest he was now gone.

Soon she would be reunited, though.

"Apple Bloom, we just wanted to say...well..." Sobbing, Sweetie Belle trailed off. "Well, thank you for being our friend. Thank you for going on all of the adventures, and eventually getting our cutie marks, all together." She smiled, and although the smile wobbled, the smile in her eyes didn't.

Scootaloo then spoke, "We will miss you. Everyone will. Thanks for all of the times we shared." She too smiled softly.

Then the Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo sat down around Apple bloom and hugged her.

They hugged her for ages, never wanting this moment to end.

"Thanks, y'all. One day we'll meet again. No goodbye is forever, my friends. Thank you so much for everything. Goodbye." Apple Bloom spoke, her voice soft, before smiling up at her two friends. She then closed her eyes for the last time.
