First Encounter
John POV
"Business today has been slow...in fact it has been slow for a week...I must have pissed someone off real bad ," I turned the page of the newspaper. "For the past three hours I've done nothing but sit in the front desk and read a month old newspaper, I wish anything would happen ," at that very moment I heard the door open. "Way to go self you could just shut up and enjoy downtime like the rest of the world,nnnooooo you had to fucking pray for work, well I got what i wanted ," I thought.
"Hello I'm John and welcome to my fabrication company what can i do for you tod"- I looked up from my newspaper and stopped talking, I saw a horse with rainbow hair, a horn, wings, and most noticeably only " HOLY SHIT IT'S A WHITE HORSE UNICORN PEGASUS THINGY WITH FUCKING RAINBOW HAIR!, " I internally screamed. thankfully years of meeting weird people due to early jobs made my facial expression not convey my FREAK OUT.
Princess Celestia POV
"Greetings John I am Princess Celestia and I in need of your companies servic- I was interrupted by John screaming ",IT FUCKING TALKS ," and then he fell face first on the desk then he slid onto the floor, presumably passed out.
I approached him and nudged his limp form "John...?" he didn't respond
Seeing as how I have at least two to three hours till I have to return to lower the sun in Equestria I decided to wait for John to regain consciousness, so I sat on the couch. glancing around the room I saw a strange black rectangular box with buttons on it and used my magic to bring it closer to inspect it better. I pressed the red button that stood out from the other white buttons. Immediately a large slim black box across from the couch lit up and displayed two male humans commentating what looked strikingly similar to hoofball. "Fascinating" I said. At that moment I heard John's voice to my right
"AH fuck it wasn't a dream... oh well I might as well accept that this is happening," he said
I smiled at this, "he is accepting this much faster than I thought, I expected him to at least take thirty mor minutes. "
John POV
"So Princess Celestia was it, uh what can I do for you today?," I awkwardly stated.
She faced me and said "your not a citizen of Equestria so there is no need for you to call me Princess, if anything just Call me celestia."
She got off the couch and walked over to the desk and said, "as I was saying earlier-,"
"Yeah about my freak out earlier I'm sorry I should have been more polite and understanding," I apologized.
She giggled and then said "it is alright John it's understandable to react how you did given the circumstances."
The weirdest thing about Celestia reassuring me that i did nothing wrong, is that she was very motherly about how she did it, I feel like I should write her a letter on what I learned from all this..weird.
"Anyway," she said snapping me out of my thoughts "I have a job that I would like your company to do."

The Job and the Slight Problem
Princess Celestia POV
When I mentioned a job, his facial expression became that of a seasoned member of the royal guard, he then asked ,"What is the job?"
I to became serious in response to his expression and said ,"I need you to make my crown."
"Alright I can do that, i just need to ask you a few questions in regards to the crown," he pulled out a pad of paper and a pen.
"Actually," I said as I caused a scroll to appear in front of him, which surprisingly unfazed him, "I have all the information you need and more." He proceeded to take the scroll and look it over.
John POV
As I read through the scroll I was going through a mental check list of all the necessary information needed to make Celestia's crown.
"Measurements...Check ".
"Diagram...check ".
"Materials... large Purple gem and Gold. "
"Wait a second large purple gem and Gold?, HOLY SHIT I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY THAT MUCH GOLD AND A GIANT FUCKING GEM! "
"Excuse me Celestia there is a slight problem," I said.
"What is it," she asked concerned.
"I couldn't possibly afford the amount of gold needed and the large purple gem needed." I said nervously.
I open the bag and find the broken parts of the crown she wants me to make a new one of.
"This could work I could carefully extract the gem and then melt down the scraps to cast them into a custom mold, " before any more thoughts could run through my head Celestia says "is it possible to have this down by the end of this week?"
To which I reply, "Celestia, with this, I could get this done by tomorrow"
I moved the bag aside and got serious again, "now lets talk economics, you need to pay a small amoun-"
Before I saw the bags contents, I looked at Celestia who was opening the door and all she said as she walked out was "That should cover it, and keep the change."
When I finally looked down I saw the bag was filled with gold coins.

Making the Crown and the Deal
John POV
After staring at the bags for ten minutes, somewhat in a haze, I stood up grabbed both of the bags, took two steps, and promptly fell on my face, That woke me up real fast, "ow I forgot that gold is heavy as hell." So I proceeded to DRAG the bag to the company safe and put the payment in the metal box. Now time to get to work.
I turned on the electric furnace and let it rise to two-thousand degrees. In the mean time I carefully retrieved the large purple gem from the broken crown. I placed the gold from the broken crown into the furnace... "I AM A FUCKING MORON I DIDN"T MAKE A CAST! " I screamed while I ran to the other end of the building grabbed a block of foam proceeded to craft a crown to Celestia's specifications and ran back to the other end of the building. Where I put the foam crown in a sand, carefully went and grabbed the crucible of now molten gold and using tongs carried it to the mold and made the real crown using the lost foam casting technique.
Ten minutes later I grabbed the crown added the details and then attached the gem. After cleaning the whole thing up, I walked to the front waiting area,sat on the couch, "I'll rest for ten minutes that's it ".
Then I closed my eyes.............then I felt something poke my side............."Wait what? "
Princess Celestia POV
"Why does John continue to sleep, maybe I should nudge him again ", I was about to nudge him again but then I stopped, "Wait ," I could get a bowl of water and then...wait never mind he's getting up ."
"What time is it?", he said scratchily.
I replied,"It's one in the afternoon."
He jumped of the couch in a panic, "he reminds me of a fily that's late for school ." I thought trying not to laugh.
When he was noticeably calmer I said, "John how much progress have you made with my crown, do you need another day?"
Without replying all john did was stand up stretch and walk into what I presumed was his work area.
Not long after, he came out with my crown that looked exactly like it did before it got, and gave it to me.
Before I could thank him and leave he got very serious and said "the gold you gave me, is enough that if I wanted to I could retire right now I live comfortably the rest of my life, Celestia you should know that I'm the kind of man who doesn't take a gift this big lightly, if you or anybody you know ever needs anything made Send them to me and I make It free of charge." "I'm also not the kind of man to give hugs so instead i hope a thank you should hopefully suffice."
I simply smiled and said "John thank you for making my crown, and I might just use that offer sometime, goodbye John."
I then teleported back to Equestria.
