Chapter 15: Back To Normal?

It was an average Monday morning, just like every other one for the past month. You wake up, make yourself a coffee, then you fight with Scootaloo to try and get her up so she can get ready for school. After she leaves you usually wander around Ponyville in a vain attempt to find something to do. Every once in a while you stop by the library to see if Twilight has any letters for you, which was exactly what you were doing today. As you got to the library you heard Twilight shouting at Spike about something, which was normal seeing as Spike was pretty laid back.

Knock, Knock

"Spike!" Twilight yelled from inside.

"I know, just give me a second!" Spike shouted in response. The door suddenly opened and you were greeted by Spike, who had a book stuck on his tail.

"Going for a new look?" you asked jokingly.

"Oh shut up," Spike said as he let you in, "Silver's here!"

"Oh!" you heard something hit the floor in the other room, "Be right there!"

"What's she doing?" you asked as you sat down at the table in the middle of the room.

"Reorganizing her personal books" Spike answered as he sat down across from you. This ended up making things pretty awkward, seeing as you and Spike don't really see eye to eye, that and the two of you have very different personalities. Although the awkward atmosphere didn't last long as Twilight quickly ran into the room, her mane in disarray.

"Hi Silver" she said, sounding like she had just run a marathon.

"Hi, I'm guessing you know why I'm here?"

"Yeah, Spi-" she started to yell.

"You know I'm right here, right?" Spike interrupted her.

"Oh, well, can you get the princess' letters?"

"Yeah, just give me a second" Spike said as he left the room.

"So..." Twilight started, obviously wanting to ask you something.

"'So...' What?"

"What's it like?"

"What's what like?"

"Dating the princess of the night"

"It's really awesome considering the fact that every treats me better now"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, and from what I've heard from Cheerilee, Tiara has stopped making fun of Scootaloo and her friends"

"That's good..."

Awkward silence...

"Hey Silver..." Twilight started.

"Yeah?"

"Can I tell you something?"

"Of course"

"Well, I, uh...." Twilight started to blush, "I kinda had a crush on you when we were in school"

"Really?" you asked, not believing her.

"Yeah, I thought you were really nice, but then you left Canterlot and..."

"Oh, well, I guess there's nothing we can do about it now"

"Yeah..."

"Well, actually, there is one thing I could do for you"

"What's that?"

"Get you a coltfriend!" you said happily, just as Spike came back into the room with a pile of letters.

"Here you go, all of Luna's letters for the last two days"

"Huh, there's less than there normally is, she must be busy"

"Yeah, whatever, I'm going to Rarity's" Spike said as he made his way to the door of the library.

"And I think I'll be off, I need to read all these letters" you said as you made your way to the door as well.

"Okay, see you later" Twilight said as she went back to work.

"Urgh..." you groaned as you put down the last letter, "Why does she have to write so much?"

"Hey Dad!"

"Hey Scoots, how was school?"

"Good, Cheerilee told me to give you this" Scootaloo said as she pulled a piece of paper out of her bag.

"Parent teacher interview..." you mumbled as you read the top of the paper.

"Yeah," Scootaloo said as she dropped her bags to the floor, "Well, I'm off to meet with Sweetie Belle and Applebloom, see you at dinner!"

"Stay out of trouble!" you shouted as she raced out the door. After hearing the door slam shut you went back to the paper she had given you. You knew what it meant, you had been a teacher for a while, but you never thought you'd have to go through it on the other side of the desk. You ended up spending the next hour thinking about what it meant, and you would have done it for longer, but a knock at the door interrupted you. After putting the paper down you went to answer the door, only to find a night guard standing on the other side.

"Sir Star"

"Captain"

"Princess Luna has asked for you to come to Canterlot"

"Ah, I'm guessing you were supposed to be my escort?"

"Yes, the night chariot is waiting for you" the guard said as he moved to the side, revealing the rather terrifying looking chariot behind him.

"That won't be necessary, I have a faster way to get there"

"What do you mean?"

"Just watch" you said as your horn started to glow brightly, and then you disappeared right before the guards eyes.

Thud!

"Damn it, I always aim to high" you groaned as you pulled yourself off the floor. You looked around the room, hoping to find Luna there, but obviously she wasn't expecting you so soon. Knowing that it might be a while before she finishes her royal duties, you hopped onto her bed and drifted off to sleep.

You awoke to the sound of running water, which you knew was coming from Luna's shower. After debating on joining her or not you got up, just as the water stopped running, so you sat back down. Within moments a wet Luna came trotting out of the bathroom, her mane dripping wet.

"Hello there Silver" Luna said as she noticed you sitting on her bed. Sadly you couldn't respond, as this was the first time you had ever seen her just after her shower, and you had to admit, she looked hot! She obviously picked up on it, as she quickly dropped the towel that she had wrapped around her haunches, and then began to trot seductively towards you.

"Well well, it looks like my knight in shining armor is standing at full attention..." Luna said as she made her way onto the bed, pushing you down in the process, "Well, I think there is a damsel in distress right here, and she needs her knight's sword"

"That. Was. Amazing" you panted after Luna rolled to the side.

"Same for me..." Luna said faintly.

The two of you just laid there, not moving at all. After a few minutes you sat up and headed towards her bathroom to clean yourself off. Just as you started the shower you were joined by Luna, who was obviously still in the mood.

"You know we can't do it in here right?"

"Yes, but I would also like to get clean"

"Oh, okay" you said as she climbed in.

"Is something on your mind?"

"Well, Cheerilee is having a parent teacher night at the school, and I was wondering if you might want to go"

"Why of course, when is it?"

"Next Wednesday"

"Perfect, I'll make sure to be there"

"Okay, now then, let's clean ourselves off"

"C'mon! We're gonna be late!" Scootaloo shouted at you from the bottom of the stairs.

"Just give me a minute, I can't decide which tie to wear!" you shouted back as you pulled a dark blue tie out of your closet.

"I think that looks good" Luna said from behind you.

"Ah!" you shouted in surprise, "When did you get here?!"

"Just a minute ago, why?"

"You scared the shit out of me"

"Oh, sorry, I didn't think you would be this tense"

"It's fine" you said as you turned back to your ties, "You look good by the way"

"Thank you, and I really do think you should wear the dark blue one"

"Well, then that's what I'm wearing" you said as you put the tie around your neck.

"ARE YOU COMING OR WHAT?!" Scootaloo yelled.

"We're coming, hold your horses!" you shouted back, "Shall we?"

"Of course" Luna said as she put one of her wings across your back. The two of you quickly made your way down the stairs, only to find Scootaloo staring angrily at you.

"What took you guys so long?" she said as she trotted up to you.

"I couldn't pick which tie to wear" you said honestly

"Yeah, yeah, let's go, Cheerilee said she wanted us at eight, and it's 7:30 now" Scootaloo said as she ran out the door, leaving you and Luna standing at the bottom of the stairs. You quickly began to walk towards the door with Luna at your side. As you got outside Scootaloo ran to your side, and together the three of you went to the the first of many parent teacher nights as a family.

Author's Note

This chapter may seem a bit rushed to some people, but it's meant to show that Silver's life has pretty much returned to normal, except for the fact that Scootaloo now calls him Dad, and the fact that he's dating Luna.

This is the longest story I've written so far, and probably one of the weirdest one's too, but nonetheless, it's finished, and I will start thinking of my next idea very soon...
