Darkshine: A Backstory

A couple years later, in this new part of Canterlot, Darkshine had grown into a kind young filly who loved fun and flying. In her free time, she would fly around in the back with the supervision of her parents, while Nightmare would sit around doing magic spells, mostly to try to ruin Darkshine's life. One day, when Darkshine was out playing, she found a book that was full of techniques and activities to do while flying. She opened it, and it caught her in a cage and pulled her back home! "What? HUH?" Darkshine asked herself when she got back. And right at that moment, a shadow came up behind her.. It was Nightmare Swirls!!!! "What did YOU DO TO ME?!?!" Darkshine shouted, as rage followed her words. "I WAS OUT PLAYING!!!!!!!" "Chillax," Nightmare said as she lifted the door from the cage. "But I had a good reason for it.." "Yeah.. What?" Darkshine asked, upset. "Our parents died.." Nightmare told her. "WHAT?!?!?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE SIS??????" Darkshine yelled. "I actually didn't wanna upset ya for once." Nightmare told her. "WELL YOU DID!!" Darkshine said. She started to run from her sister as fast as she possibly could, but Nightmare pulled her down and caged her up once again. "You're now my slave, sister." she said, with an evil tone dripping from her words. "I couldn't do it before, because our parents were around! Now that they're gone, Do what I want, or I'll cage you!!!" "O-OK...." Darkshine said through her tears. "This starts NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Nightmare shouted evilly, while making herself a throne, crown, and even giving herself wings. Darkshine ran outside to the Everfree Forest, hoping that Nightmare would never find her there, but there were cages everywhere! She was caught, and taken back to where Nightmare was waiting for her to become her slave..
