"So Starlight, why are we doing this again?" Evan asked her while walking towards the castle of friendship.
"Closure, for me at least." Starlight replied. Looking down at the ground, sadly.
"Over the time travel/ inter-dimensional travel thing?" Evan asked. Starlight only nodded looking sadder. Evan winced.
Nice going, dickwad. his conscious said
'Hey try asking about which event she was talking about without directly bringing it up and sounding like a dick.' Evan retorted.
You have a point, but you're still a dick. his conscious replied. Evan sighed.
'Can't win 'em all.'
Try cheering her up with stories of your travels. His conscious suggested.
'That may not be a good idea in the long run,... but what the hell, I'm willing to give it a shot.' Evan conceded.
"Well do I have a few stories for you, and the others." Evan said after his conversation "Because I need to tell you what happened after those escapades." Starlight looked at him confused before she shrugged.
"Alright I'm game." Starlight said.
"So that ends our session today." Twilight said confidently.
"Um, if you don't mind me saying princess, but no it doesn't." Evan said.
"Oh? And would you like to put in some input on the subject?" Twilight asked confused.
"Yes, remember the first time we were in the cafe and I said that I liked your friends better than the alternatives?" Evan asked. Twilight nodded.
"Well, I saw some weird realities when I was on my way to this one, and I got my hands deep into the fights that ensued." Evan said looking at his hands.
"How deep?" Twilight asked.
"Enough to lose my mind at one point and start slaughtering every pony in my way to be stopped and be brought back to sanity, to almost lose it again." Evan said. The ponies at the table were shocked beyond belief.
"I'm so sorry, its all my fault." Starlight said looking down about to cry.
"No, you didn't know that I was there, its just, I need some closure as well." Evan confessed putting a hand on her shoulder while wiping her tears with the other. Twilight cleared her throat and got their attention.
"If you don't mind, you were about to tell your story Evan?" Twilight prodded. "Not that I condone your actions but you've gained my full attention."
"Yes, of course. Oh, and a warning I might cuss, A LOT, so don't be too shocked at my language. This all started when I was coming home from Comic Con..." Evan began.
