"Time to wake up!", a strange voice rang in Twilight's ears. she opens her eyes and when the light hits her eyes her head throbs like somepony was using a jackhammer on it. As her eyes adjust to the light she realizes she is not in her library. She finds herself in a holding cell at the ponyville courthouse.

"What am i doing here?" she asks the tall brown maned guard who she figured was the strange voice that woke her.

"You were arrested last night for starting a fight with her." he points to a light blue unicorn with a snow wight mane and tail in the next cell.

"Trixie?" Twilight asked "When did you get back in town?"

Trixie turns to twilight with a black eye and a bloody lip "Late yesterday evening."she says looking pissed.

"What happened?" Twilight asked.

"You tell me." Trixie said, anger in her voice.

"I don't really rember much but i can tell from this hange over I was probly drunk." Twilight said.

"well that doesn't help, well i guess its not really important. " Trixie said with a little annoyance in her voice.

"So are ether of you pressing charges?" The guard ask.

Twilight looks at Trixie and she looks back and the both say in unison "Nah."

"Ok, well then you both are free to go you just nee to get somepony to come pick you up." the guard says as he gets his keys off his belt to unlock the cells holding the two mares.

"Why do we need somepony to pick us up?" Twilight asks a little confused.

"sorry madam it is just policy, whenever a pony comes in for detox they have to leave with somepony else and then that pony needs to walk them home." the guard said as he get the cells unlocked .

"Ok well I could call one of my friends or spike to come pick me up." Twilight says, "What about you Trixie?"

"I can call one of my family members." Trixie says

"Ok, would you like to use one of pay phones out front." The guard asks

so Twilight and Trixie walk out with the guard and as they enter the main lobby twilight recognize a rainbow maned cyan Pegasus sitting on a bench with her nose in a daring do book"Rainbow?" twilight asked "What are you doing here?"

Rainbow Dash looked up from her book to see twilight standing there and says "waiting to get my weather license renewed but forget about me what the hay are you doing here and is that Trixie?" she points at Trixie who is talking on the pay phone.

"Yeah, i guess me and her got into a drunken fight last night."

"Really well i guess that explanes the black eye " Rainbow says with a snicker.

"Yeah looks like i got her good." Twilight says a little sorry

"No i meant yours." Rainbow says

"What do you mean." twilight walks over to a window and looks at her reflection to see Rainbow dash was right she had a black eye. Rainbow walks up behind her trying to hold back her laughter where as twilight is trying to do the same .

"Rainbow Dash your license is ready to be picked up." said a voice over the loud speaker. Rainbow goes and picks up her license and walks back over to Twilight who is still holding back a laugh.

just then the guard says "Madam the phone is free if you want to use it." both Twilight and Rainbow turn around and look at the guard .

"Hey Hutch whats up?" Rainbow asks the guard. "Hows Starsky doing, still sick?"

"Oh hey Rainbow yeah that's why they still got me on guard duty."the guard says giving Rainbow a high five.

"You know each other?" Twilight asks.

"Well hay yeah we go all the back to the academy" Rainbow said."This is Hutch Twilight and Hutch this is my friend Twilight Sparkle."

"Yeah we already met when i let her out of the holding cell." Huch says

"Wait are you talking about the Wonderbolts academy? But he is an earth pony." Twilight said confused.

"No i mean the police academy I tried to become a cop once. Yeah and i could have made it if i hadn't twisted my hove right in the middle of the obstical coarse."Rainbow said very proudly.

"Yeah rainbow was at the top of the class when she was in the academy." Hutch said

"Wow i never knew you wanted to be a cop Rainbow." twilight said "Why don't you try again?"

"Don't even try twilight me and Starsky have been trying to get her back here for three years but she just won't do it and she won't tell us why." Hutch says.

"May i ask who Starsky is please?" Twilight asks

"Oh he is Hutchs partner." Rainbow says, "they drive around in that cart you know the red one with the wight stripe. Whats it called the zebra three or something like that?

"Yep that's it." Hutch said proudly, "So going back to before the phone is open looks like the other girl left already."

"Oh yeah, thanks I'll just call spike to come get me he is probably wondering where i am." Twilight says

"Uh he is with the CMC right now Twi." rainbow says

"I guess I could call rarity." Twilight says

She's at the spa with Fluttershy and you know she dosen't like to be interuped, and its zap apple season so applejack is too busy on the farm but i'm not so i can walk you home if that's ok with you and Hutch here." Rainbow says as she nudges Hutch.

"Fine with me Rainbow." Hutch says

"Ok well then lets go Rainbow." twilight says as she walks towrads the the door.

"Hey wait for me, see ya Hutch tell Starsky to get well soon." Rainbow says as she races to catch up with twilight.

"See ya later and i will." Hutch yells to Rainbow.

hey this is my first fan fic so hit me with your best criticism i will take it an try to improve for the next chapter.

i want to try to make this a four chapter story but i don't know when I'll post the next chapter just depends on how this chapter dose.
