The Story of Studs pt.1
Chapter 1:The Beginning
Load Full StoryNext ChapterI awoke to the familiar sound of the alarm clock beeping. "Another day another twenty-four hours of misery i have to endure."
I'm in a dead end job with next to no money to my name. I live off coffee for breakfast and TV dinners for well dinner. "Oh crap!" I exclaimed as I noticed the time. Work was going to start in about twenty minutes. I quickly got dressed and ran to work.

Well that's the end of my career. I was late to work for the sixth time in two weeks. "Well I guess I'll have to go home and play Call of Duty or watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on youtube. I can still remember the last episode of the second season. I don't know why that one stands out so much, but it does.
The walk home was boring just as the walk to work had been. None the less it was a bit warmer than it usually was in fall here and the leaves were yet to change color. "I don't know why but I have the feeling that something isn't quite right," I thought to myself. As I turn the corner onto my street I can see a group of children playing at the park that was once not so run-down. "I guess the city just stopped caring for it," I say with a hint of sadness in my voice. With that, a smile finds its way onto my face from watching the children play. As I arrive at home I decide to order a pizza to change things up a little bit, even though there's not much change in ordering a pizza.
Anyway, back to my "life". I live in a small town called Forthsville in Colorado. It's a quaint little place with absolutely no tourism what-so-ever. The only attraction we have is a small campground about three miles passed our last building. Denver is eighty-six miles south of here so we don't expect anyone up here at all. I've thought about mo... the doorbell rings. I get up and walk across my living room to grab my wallet and proceed to the door.
"Pizza deliver... oh, hey Studs!"
"I told you I don't like being called Studs!" I yelled back.
"You never seemed to mind before, why do you care now?"
"I admit back when i used to play football for school I liked it but i don't think it fits me anymore." i let out a heavy sigh after that statement "Chaz...I." I started.
"Sorry Studs, I have to go. I'll talk to you later ok? it's just I have other deliveries to make, bye!" He shouted back as he ran to his car.
"See you later Chaz!" I yelled back. Anyway, I've thought about moving down to Denver, but I haven't had the time or the money... Well I guess I have the time now. Hmm... maybe I could get a job as an ad writer or a telemarketer. Who knows; the possibilities are endless. I just have to find my way. I start to smile because I realized what I had said.
