The Exception
"What was life growing up in the human world?" Let me tell ya: it sucked. Well, my specific circumstance was pretty bad and I swear it's harder for me to understand my own kind versus human kind. I guess I'm exceptional, heh... you get the point.
"What was life like growing up in the human world?" Yeah, I get asked this a lot, and the answer is always the same: why the hell do you care?
Well, it's just hard to explain that yeah, it's different, but not where or why you think. I'll be the first to tell you that I didn't grow up in nearly the best of circumstances or places. Nor did I grow up with all of that poofy, poofy, nieve crap, and because of that, I just think differently.
In the end, I guess I'm exceptional.
Heh heh… title puns.
Had this idea in my head for like a year and finally decided to write it down. Expect swearing and other forms of "I don't give a crap." Also, don't be surprised if I make any minor edits like closing up plot holes or refining character voice.
DISCLAIMER: As it turns out, teenagers are not very politically correct.
Also, I mention religion. As long as you don't freak out at the mere thought of religion you'll be fine.
