Load Full StoryNext ChapterIf you could do anything what would you do? ‘Cause for most of my life I would’ve wanted to fly; fly anywhere other than where I was. And I mean anywhere, fricken send me to Siberia. I don’t care, I can take the cold (winters were in no shortage where I lived… come to think of it I didn’t get rid of them by moving, they actually got worse).
But yeah, I've had a bunch of dreams and they pretty much all went unfulfilled. Actually, I can’t really say my childhood was great at all. I bet most people would consider it one of the worst ever, I mean… ever. It just sucked, like the federal government's survey benchmark for an impoverished and generally sucky life.
But in retrospect, I understand it now and how to, for lack of a better word, exploit it. Yeah, all that warm a fuzzy stuff people assume I’m like a missionary for after just looking at me is just plain bullshit. What actually made me for once care about my life was not majestic, beautiful, glorious, or even noticeable. Instead, all it took was something rather simple, yet immensely powerful.
