Learning The Truth
A Formidable Flashback
Previous ChapterMom lead us into her secret chamber where had so many pictures of her and this man who looked like a changeling. They looked so happy together that it was hard to imagine what went wrong. There was one where mom was in a wedding dress and the man was in a tux, and they were kissing for the camera. And then there was a picture were mom was holding two bundles while one laying next to her. Plus mom seemed to be crying in the picture because her eyes were red and her checks were shining.
Your father, Fireball, was a changeling. He was sent by the Queen of the changelings in order to get close to me so the Queen could find a way to overthrow me and rule all of Equestria. When we met, Fireball looked like the type of person who liked to fight just because it was fun. As I got to know him, I found out that he was really a nice person with a strange personality. Plus his hair was was amazingly crazy. He told me that he got his name from his hair." she said chuckling at the memory. "That's the reason why your hair isn't normal. His hair was long and it had all three of your colors in it. When he was happy, it turned red. When he was quite or when he watched me, his hair turned green. But when he was mad at someone or frustrated, his hair turned blue." she said as she turned around and walked over to a giant stained glass window. It had a picture of a man with bid red wings that holes in them plus he had holes in his arms and legs and he seemed to be watching us as if to say "I finally see my boys and the look just like me."
"So that's why our hair is like this! exclaimed Flare in glee.
Solar and I glared at him while mom and Aunt Luna chuckled at his little display. They then burst out laughing when Solar and I looked at them like we were the adults telling them not to encourage him.
"They look just like Ball when he would tell me not to encourage you to be the one to start a fencing match!" Aunt Luna siad between laughs.
"Wait a minute" I said as they stopped laughing. "Dad used to fence?"
"Of course he did." Aunt Luna exclaimed as she threw her arms in the air. "He was one damn good opponent, plus why do you three think you like blades and are so good at using them?"
"I always thought that we learned that from mom." Solar said as he looked at me for help.
"Well, we can talk about this in the morning." mom said as she made her way to the door. "Right now we all must get some rest."
"Race ya! Flare said to Solar who accepted and proceeded to run for our room.
Mom and Aunt Luna left me in the room alone. I looked at the Window with my dad on it and wondered why he wasn't here. The only thing I got was a strange shift in the temperature as I looked at him. It was as if he was standing right next to me. I turned my head to my right and saw nothing. But when I turned to the left, I saw a man looking at the window with me.
"Who the hell are you?!?" I asked as I got into my battle stance.
He looked at me and when I saw his eyes, I somehow knew exactly who it was.
"Dad?"
When I told my brothers about dad showing up after everyone left, the called me crazy because they said that dad would have showed up when mom was talking about him. But when I told them that I knew it was him because his eyes had our colors, they had fell silent. That's when I knew I had to show them. So after we had left the room from watching our favorite movie for the umpteenth time we made our way to the secret chamber. When we were inside with the door closed, the room got much colder. I looked at the sopt where I saw dad left and saw him looking at me with a smile on his face. I nudged Solar and Flare to look, and when they did, Solar fainted and Flare just woke him up and asked.....
"Dad?"
He simply said" Hello boys, it's good to finally meet you three!" as he smiled.
