My Little Cyber
The Showdown
Previous ChapterIt was an hour or so past sunset, and the shadow of the evening descended upon the small town. Unbeknownst to the residences, a small group of dangerous individuals were camped outside of a large tree house, ready to breach the home within a moments notice.
A Fixed-Idea let out a yawn, bringing a tired green hand to cover his mouth. He was immediately smacked on the side of the head by a small colt.
"Pay attention you fool!" commanded Chromosome, "Watch out for anything suspicious!"
"Um, what do you mean 'suspicious'?" the Brute asked.
The short-tempered colt was grinding his teeth. How could his father create a 'super being' that was so moronic?
"Listen here, slime for brains, where looking for-"
The boy was immediately cut off as a shadow burst through a series of wooden boards covering the hole on the side of the library.
Chromosome immediately directed his attention towards the rest of the fixed ideas.
"After them!" he shouted.
The green monstrosities began to stumble over one another in an attempt to breach the library as quickly as possible. It was almost quite comical.
"Hurry, you fools, before they get away!"
Inside the dim library, Twilight stared at the mysterious green vial in silence, wondering if the hidden secrets it held. She was immediately disturbed as she heard a crash by the broken window, and witnessed the woman clad in black quickly making her way towards the unicorn.
"Out. Now." her voice commanded.
"Why, what's going on?"
A loud banging emitting from the floor below provided enough of an answer. She directed her attention back towards the woman clad in black.
"Please," begged the woman, "give me the vial"
With a sigh, Twilight held the mysterious substance out towards the woman. She took one last look at it before handing it off to the mysterious woman.
There was a crash as the front door was kicked down below. The two women heard a child yell "Quickly, find them!"
The woman quietly turned towards Twilight.
"Hide." was all she whispered.
Twilight hurriedly made her way behind the woman, and crouched behind a large wooden book stand, hiding herself from the coming threat.
In a series of loud thumps came from the staircase, and a Fixed-Idea poked his head out from behind the railing.
"She's up here!"
In an instant, a much larger herd of monsters appeared along side the giant. A small colt marched his way around the mob, and stood tall in front of the group of stallions, glaring at the lone figure.
The woman lifted the front of her hat, revealing her features for the young colt.
"Is it me, you're looking for?"
The boy silently stared at the woman, utterly shocked by view.
"It's a Cyber..." he muttered, "Y-you're Cybersix."
He then shook his head, and pointed an accusing finger at her direction.
"So you're the one who has been disrupting our operations."
Placing the hat back onto her head, Cybersix held the vial directly out in front of her.
"Kiddie wants his science experiment back?" mocked Cybersix, "Well come and catch me, little boy!"
In one swift motion, she flipped out the open hole in the wall, and proceeded to run along the roofs of the cottages.
"No! You four, after her!" Chromosome commanded.
A pack of Fixed-Ideas stumbled after the rouge Cyber, while Chromosome directed his attention to the single brute left behind.
"You, you're coming with me back to the warehouse. We need to evacuate, now!"
They hastily made their way of the the library, and out onto the path of the library.
Twilight then quietly lifted herself out of her hiding place.
"Warehouse, huh?" she said aloud, "I suppose that's one way to narrow the search."
On the rooftops of Ponyville, Cybersix was leading the pack of furious Fixed-Ideas away from the library.
"That's it," she thought, "right this way."
In a single leap, she launched herself over an adjacent street, and hopped onto the top of the town hall. The monsters followed suit, though at dramatically slower pace than the woman.
In one last jump, she launched herself onto the very top of the building, and set herself on the rounded poll at the top.
The Fixed-Ideas cautiously yet threateningly made their way towards the seated individual.
"Hey, bozo's!" she called out, "Next time, try a salad!"
The confused monsters slowly gazed down towards the cracks forming in the roof. Fear overtook them, as the foundation crumbled away, causing the stallions to fall below.
"Wow, somebody's gotta fix that broken roof..." muttered Cybersix.
She turned her attention towards the outskirts of town, where a few glimpses of lights where pouring out of a boarded up warehouse.
"Now, onto the matter at hand."
The inside of the warehouse was chaotic. Various Fixed-Ideas scrambled to load a cart full of various scientific and magical instruments.
"Faster you fools!" shouted Chromosome, "We can't afford to leave a single piece of evidence behind!"
Hidden behind a stack of nearby crates, a purple unicorn was examining the scene taking place in front of her.
"What are all of these?" Twilight questioned, "What the hay are these psychopaths planning?"
She quickly ducked as another one of the minions made his way past the hiding spot.
"Whatever it is, I need to stop it."
Outside of the old warehouse, Cybersix was witnessing what appeared to be the mobilization of a large group of monsters.
"One annoying ring leader, surrounded by a pack of these mutants." she told herself aloud, "This shouldn't be too difficult."
Quietly making her way though a broken window, Cybersix softly landed onto a metal platform.
Leaping onto one of the many crossbeams above the warehouse she silently hopped her way towards the group of thugs.
When she got into a comfortable position, she brought two fingers towards her mouth, and quickly let out a high pitched whistle.
Throughout the warehouse, the high pitched whistle pierced the ears of the creatures down below. They desperately covered their ears in an attempt to shield themselves from the blaring noise invading the structure.
One by one, the lights above the operation to burst, wrapping the once lively warehouse in darkness.
"What? Who goes there?" Chromosome cried out into the night.
He was responded with a loud smack, as one of his minions hit the floor, unconscious.
Swinging elegantly on a suspended chains, Cybersix gracefully landed onto a different set of crossbeams.
"Isn't it a past your bedtime, boy?" she mocked.
The colt let out a high pitched growl, before turning towards the group of awestruck end thugs.
"What are you waiting for, after her!" he screamed.
The rest of the group charged after her, while Chromosome reached out after a single monster, and pulled him down towards his head.
"Not you!" he demanded, "You need to load this cart!"
On the other side of the warehouse, Cybersix was brawling with the group of thugs. One threw a punch down towards her, which Cybersix avoided by quickly leaping into the air. She landed on top of the mobsters shoulders, the proceeded to leap away. The Fixed-Idea was tackled by one of his brothers.
Landing gently to the floor, Cybersix then drove a powerful upper cut to another one of the unfortunate henchman, sending him toppling through the air.
Hidden in the back, Twilight stood watching the fight in astonishment. This woman was single handedly taking on that group of criminals, and she was somehow winning!
However, she turned her attention towards a Fixed-Idea, loading a humongous bolt into an equally impressive crossbow. A look of horror covered her face, as she turned her attention towards the lone woman.
"Cybersix, look out!" she called out.
The woman shot a glance at Twlight, and then quickly turned her head towards the armed minion.
With a squeeze of the trigger, the bolt was sent soaring through the air, heading directly towards the woman wrapped in shroud. Cybersix briskly leaped away from the bolt, only seconds before the impact.
The bulb discharged its payload, erupting in a terrifying blast. Igniting the many crates abandoned in the warehouse, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the old building in flames.
Above the inferno, Cybersix was battling the remnants of Chromosomes forces. Kicking the legs of one unfortunate soul sent him falling towards the flames below. A kick towards another thug sent him toppling backwards, and befalling the same fate as his brother.
Cybersix leaped another steel crossbeam, soaring towards a metal shelving unit, filled to the brim with old parcels and packages.
"What are you waiting for? Pull you worthless dolt!" Chromosome commanded. The Fixed-Idea desperately started to make his way towards the exit of the doomed building.
Positioning herself behind the shelf, Cybersix began pushing the giant metal unit. It slowly tilted towards the cart, before coming down on top the the criminals below.
Chromosome narrowly escaped wave of old and packages, desperately jumping away from the impending doom. He furiously turned his attention towards the woman.
"You'll pay for this!" the colt cried, before hastily his way towards the nearest exit.
Cybersix was about to follow suit, until she heard a cry coming from behind.
"Cybersix, help!" Twilight yelled. She was surrounded by a blazing inferno, effectively blocking off any exit she had.
"Hold on!" replied Cybersix as she made her way towards the helpless mare. Jumping over the flames, she landed next to the scared unicorn.
"Where do we go?" Twilight asked desperately, "We're trapped!"
Cybersix quickly picked up the terrified mare.
"What ever you do, hold on tight."
With Twilight in her arms, Cybersix leaped away from the raging inferno, and hopped her way through one of the broken windows. Soaring through the air, the two woman softly landed into a patch of grass, a safe distance away from the condemned warehouse.
Twilight shakily looked up at the woman, her large violet eyes peering at the woman.
"Y-you saved me." she stuttered.
Cybersix gently placed the woman on the ground, before slowly backing away from the shocked mare.
"Wait!" Twilight called out, "Will I ever see you again?"
Cybersix took one last look at the unicorn, before leaping back into the darkness of the night.
Hidden beneath the many dangers of the Everfree Forest, there laid a secret underground complex, full of various threatening experiments. Sitting in a lavish leather chair, a red stallion was speaking into a strange tube like device.
"What do you mean you were forced to evacuate?" the Stallion questioned.
"Wait, one of my experiments?" he continued.
"Cybersix?" he asked astonished, "Direct the rest of the units towards the base in Manehatten then."
The red stallion the placed the device onto the desk, and quietly sulked in the dark.
"I can't believe it. After all of these years. Cybersix, she's alive."
Within the town of Ponyville, the woman wrapped in shroud gazed off into the distance.
"You can come for me Doctor." she stated aloud, "This time, I won't run."
