Almost an hour later Ordis managed to arrive right outside the schoolhouse. with only five minutes to spare

"Operator would you like me to drop you off a little further away to maintain concealment? he asked, and Bloom shook her head

"No time drop me." She trotted to the indent and laid flat. It revolved, and she fell two stories right smack dab in the middle of some of her schoolmates. Some ran others stared. Sweetie Belle smiled watching her friend tumble and land with the grace of a gymnast. She ran up to here where others ran or just stared in shock.

"Morning Bloom, Morning Chroma!" She greeted.

Bloom smiled, and Chroma's hide flared happily in greeting.

"Morning Sweetie Belle." Sweetie looked up to where Ordis sped away.

"Nice landing" The unicorn commented causing Bloom to rub the back of her neck.

"Too much?" She asked sheepishly looking around at the ponies who either were running or staring.

"Is it really you? Applebloom?" a familiar voice asked, and Bloom turned her head to see Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon staring and squinting at her. Bloom went on the defensive.

"The whole town thought you were..." Diamond started

"What happened? you look weird." Spoon finished. Before Bloom could start Sweetie stepped between them.

"She got hurt really bad by some bad alien then a good alien named a Tenno used a part of himself to heal her." She pointed to Chroma "That's what he is. That's Chroma on her back, He makes her a Superhero."

The bullies faces were stuck in disbelief.

"That is the most ridiculous story-" Bloom cut Diamond off with a quick spark of fire and a cocky grin at her look of shock. The two scrambled back.

"You're a freak!" Spoon shouted scared.

"No, she's awesome!" Sweetie yelled, and Bloom blushed a little at the sudden praise. Bloom opened her mouth, but Chroma spoke in her mind.

"Tenno are silent in the face of their enemy."

"You want me to not talk?" She asked and felt the hood nod slightly

"Silence can affect an opponent as much as talking can let's try it."

Bloom closed her mouth let a simple smile grow and turned away from them to walk towards the schoolhouse. She looked at Sweetie and motioned for her to follow. Sweetie looked confused but followed. Diamond and Spoon watched them trot away before starting to make several disgruntled noises. Bloom couldn't stop the giggle that escaped her mouth. Sweetie covered her snicker with a hoof as they entered the school.

"Good morning every- Oh Celestia is that you?" Miss Cheerile asked thinking she saw a ghost.

Bloom nodded slowly looking into her teacher's watery eyes only breaking contact to dig the scroll out of her bag. The teacher took it gingerly like she was afraid it would poof away. As she unfurled it, Bloom stood awkwardly not quite sure what was actually written on the Royal scroll. Until a British voice called out.

"Whose the new student?" Bloom turned to see Pipsqueak and a huge smile shot across her face. The colt eyes went wide, and he put a hoof on his chest as if to contain his surprise.

"Blimy it can't be Apple Bloody Bloom back from the great beyond to give us one last hurrah I see!" he shouted, and Bloom hopped over to him excitedly. Her eyes blazed happily, and her tail swished Pip jumped forward till he noticed some of the changes,

"Woah what happened to you? That looks bloody close to a dragon on your back!" He started looking her up and down. She crossed her leg like she was covering herself. "Anyways I'll have to get the full tale at break I'm super happy your back Applebloom." He said so happily it brought a tear to Bloom's eye. She drew him into a close hug. Not noticing the confused and kinda hurt look from Sweetie who pushed it aside not fully understanding.

After a moment Pip drew away. "Blimy your warm that's gotta be some sort of dragon." His smile turned into an eager grin "This is gonna be one heck of a story." The colt went to his seat, and Bloom turned back to her teacher. Cheerilee wiped an eye and looked at the little hybrid.

"You've been through a lot haven't both of you." Cheerilee looked into Bloom's eyes that yearned for something ordinary causing them to glow and swirl. Quickly refocusing on her nose than the extra set of eyes that were on Chroma's hide. "I'm Miss Cheerilee welcome to my class Chroma. Both sets of Chroma's eyes formed happy half circles and Cheerilee watched in both parts horror and fascination as one of Chroma's arms unwrapped from Blooms front legs and was held out in a handshake gesture. The teacher recoiled then saw the hopeful look Bloom and her new friend had. As if pleading to not be rejected, so Miss C took a deep breath and put her hoof in its claw.

After they shook Chroma put his arm back around Bloom's leg where he was molded to fit. Bloom looked at her with an encouraging smile.

"See that wasn't to bad right?" Bloom asked, and the teacher let out a breath a little ashamed. Bloom sat back on her haunches and held out a hoof shoe up in a nonchalant fashion. "Don't worry Miss C we get it this is really, really.... Really weird." She gave an awkward shrug to show she was trying to make this easier for the teacher and Cheerilee nodded understanding.

"Welcome back I'm glad your ok Bloom." She said simply

"We're glad to be back. Is my seat still mine?" She asked turned to look, and Cheerilee smiled.

"I'm sure no one will stop you."

Bloom and Sweetie made their way to their seats. Every student that entered stopped to stare at Bloom to make sure they weren't seeing things. Some that walked in really late didn't even notice her merely rushing to there seats to not be counted tardy. But Bloom noticed that Scootaloo was missing still. She usually was here by now if not earlier. Bloom wanted to ask Sweetie, but an Idea came to her head.

"It probably won't work she doesn't have a communications unit theirs no-way she could receive the signal-"

"Hey, Sweetie Belle you seen Scoots?" She asked in her mind, and Sweetie suddenly sat a bit straighter her horn was glowing slightly, and she looked surprised. She looked at Bloom raising an eyebrow.

"Oh cool, you can hear me!" Bloom's face remained neutral, but her mental voice was excited.

"How in the void!" Chroma suddenly exclaimed, and Sweetie flinched, and Chroma's volume dropped "You must be using her horn as some sort of antenna to relay communications."

"Who said that! and what do you mean my horn?" Sweetie thought in her mind, and Bloom could hear it. She had to stop herself from wiggling excitedly.

"Oh, this is so cool! So, Sweetie, it's Bloom see we Tenno have something that lets us talk between us and somehow I added you to my squad talk! But have you seen Scoots?" She asked again, and the unicorn said no trying not to physically speak.

"How is this possible?" Sweetie asked, and Bloom's voice changed to Chroma's

"I'm not entirely sure..." Sweetie couldn't help but be shocked by hearing the pelt speak.

"YOU!-" She started aloud but quickly closed her mouth and tried again "You spoke like words."

"This is how Tenno usually communicate but somehow Bloom's connected to you." Chroma once again mentally scratched his head

"You have a really cool voice Chroma...Wait I didn't mean to say er think that or that AppleBloom is-Don't think about it, Don't think about it, Don't think about it...." Sweetie repeated that mantra as Bloom slowly turned her head towards her.

"Have you seen Scootaloo?" Bloom asked aloud, her friend broke out of her mantra then shook her head no. Bloom looked concerned turning forward, then looking back.

"We'll talk about that later," Bloom said somewhat forebodingly, and Sweetie stiffened and didn't respond.

Cheerilee started attendance reading of the list yet Scootaloo was still absent. Bloom began to worry the part of town the pegasus went through was rough by Ponyville standards. What if some cosmic horror had followed the tenno.

Chroma popped on her screen. "We would have detected any void fissure or ships." He stated, but Bloom's mind was wondering towards the worst.

"Ok, what if some bad pony got her?" Bloom asked

Ordis popped up firey red on her H.U.D "Then we will find them, and they will choke on their intestine!" Ordis spoke like he was glitching but the whole statement, not just parts. It happened so fast Chroma was the only thing keeping her in her seat. But Ordis's sudden rage spooked Chroma as well judging by how full his optics were when he returned to her vision. The subtle hum of a linset whooshed over the school, and Bloom grumbled.

She prepared to scold him when Scootaloo walked into class looking frustrated and awkward. Soon followed by an unmistakeable Warframe. She walked in all dignified until she saw the class. She put her hands to her beak.

"This planet is too much." The bird frame saw Bloom and stood there for a second till something audibly clicked, and her feathers ruffled.

She pointed a purple hand "Your the missing Chroma. By the void your just as cute as the rest of this world!" She gushed, and Bloom looked utterly betrayed. "I'll just have to get to know you later. Right now I'm just dropping off Little Bird." Scootaloo groaned, and Bloom cocked an eyebrow.

"Miss!" Cheerilee called to the frame who jumped over to her and shook her hoof enthusiastically. She and the teacher exchanged words, but Bloom couldn't hear them seeing Zephyr nod several times then walked out waving cheerfully to the teacher and Scootaloo. Scootaloo for her part was trying her best to become one with her desk.

As soon as the frame was out of the room, a blue colt raised his hoof then began speaking in a panicked rush.

"What was that and who slash what is sitting in Bloom's desk?"

"Well, Archer you see um..." The teacher started but floundered on a proper explanation. Bloom sighed and got up to the front of the class feeling awkward as everypony's undivided attention was on her. She took a deep breath, It was gonna be a long day... (About two chapters long of a day)
