The kids understandably were wary of the six-foot-tall man in the bronze wide-brimmed hat that covered his face with a cycloptic eye. When Pip spoke up, "You one of Bloom's out of town friends?" He walked up boldly and spoke bolder.

Teshin put his hands on his hips proudly. "I am Teshin of the Tenno Conclave. I would like to spectate the game your about to play."

Pip smiled at him "Sounds alright to me mate. what about you lot got any issues?" All the other colts and fillies shook their head no, and Pip Squeak pointed to Featherweight. "oh Featherweight give em the rundown he can ref with you." The mentioned pegasus stepped forward on long spindly legs.

"Hi, mister." The Pegasus greeted a little unsure.

"Hello, Featherweight. Tell me how many teams are there?" Teshin asked

"Two sir." Teshin smiled and turned dramatically with his arm out

"The teams shall be Team Sun and Team Moon you all should agree on which team is which," Teshin announced

Pip and Rumble looked at each other with a competitive grin. Both colts were designated captains, and the teams were picked. Feather Weight gave Teshin the rundown on Hoof ball rules. It was remarkably similar to Lunaro just without holding the ball. As the teams were finalized Teshin knelt down and looked at the Skinny pegasus colt,

"Do you not wish to play with the other?" He asked, and Feather looked at his whistle.

"I'd like to, but Ma doesn't want me rough housing it's really easy for me to break something, and I'm not fast enough to avoid getting hurt." The white and brown Colt shrugged.

"It's good to know one's limit but do not let them define you.' Teshin let the words of wisdom sink in.

"Ya, but there is something I'm real good at I have an eye for detail which is why I'm good at Photography and spotting cheaters and other stuff that would ruin the fun for others." The colt smiled proudly, and Teshin smiled proudly. The two teams came up, and Teshin looked at them with approval it seemed each teach was built with a role in mind for each player.

"Which Team is which?"

Pip stepped forward "We're Team Moon."

"And were Team Sun!" Rumble countered proudly. Teshin nodded and looked to Feather Weight.

The white colt cleared his throat "Alright everypony I want a clean fun game." He floated to the center of the field for the bit toss. Feather looked at both captains. They nodded, and he flipped the bit, It landed Moon. Before Feather could make the announcement, Teshin spoke with a booming voice like he was talking through a megaphone.

"Team Moon has the Ball." He held out a fan, and both teams got into position. They watched the fan eagerly. He dropped it and shouted, "Begin!"

Pip took off moving the ball furiously downfield. Teshin was impressed but not surprised by the little colts speed. Rumble dived to steal, but Pip kicked it past him and leaped over the Pegasus. But another Colt took the ball as Pip tried to catch up. Teshin watched in amusement as the ball passed back and forth between the Colts and Filles. Team Sun was racing towards Moon's goal.

Rumble turned and bucked the ball as hard as he could. Teshin prepared to raise the score fan when Moon's goalie a purple filly caught it in her front hooves.

"An Impressive save by Team Moon." Teshin praised, and the Filly looked incredibly proud of herself. Feather Weight looked horrified. He ducked behind Teshin. The Filly pulled a leg back

"Pippy NO!' Pipsqueak tried to warn but too late. The Filly kicked the ball and produced a resounding smack and the ball shot over most players heads to land all the way across the field on the other teams out of bounds.

The purple filly with orange pigtails looked guilty. "Oops."

Pipsqueak face hooved. "Aww, Pippy we told you not to kick it that hard."

"Sorry I got really excited." The filly said embarrassed. She said with a very southern accent. Teshin stroked his chin.

"It's ok Pippy just next time roll it to one of us." Pipsqueak explained, and she nodded with a smile and the game continued. Feather Weight stopped hiding, and Teshin spoke.

"That girl has tremendous strength." He said impressed. Featherweight looked at him with wide eyes.

"Sir you don't know the half of it, that was fairly calm for her. One time she kicked the ball all the way crosstown and still knocked Miss Lyra right out."

"Does she have issues controlling her strength?" Teshin asked. The skinny colt shook his head.

"No usually she's fine, it's just when she get's super happy." Feather explained, and Teshin nodded.

The game was close but when the bell rang Team Sun was the victor.

"Team Sun had turned Team Moon to ash." Teshin announced the victor and Rumble's team cheered "But our greatest lessons are learned in defeat." Teshin reminded, and Pip's team nodded already planning for the next game. Both Teams joined in one group buzzing and chatting about various parts of the game, and Teshin approached the purple filly he crouched to be on her level.

"I am Teshin what is your name little one?" He asked, and she was a little unsure but introduced herself.

"Pippy Longtails."

"You showed tremendous strength out there." He praised, and she blushed and tapped his chest. There was a crack, and Teshin's face tightened for a split second.

"Thanks, Mister Teshin have a nice day," and the filly bounded off happily leaving the Master of the Conclave as he struggled to keep a calm expression. That "Tap" felt like an Atlas punch to the sternum. Featherweight trotted up to him.

"You ok Mr. Teshin?" He asked raising an eyebrow, and Teshin looked at him perfectly calm.

"Hmm yes I'm merely admiring the grass and soil it's so rich." His voice was perfectly calm, and he even smiled, and the Colt gave him a weird look before continuing to class. Teshin kept calm and collected as he scanned the area to make sure no one else was around him before falling to his knee's putting a hand to the stinging in his chest. Wolfy trotted over and licked his face.

Teshin let out a groan and patted the dog as he stood.
