Twilight was frantically scratching down notes as she observed each frame. From Frost's Demeanor, Nyx's energetic yet calm nature, Volt's Brash and competitiveness, And Vauban's down to earthiness Personally she wondered if each frame had variable stats or if each shared a baseline.

She'd managed to get some data out of Ordis on some of the different frames. But out of the ones here only Excalibur, Nyx, and Volt were ones she had any prior knowledge of. She took note of temperament, how they interacted with each other and the ponies. She didn't notice the frame standing over her until she felt a chill. Shivering she looked over to see Frost reading her notes over her shoulders.

"Your quite studious aren't you?" He observed

"You mean egghead, and no one is more eggheaded then Twi," Rainbow corrected with a snort. Then went back to watching Pinkie and Volt have a cupcake eating contest. Twilight Growled and blushed, and the Frame chuckled.

"so what do you know of the Tenno?" He asked and Twilight's brow knit.

"The Tenno themselves not much. Ordis has been tightlipped about them. Your frames I was able to get a little about Excal, Nyx, and Volt. But only abilities, Which Nyx's psionic talent would be fascinating to learn more about." She looked at the frame, but Rainbow had floated over eavesdropping.

"Wait, your Psychic?" she pointed a hoof at Nyx next to Flutters. Who perked up at the question.

"Yes, I am Nyx Manipulator of minds! and lover of cute stuff!" she called proudly.

"Cool Prove it!"Rainbow called back only to be pulled into a hug by the green and grey frame. Nyx started nuzzling her cooing and Rainbow struggled to free herself.

"NO! not that part! The Psychic part!" Everyone laughed, and Rainbow huffed smoothing her hair trying to regain cool points.

"Oh ok" Rainbow got the feeling Nyx was staring really hard at her.
Oh crap, what if she can... Don't think about it, Don't think about it, Don't think about it...Crap.

"So whose this Spitfire and is there suppose to be a hole in her uniform?" Nyx asked innocently, and Rainbow turned bright red. As all the ponies stared in silence for a second before Pinkie and Applejack hit the floor laughing. Twilight blushed from second-hand embarrassment, and Rarity covered her mouth to laugh like a lady.

"That's what ya get for poking a bear Dash," Aj said between snorts.

"Ya, ya laugh it up" Rainbow let out annoyed and stalked back over to a corner. only for Volt to slide over.

"So where was the hole?" Dash buried her head in her hooves.

"Shut up, Just shut up." she shook her head and Volt shrugged. Popping another cupcake behind his mouth plate.
Twilight was too busy feeling embarrassed for Rainbow she jumped when a green-gloved hand touched her notepad.

"Your mind is so busy, It just teams with questions."
Twilight stammered, and Nyx touched Twi's horn causing Twi to stop instantly. She felt the power of the frame seep hungrily into her mind. She felt it brush against the magic in her horn. It was weird, Alien then it became more forceful it touched her magic.

Twilight's eyes flared white, and a purple orb started to charge at the tip.
The wind picked up gaining everyone's attention as the two started to float. The sound of popping as the air heated. Then in a purple burst the two split in a shock wave of magic that knocked all those around back. Twilight hit a wall and didn't move just jerked slightly as her horn sparked and sputtered. Nyx wasn't doing better her whole frame sparked with, magical energy.

Fluttershy rushed to Twi's side but got a jolt of magic that sent her wings on end. in a familiar way.

"Girls it's the elements!" the remaining ponies rushed over.

"OK then what do we do?" dashed asked and Fluttershy looked Between Nyx and Twilight.

"Twilight might be able to release the magic she's used to it but what if Nyx can't. So Um OH Celestia what do we do?" Fluttershy looked at the two rapidly.

"Maybe we can siphon the energy out of her. We are the elements after all." Rarity offered and Started to approach Nyx.

"But we can't take a change with Twi's life she's our friend!" Rainbow argued flying in front of the white unicorn. Rarity looked uncertain, and the Frames gathered around them.

"Somebody explain whats going on!" Frost shouted over the confusion. As he approached Nyx only to get Lashed by the magic. Shaking his hand to regain feeling, He looked at the ponies for an answer.

"it's Magical overload we need to dissipate it... We six can possibly do it for Twilight, But That would leave Nyx on her own." Rarity explained, and Frost shook his head.

"Our frames are conduits for energy maybe we can do the same."
He walked over to Nyx preparing for a system shock. "I'll give my own life if it means one of Mine lives."
Volt came up beside him.

"And I'm sure as hell not abandoning my friend!" he shouted getting pumped.

"I have no honest idea whats going on. But let's do it." Vauban came up still munching a muffin.
Cal Rushed forward and grabbed Nyx's hand. His whole body convulsed as the energy ran through his frame.

"So she can see all the good in this world can offer and laugh about it!" He shouted determined, and Pinkie whooped and grabbed Twilight's hoof. Her eyes glowed

"OOH Tingly!" Pinkie giggled as Rarity Gripped her hoof letting the energy travel. Frost grabbed Cal by the shoulder His light's flickered and blared. Volt and Dash joined their friends in unison. Vauban and Applejack nodded at each other and took there place in the chain. Fluttershy grabbed Dash's tail her wings stood on end. The magic was intense, and it felt like fire running through there veins and frames. But they could handle as it cycled and flowed slowly getting weaker as it fed through the ponies. The Tenno was convulsing and shaking as the magic wrecked there systems.

"It's not enough we need one more!... One more Tenno!" Vauban shouted like he was speaking through grit teeth. Bloom shot forward

"were too small, To new, we'll Burn out!" Chroma yelled in her head, but she didn't stop.

"We gotta help!"

She grabbed Vauban's Syandana in her teeth. She tried to hold in her scream as the magic flooded her system and very being but she couldn't almost letting go but held on.

"Just a bit more! We need just a bit more!" Frost yelled Pinkie eye's still a glow perked up. She placed a back hoof on Twilight and her tail on Rarity's hoof maintaining the power link and Reached into a white void. Pulling back like a fisherman.

What came out was a very surprised Nekros. She tossed him at the Tenno chain, and Vauban caught him by the arm. The single light on his faceplate blared a sickly green as he panicked. The poor frame screamed
"What the fuck!"

As the energy burned through the new frame. The power pulsed kicking Chromabloom out of the loop sending her flying back off a wall. When her vision cleared, she saw part's of the frames start glowing with bright colored light.
Then it was over, and most the frames dropped to the floor.

Frost fell to his knee's. The unwilling Nekros was flat on his back. Frost looked at the burning on his shoulder where the red leather had been branded by the Magic. Three diamond shapes were etched into his frame. The Nanomachines that ran through his systems filled and healed the mark. But instead of getting rid of it. It filled with a metallic blue similar to the gold on his helmet. He stared fascinated by it. Cal got to his knee's in front of his sister. On his abdomen, three pink balloons were stamped. Volt groaned Face down with a Light blue thundercloud with a lightning bolt coming out the bottom between his shoulder blades. Vauban was touching three misshapen objects on the right side of his pectoral area. It took him a second to realize they were red apples. Nyx had three pink butterflies under her left breast it was softer in color them her brothers bright neon pink. The still catatonic Nekros has a purple star with sparkles on his hip.

Frost rubbed his optic to clear his head, but his gaze landed on Rarity's Flank and saw the same three diamonds. Nyx stirred and Cal moved back for Fluttershy to rush in

"Are you ok how do you feel?"
The Frame rubbed her head, then you could practically see the star appear on her Helm as she raised her hands to her chest.

"Oh by the void. It was like fire, then it exploded like a rainbow in my MIND!" She cried out excited. Cal thumped her hard enough her Shields recycled.

"Ow what was that for!" she rubbed her helm where he hit her.

"You almost died you fucking clutz!" then hugged her.

"Never, Again. Never doing that again!" Twilight cried out Groggy, and her friends tackled her, Fluttershy joining the pile last. "Woah ok easy still woozy from the overload girls."
Everypony backed up.

"What happened Twi!" Rainbow asked hovering in her face. Twi used a hoof to edge her away.

"When SOMEBODY!" She yelled at Nyx "Got a little too handsy with her powers. She touched my magic, then connected to the Elements any they, they lashed out."

"lashed out or spread?" Frost asked pointing to the blue diamonds on his shoulder. Rarity gasped and looked at her cutie mark.

"What! How? Did you do or say anything?" she asked pointing a hoof to all of them.

"I said I'd give my life before losing a teammate," Frost answered.

"How generous" Twi commented and looked at Volt as he groaned and sat up

"I said something along the lines of I'd never abandon a teammate."

"Loyalty," Twi said, and Volt looked at her funny.

"I honestly had no clue what was going on, but I think I helped." Vauban put out there raising a finger. Twilight didn't say the obvious.

"Excalibur said he wanted Nyx to experience all the good in the world," Fluttershy said, and Cal nodded looking at the Balloons

"So laughter and Nyx is kindness for the kindness she showed the animals. That just leaves one question." She pointed to Nekros "Who the buck is that and why is he the element of magic?"
Frost looked at the still not moving Nekros.

"Not sure I understand fully but Nekros are Tenno Shaman of the dead, so magic is right up his alley."
Twilight lit up Fatigue momentarily forgotten in place of more Curiosity.

"But how'd he get here?" She asked, and Pinkie popped up next to the prone Tenno.

"Oh, we needed a sixth tenno for plot reasons, so I pulled him from your house. Must have gotten lost on the way to the party. Let me show him where he can drop his pointy things. She grabbed the Tenno in her teeth by the back of his Helm and dragged him into the back.

Once out of site she looked at the frame and smacked him hard enough his Shields flared. He jolted up and scrambled away from the pink pony.

"Who? What? How? what are you!" Pinkie gave him a hard look. "The reports said nothing about" he waved a finger at her then back towards the main room. "THAT!" he got up"First I'm in this tree library place, then there's a book and a pink arm. Then I'm being pulled through the void it'self!" he was very expressive with his hands and single optic that blared as he talked. She got right in his face.

"I know what you were up to and for the record, if you want info on this planet you ask! not snoop through my friends home!"
He searched her face for a moment then straightened up. As sickly green energy rose from his hands in Green smoke that swirled as his lights blared.

"I am the Tenno Reaper of souls! I hold dominion over Death it'self!"
He cast Terrify on her to put this little pony in her place. Pinkie's eyes tinged green, and her mouth twitched for a moment then she started laughing and giggling confusing the frame even further. She laughed hard enough she rubbed a tear from her eye. Then looked him dead in his

"And I'm Pinkie Pie." He jerked back trying to comprehend just what manner of being he dealing with. She turned around "Don't forget it! Put your weapons on the table all of them! I can see the holstered ones." She let out Uncharacteristically harsh.

But the Skeletal frame didn't know that. Nekros turned his head to see the "Uninvited guest" table. She walked around the corner, once he was sure she was out of site the pony leaned on the wall letting the pure terror show on her face as she put a hoof to her chest in an attempt to calm her thundering heart.
