"Sorry I cant but you get see tonight at the meteor shower I hope" Spike answered honestly,

"Now would you like me to put that in a suit bag for you ready for tonight?"

Spike walked into the bakery Pinkie pie did her usual greeting until she noticed who she was talking to Pinkie frowned and remember what Scootaloo made her Pinkie promise about. She didn't want Spike in here long so she gave Spike the box of cakes Straight away and forced a smile she hate keep secrets. "Oh thanks Pinkie hey how about a free muffin like the good old times?" "Sure" and Pinkie gave Spike a muffin sweating her eyes shifted back and forth, Spike was worried about she wasn't her usual asking questions type self.

Spike finely got home and Spike left the box of cakes on the table in the kitchen and Spike left the bag on his bed. He left his room to go find Twilight but when left his room Spike saw Twilight and Luna Do the same they were both smiling it didn't take much to work out what they had just done but Spike played dumb as he greeted the two mare's. "Hey Twi and hi princess" Spike greeted.
"Oh hey Spike did you do what I talked to you about this morning?" Twilight asked.
"Oh yeah can I talked to you about that in a minute?" Spike asks nervously. Twilight just nodded in agreement then Luna trotted over to Spike.
"My, my Spike you got so tall one remembers when you was so very small. Well since your older I need to talk to you I'm going to be given you lessons soon ill tell you more tomorrow at mine and celestia castle at 2 a clock after lunch don't be late" Luna tells Spike, Spike is confused but just agrees and tells Luna that he will be there.
"Anyway I'll find out tomorrow" Spike thought. Twilight asks if that Luna will be there at the meteor shower tonight she agreed and kissed Twilight passionately and left.
Twilight and Spike were talking in the map room Twilight sat on her throne while Spike sat on Rainbow's throne and Spike filled Twilight in on what had happened today so far. "well you've had busy morning haven't you and Scootaloo of all ponies I didn't expect that" Twilight told Spike with a smirk.
"Yeah well" Spike shrugged.
"Well if you don't mind what is it exactly that you like about Scootaloo if you don't mind me asking I mean she's so different to Rarity?" Twilight ask.
"Well for one thing she has an amazing body and she's very cute" spike tells Twilight with a big smile.

They arrived at the hill a blanket was put on top, Rarity, Rainbow dash, Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie pie was already there sat on top the blanket waiting for Luna to Raise the moon. Halfway into the meteor shower the mare's arrived Applebloom and Sweetie belle went and sat down on the blanket and grabbed a cup cake while Scootaloo made her way over to Spike . "Hey Spike" Scootaloo greeted but Spike was amazed at how beautiful she looked, "so how do I look?" Scootaloo asked as she trotted around Scootaloo was wearing a the back was purple with a curly pattern a waive dress with a white frill goes over the tail and around it goes a purple butterfly printed sash that went around it from where the wings are. She had purple laced shoes also had white pearl necklace with a purple gem in the middle of the necklace that was made into the dress she also had a yellow butterfly in her hair.
"You look stunning Scootaloo" spike smiles.

"Cheers" Spike replied while also blushing Scootaloo and Spike sat down and watched the rest of the meteor shower with Spike claw on Scootaloo hoof.
When the meteor shower was done and everypony went back Spike and Scootaloo went for a trot about Ponyville they talked while they trotted through the night.
"So you had to clean the animals mouth out?" Scootaloo asked trying to hold back a smile.

All six friend sat in their thrones and Luna stood next to Twilight they all had sad looks on their faces, "What's happened?" spike ask scared.
Twilight reply's sobbing "its Celestia shes.... been killed!"

"WHAT, what do you mean shes dead, how did she die, who killed her, who found her first, who raised the sun today?" All of Spike questions came out as he paced the map room.

"Look that's all in good time but we must find out who killed Celestia" as Luna says that an evil laughter burst of laughter echo's though the castle. The sky turns black appears out side the magic bubble shield everypony runs out side but staying in side the bubble.
They look up to see red and green piercing eyes with purple smoke coming from the corners of the eyes. "KING SOMBRA!" LUNA growls.
"HELLO LUNA, YES IT WAS ME WHO CUT CELESTIEA'S THOAT" he laughed In a deep loud booming voice applejack had to hold Rainbow back While Fluttershy hid behind Spike.
"But how are you here?" Luna asks still growling.
"TIREK SET ME FREE HAHAHAHA THE FOOL SHOULDNT OF TRUSTED DISCORD, LUCKLY THE CHANGELINGS RIP HIM TO SHREDS HAHAHAHAHA" Sombra boasts.

King Sombra's manic laughing is cut off as he notices Spike. "I SEE YOU THERE SPIKE! LOOK HOW BIG YOU'VE GROWN, I WILL KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TOO ME AND ILL RAPE YOUR LITTLE PONYFRIEND RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. "NO not Scootaloo, THAT WONT HAPPEN DO YOU HEAR ME IM GOING TO KILL YOU BEFORE I LET THAT HAPPEN" Spike shouts at the sky.
Luna sends two of her guards to go get Scootaloo and her friends and bring them to the Friendship Castle before trotting up to Spike. "No it wont! I think its time for your lessons Spike but first we must attend to Celestia."
Twilight trots over to Luna and Spike. "Where Should we bury Celestia, I think it Should be out the way somewhere safe somewhere where no Pony would look for her."
"I know a place but we should let the Ponies of Ponyville let know of my sister is dead." Luna Replies they all nod in agreement.
Celestia's coffin is white the picture of her cutie mark on the coffin the handles at the side where made out of pure gold. The coffin was taken through Ponyville and everypony pays their respect the ceremony was held in the ruins of the old castle Celestia and nightmare moon battled. "Thou were the best sister I could have, thou never gave up on me I see that now. Thou saw my potential and I promise thou I will not let thou down for rest of my life, sister." Luna address's the coffin I tears.
"Hi Celestia its me Twilight... I don't know if can live up to your expectation im gonna listen to your guidance that you have passed through the years. But its hard knowing that I cant ask for your help any more. But I also I know you wouldn't have put me in charge if you didn't think that I could handle it and I promise you that I wont let you down. Don't worry ill be myself I know you that what you would say." Twilight promised with a sad smile.
"Hey mum why couldn't you of told me about these lessons In the those Secret meet ups we had? Yu I will Kill King Sombra Once they everypony had talked to Celestia, Luna and Twilight Buried Celestia in middle of the old throne room using magic and Luna put's a protection spell over the grave.
As soon as the funeral was over everypony headed back to princess Twilights castle where Scootaloo, Applebloom and Sweetie belle was waiting for Spike and some info into what has. As soon as Spike saw Scootaloo he ran to her and held her in his arm's. "What's happened?" Scootaloo asked worried.
"I need to talk to you" so Spike pulled Scootaloo up stairs into his bedroom past the guards and sat on the bed and told her every about celestia and what king sombra had said.
"Look we will face everything together no matter what" Scootaloo told Spike and he just nodded and smiled and Scootaloo just hugged spike and gave him a quick peck on the lips. Then they left and trotted down the stairs Scootaloo Whispers to Spike, "im about to makes some demands agree with them ok."
Scootaloo and Spike walk into the map room "EVERYPONY LISTEN UP" Scootaloo shouts, everypony stops talking and looks at Scootaloo right away "Spike has told me everything and my best bet is that your all thinking keep the cutie mark crusaders out the way until we stop him, am I right?" everypony nodded, "well not this time im staying with Spike and before you Princess Twilight and Luna tell me its not a game I know that he wants to rape and kill me it scares me, but im not going to sit here and shake and wait until spike might or might not come back im not that type of mare, I want training and I want to stay by spike side and that's what im doing ok".
Applebloom and sweetie belle stood by Scootaloo and Spike in agreement "Ok fine but Spike is in charge of this group" Twilight tells the girls.
"That's fine" Scootaloo, Applebloom and Sweetie belle agree in unison.
Twilight trots up to Spike, "Captain" and bows to him and trots back to the map on the table, spike gulps in worry hearing the name captain. Scootaloo goes off to tell Applebloom and sweetie belle what Spike told her thinking no pony hadn't told them.
then Luna trots up to Spike "This will be your greatest challenge yet and its time I told you" spike turn face Luna.

The Crystal Empire had become a dark and gloomy place black and red sky, all of the males had become king sombra's army while the mares and foals had become slaves to King Sombra while he they are all under King Sombra. Queen Chrysalis found him weak and alone when Tirek set him free but they made a deal to take over equestria together when King Sombra had regain his strength. Queen Chrysalis to improve the changelings strength and magic all they had to do was train the troops and find Princess Cadence, In the castle king Sombra sits on his throne.
A changeling walks into the throne "WHERE IS PRINCESS CADENCE!" king Sombra growls.
"We don't know my king we cant finder her or the prince im sorry" the changeling apologise hoping he doesn't kill him.
"USELESS NOW LEAVE US" King Sombra demands as he turns to Queen Chrysalis, "what now?" King Sombra asks.
The Queen seemed to think about this, "Why don't you ask one of your slaves they wont be able to resist you my king hahahaha" King sombra smiled.
"Good Idea bring me her personal servant her number is two three six she should talk now go" he ordered, Queen chrysalis simple bowed and left.
"Once I have found the princess and prince and after she hunts down the discord I will have no further use for her, her army will belong to me and so will equestria" he thought to himself.
Queen chrysalis came back an hour later with mare her number was two three six and was thrown in front of the king, "WHERE IS THE PRINCESS AND THE PRINCE!" King Sombra shouted.
"I don't know" two three six replied in fear.

"Go on" King Sombra told her.
"Well Luna isn't in charge its Twilight" two three six answered, "IS THAT IT!" And with that he launch's at two three six and sinks he's teeth into her neck and rips out her throat.
King sombra turns to the Queen "and now we wait for discord" King sombra was interrupted, "you don't have to wait im here" Discord announced.

"An dark enemy is to return.... king sombra is back to take revenge and I must fall" Celestia admitted trying to look strong.

"Im dying any way it makes no difference im very sick and my magic is fading fast you can not let the others know about me or king sombra im leaving Twilight in charge ok make sure of that ok" Celestia told Cadence she nodded in reply.
"Good Discord will be here in three days to get you, Shining armour and the foal to safety and to my knowledge he doesn't know about the foal so he should be fine. Trust Discord he's scared for me at the moment he's very angry at the moment do you understand?" Celestia asked again Cadence nodded almost in tears, "please don't be scared im the one who should be scared but im not Celestia smiled at cadence its going to be ok Spike will stop him its he's destiny. He did it once before he will stop him again trust me" Celestia comforted cadence in a soft motherly tone.
"I do trust you its just ill miss you" Cadence admitted.
"I know but must go but know this be brave and tell shining armour everything, but don't tell the others" and with that Celestia teleported back to canterlot.
"im guessing you heard that" Cadence called out, a mare steps out from the from the shadow.
"Im sorry" the mare apologises.
"Don't be your my most trusted servant can you get my husband for me? i have some news for him thank you" Cadence asks.
"Of course" and with that she went to get Shining armour.
Cadence and shining waited the three days out it seem like a lifetime for them it was unbearable just waiting for Discord to show up. They couldn't sleep they didn't cry, they didn't talk it was silence except for the baby of course it wouldn't stop crying it was like she knew something was wrong, on the third day they waited in the throne room for Discord cadence was carrying their baby on her back luckily she was asleep for once. When Discord showed up he didn't make a joke he didn't smile.
"Im leaving you at Zecora's then I have to check on the tree of harmony then im coming back to kill King Sombra and Queen chrysalis they will pay for what they have done!" as soon as Discord told them that they were at Zecora's but discord left once he dropped them off.
"Do you know what you have to do?" Zecora asked.
"Yes I think we do" shining armour replied.
"Then go" Zecora told them, with that they left heading towards Twilight's castle.
They walked though the everfree forest it was pretty but the sun was setting it was getting dark and they didn't want to run into Timberwolves. they saw the ruins of the old castle of Celestia and Luna and they decided to stay there until it was daylight when they entered the ruins and they saw the grave stone of Celestia. Cadence broke down and cried Shining Armour comforted her and took her to what was left of the old bed rooms and fell a sleep once they woke up they left paying their respects to Celestia and left. they continued to walk until heard Timberwolves were coming shining armour fought them off while cadence run to protect the foal she waited outside the forest for Shining Armour to come out. she waited and waited she almost gave up hope that he was alive but he eventually came out off the forest he was bleeding he had scratches and bite marks he was also limping Cadence ran over to Shining, "I thought you were dead" Cadence told him.
"Nah there's no keeping me down" Shining armour winced at the pain come on lets get to Twilight.

"You fool coming back here on your own what do you hope to a accomplish?" King sombra ask mocking him this only angered discord even more.
"Revenge for killing my celestia your gonna pay" Discord threaten.
"Wow no witty come back, but as much as I would love to fight you but I don't play fair I think you of all can understand that" just as King Sombra said that changelings come out from the dark, "ATTACK".
The changelings attacked from all around discord was able to hit, kick and smack the first 6 that come charging at him. But it ends up being too much for discord to handle he collapses and dies with chunks ripped out of him most of his face is gone along with his arm. "send in a group of my super soldiers to my door" King sombra ordered The changelings they left afterwards King sombra smiled, "those ponies don't have a chance hahahahahahahahaha" then Queen chrysalis trotted in next to him.
"We will own equestria it will be ours" she smiled. But King Sombra had other ideas he lifted the her into the air the then only to smack her to the ground then throw her into the walls over and over again until she was so weak she could barely stand. "Why would you do this I save your sorry arse all those years ago its because of me that you are alive?" she asked.
"I don't need you any more and I want equestria for my self" King sombra replied, "my..... my changelings will never work for you" Queen chrysalis told king Sombra.
"They already said they would" he laughed and snapped her neck using his magic left her on the floor.
He opened the door with his magic and found the group of soldiers he called them in "I need all of you Pegasus to scout the sky of ponyville looking for these ponies kill on sight" a dark magic bubble suddenly appeared with the images of cadence, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight, Luna, Spike, Scootaloo appeared in the bubble they nodded and left, king sombra spoke to the rest of the soldiers "im sending a group of you to canterlot and one appaloosa and the other to this small village I will tell that group where location later here are the rest of the ponies and remember kill on sight" King sombra tells them then images of Shining Armour, Rarity, Pinkie, Applejack, Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, Starlight glimmer after that they left and so did King sombra he told a soldiers to get servants to clean out all of the dead ponies from his throne room.

this chapter I found the hardest to write so far but I want some background for King Sombra so I hope you guys like it I know its short I thought it would add more depth to the story
chapter 6 The Lessons Start
Once Luna had told Spike about the impending lessons to teach him more magic, they headed to one of the bigger room's in the castle to start a lesson. But before they could go a couple of the guards had enter the room escorting Princess Cadence and Shining armour making Spike and Luna turn around. Its Cadence and Shining armour Spike thought oh no shining armour is hurt.
"TWILIGHT! help" Cadence called out while carrying shining armour and the baby."
What happened to him?" Twilight asks as she gallops over them.
"We were saved by Discord when he felt that King sombra had returned" Cadence lied.
"Then what?" Luna asked.
"Well he left us at Zecora's, Then we walked through the forest and slept at the old ruins of the castle we left our respect to Celestia and then we left to walk though the forest again." Cadence Stop to take a deep breath as Twilight waits for Cadence to continue "A dozen of those Timberwolves attacked us I run to protect Flurry Heart and waited out side the forest for Shinning to come out. he was covered in scratches and bite marks he couldn't walk on one of his front legs and I got them both here quick as I could."
Twilight calls Fluttershy over to look at Shining Armour, while Fluttershy checks him over she asks if Flurry Heart is ok. "Oh yes she has been sleeping through most of it" just then Flurry Heart starts to cry.
"Well I spoke too soon" Cadence laughed.
"I think his left front hoof is broken" Fluttershy told Twilight and Cadence.
"Can you help him?" Cadence asks worried.
"yes I can I just need him to lay down, Rainbow can you help me please I need to take him up stairs?" Fluttershy asks.
"Sure" Rainbow replied she grabbed the other side of Shining armour and carries him up stairs.
"You should go with them to the guests bedroom" Twilight told Cadence.
"Thank you Twilight" Cadence started to head towards the stairs.
"I'll have the guards send you up some tea and some food for you, Shining and the baby" Twilight told Cadence she nodded in gratitude and left to go find where Fluttershy and Rainbow had put Shining.

Luna turns to Spike "Let us go were not needed" with that Spike and Luna turned around and left looking for a big space they found a big room at the back of the castle with nothing in the room. Purple and all crystal like just like all the other rooms three big clear windows letting in a lot of light.
"Here's a good place to start learning my magic as you say" Spike say's in unconvinced voiced.
"Yes this will be a great place, let me just get a few things that will help" Luna told Spike as she trotted out the door.
Spike sat in the middle of the floor just thinking about how crazy these past couple of days have been, going out with Scootaloo then Celestia dying, King sombra returning then threatened to kill my new marefriend and becoming a Captain with me leading the Cutie Mark Crusaders what have I got my self into now Spike thought as he face palms.
Luna returns carrying an sort meant of objects in her magic, a quill, stone, photo frame (with no photo in it) a book and a table lamp. Spike stood up he was intrigued by the objects in front of him and looked up at Luna interested.
"For your first lesson we shall do basics levitation, now look at the the quill and picture in your mind can you do that?" Luna asks Spike he close his eyes little bit of time afterwards he nods, "great now focus on the quill and imagen it lifting up and do it" Luna tells Spike. Spike face tenses up a green aura lights up around the quill, "that's it come on you can do it" Luna encourages Spike and the quill lifts into the air.
"That's it well done Spike you've done it" Luna smiles feeling proud of him. Spike opens his eyes to see him moving the quill in the air
"Bucking hell!, is that me doing that?" Spike asks moving the quill all around the room.
"Yes Spike that's really you doing that" Luna tells Spike he was just so amazed that he could do magic.
"Now put quill back and we'll move on to the stone next" and Spike did as he was told.

"Solider!" Twilight calls out he trots over.
"Yes your highness" the solider replied.
"I need you to take this food upstairs to princess Cadence and Prince armour quickly please?" Twilight asks, levitating the food over.
"Of course" he takes the try of food and flies off with it to give to Cadence and Shining armour.
Twilight trots over to her seat at the table and sits down noticing that Rainbow had returned.
"How is shining?" Twilight asks.
"He's doing fine, he's awake if you wanted to see him?" Rainbow replied.
"I can't we need a plan to deal with king sombra ill check on him later" Twilight told Rainbow she nodded in response.
"Well darling I think we should keep everypony safe like canterlot its not safe there not since what happened to Celestia" Rarity spoke up.
"I agree with you but we need more ponies in this army but first lets get them here then see who will be willing to join us" Twilight told the others they all nod in agreement, "Rarity you shell go in the morning ok" Twilight told Rarity.
"By my self?" Rarity asks worried.
"Its okay I talked Celestia into taking Trixie into her school of magic find her and she will help you okay ill also send a couple of guards to go with you" Twilight comforted.
"Well if your sure then ok" Rarity smiled.
"Applejack and Pinkie i want you to go to appleloosa and talk to ponies and the bull's into coming here for their safety" Twilight told Applejack and Pinkie pie.
"We'll sure try" Applejack tells Twilight with an unsure tone.
"Don't worry Applejack this is gonna be easy peasy double on cheesy" Pinkie answered in her normal happy jolty voice.
"Rainbow i need you to move cloudsdale here" Twilight told Rainbow.
"WHAT! how the heck will I talk them into moving cloudsdale here?" Rainbow asks.
"That's why im sending Luna to go with you" Twilight replied.
"Hey Twi whereas Starlight glimmer?" Applejack asked.
"Oh buck, I forgot I sent her to the village we met her in to learn friendship ill send Spike and the Cutie Mark Crusaders to go get her" Twilight told the girls Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow looked worried.
"Are yah sure thats ah good idea they're just girls?" Applejack asks.
"No they are same age as us when we stopped nightmare moon and when we stopped Queen chrysalis, war is coming soon they are gonna need experience, Spike will be there he will to protect them ok" Rarity and Applejack, tried to argue back but they could think of any think of anything to say so they nodded in agreement, "right its settled then" Twilight said then then thought hit her she had to ask "Rarity, Applejack did you know your sister's are dating?"
"WHAT!" they reacted at the same time.

"Come on you can do it move the lamp" Luna encourages Spike squeeze and tighten his face mussels and levitates the lamp up and all about, "well done......now put the lamp down and follow me Spike" Luna tells Spike he puts the lamp down and follows Luna up to Spike bedroom.
"What are we doing here?" Spike asks.
"I want thou to take something at random to show that thee have full control over your magic" Luna tells Spike.
"Well ok" and he levitates over a book of daring doo over to Luna she takes this as evidence of Spike has full control over his magic.
"That's it, well done you will have a another lesson tomorrow" and Luna leaves.
Spike goes to lay on his bed and closes his door using his magic and closes his eyes feeling tired from his lesson today until he hears a knock on the door.
"Its open" Spike calls out, Twilight enters the room.
"Spike I have job for you and the Cutie Mark Crusaders" Spike sits up at sound of Twilight.
"im listening" Spike replies interested.
"im sending you to go find Starlight glimmer tomorrow she's at that village i told you about don't worry ill send you a map to the place and since you have your new magic abilities im sure you'll be fine" Twilight smiled so proud of Spike she hugs him.
"Thanks Twilight" Spike replies hugging back.
"Now come on dinner is down stairs lets go" Twilight pulls away and heads down to the dining hall with Spike following.

Everypony was sitting down at the table Luna had just lowered the sun and risen the moon Twilight sat next to her of course, Rainbow and Rarity we're sitting together on the other side of the table Fluttershy was sitting down next to Pinkie. Further along was Cadence and Shining armour, "Fluttershy had patched up shining really well" Spike thought next to them was an empty seat next to Scootaloo.
Spike walks over and sits down next to Scootaloo she looks over at him and smiles, "hey there you are I haven't been able to find you today" Spike smiled at Scootaloo.
"Sorry i had my lessons today and have I got something to show you" Spike answered.
"Cool cant wait" Scootaloo smiled, the servant brought Spike his soup, he thank the servant as he left, Spike tasted the soup just plain tomato nothing special Spike thought.
Spike looks up across from him to see Applebloom and Sweetie belle sitting next to each other talking very quietly in fact the whole table was Quiet spike thought. "Hey Scootaloo is every pony ok?" Spike asks.
"Yeah i just think it's the whole stress of war and Celestia's death its brought every pony down" Scootaloo answered, Spike just nodded, "oh yeah Twilight tried to give me my own room but I said that im sleeping in your room was that okay ?" Scootaloo asks Spike smiles.
"Couldn't think of anything better" Scootaloo smiles they eat their dinner after that although Spike and Scootaloo's tails we're curled around each other the whole time they were eating.
Once dinner was done Spike and Scootaloo went up to Spike bedroom, Scootaloo trotted in first with spike following "watch this Scoot" Spike closed the door with his magic turn's to Scootaloo.
"You can do magic?" Scootaloo asks confused.
"I've always had magic just never to this scale, all I could do was send letters and I've just had this magic hidden im getting lessons now because im the one to stop King sombra its mental I don't know if I can do it" Spike sat on his bed and looked down at floor.
Scootaloo climbs on the bed sits behind Spike and puts all four of her legs around him and gives him a kiss on the neck and rests her head on his shoulder. "I believe in you I know you can do this, anyway I'll be there with you every step of the way ok" Scootaloo comforted, spike I got up and turned around looked at Scootaloo.
"I know" Spike tells her.
"Now let's take your mind off your duties shell we" as Scootaloo says that she pulls spike into a deep long kiss their tongues start to wrestle each other, they both pull away panting.
"I think that could work" spike smiles.

As Luna raises the sun so does Spike. Feeling happy and satisfied, he opened his eyes to see Scootaloo wasn't there...
"Scoot?" Spike called out in hazy but sleepy tone, all he got back however was a loud sound emanating from the bathroom like somepony was being sick. Spike got up and rushed up to the bathroom door before knocking on it. "Hey!" He knocked on the door once more, only to hear another vile sound from the other side. "Are you okay in there Scoot?" Spike asks worried,
He heard Scootaloo dry heave lightly before she replied. "What do you think?" Her voice seemed to be wavering every few seconds, as if she was fighting off another batch of puke. "Could you hear me outside at all?"
"That's why i was asking..." He droned in monotone. "Okay; i am coming in!" Before Scootaloo could protest Spike had barged into the room with little grace, almost falling over the appliances next to the door. "I should probably watch it next..."
Then Spike looked over to Scootaloo and frowned at what he saw.
Scootaloo was sitting on the floor her two front hooves placed on the rim of the toilet and her head was hanging over the toilet, Spike sits on his knees and puts his claw on Scootaloo's back and started to rub her back gently.
"How are you?" Spike asks concerned.
"Look I'm fine my soup was probably bad or something don't fuss over me go on go get Applebloom and Sweetie Belle let them know what we're doing today." Scootaloo tells Spike while getting up from the floor.
"Okay, if your sure." Spike got up after her and headed to the door when-
"WAIT! hold up can you get me Luna please?" Scootaloo asks suddenly, almost making him jump from the abrupt inflection.
"Sure what's wrong." Spike replied after regaining his composure.
"Nothing, just get her for me..." She pleaded.
"Annnnnd once your done talking to the girls please don't come back to the room. I need to talk to Luna on my own so go have breakfast ill meet you there okay..." Scootaloo ask with pleading eyes...
"Alright fine." Spike agreed grudgingly.
"Thank you!" Scootaloo quickly pecks Spike on the lips. Spike pulls her away after a second.
"You might wanna brush your teeth." Spike tells her smiling making Scootaloo giggle.
"Sorry see ya at breakfast." Scootaloo tells spike as trots to the bathroom
"See ya." And with that spike left the room.
Spike walked down the corridor, he saw Luna levitating a tray with breakfast on it as she see's Spike. "Good morning Spike how are we today?" Luna greeted way too cheerfully.
"I'm good thanks. Scootaloo wants to see you now if you can?" Spike asks.
"Now, is it that important?" Luna asks wanting to get back to Twilight.
"I don't know she wouldn't tell me but it sounded very important to me." Spike answered honestly
"Oh ok Ill be right there let me just give this to Twilight" Luna tells Spike, Spike opens the door using his magic
"Thanks spike good to see that you got used to that" Luna smiles and enters the room.
Spike continues to walk though the corridor Spike starts to think about how he's going to have go get Starlight and a handful of ponies and bring them all back to ponyville. "Thank Celestia I've got Scoot, Applebloom and Sweetie belle with me." Spike stopped thinking when he reached the room Spike knocked on the door and waited.
Spike heard somepony coming to the door. Sweetie belle opened the door just a crack. "Oh its just you Spike... What do you want?" Sweetie Belle opened the door fully Sweetie Belle's mane was all messed up and she was breathing heavily. Spike could see a red ribbon on the floor from Applebloom's mane
"Oh is this a bad time?" Spike was interrupted by Sweetie Belle...
"I know you can tell we've just had sex don't be so embarrassed ok Spike just tell me what you came here to tell me" Spike checks went red wow Applebloom has brought out the more straight forward pony in her Spike thought
"Anyway... I have to talk to both of you" Spike tells Sweetie Belle hoping
"APPLEBLOOM!" Sweetie Belle shouted.
"What is it, oh howdy Spike err what's up?" Applebloom comes to the door her all down and messy and very sweaty
"Well Twilight has got a mission for us to do" Spike answered
"Oh yah what's that then?" Applebloom asks
"We've got to go bring back Starlight glimmer and a handful of ponies" Spike tells them
"Is that it?" Sweetie Belle asks nervously but Spike being embarrassed about the two ponies in front of him he didn't even notice it.
"Yeah that's it we leave after breakfast." Spike answered...
"Okay see you at breakfast." Sweetie Belle closed the door on Spike, he walked off feeling weirded out by what just happened

"Ah master Spike what would you like?" Luna's servant asks as Spike walks into the kitchen...
"Don't worry about it I've got it covered." Spike tells Luna's servant.
"Well if your sure then." And the servant left. Spike walked over to the cupboards and pulls out tub of jem's, he put them into a bowl and pours milk over the gems and grabs a spoon and walks into the dining hall and sits down at the table. Rainbow and Rarity we're already up along with Fluttershy and Pinkie pie.
"Good morning." Spike greeted.
"Good morning Spike." they all retorted.

Scootaloo was brushing her teeth when she heard a knock on the door, "who is it?" Scootaloo asks.
"it, is me Princess Luna." Luna answers Scootaloo spits out all the toothpaste clear's her mouth and trots to the door to open it.
"Please Luna come in." Scootaloo tells.
"Spike tells me you needed my assistance?" Luna asks as she trots in.
"Yes, but i need you to promise that you are going to say nothing to spike or to anypony at all." Scootaloo looks at Luna with a very serious look.
"I promise, what is it?" Luna asks worried.
"Is there a spell to check if some pony is pregnant?" asks deadly serious. "yes their is a spell for that, I am to assume that you would like me to perform this spell on thee?" Luna asks...
"Yes, yes please but how will it work? I mean how do you if I'm pregnant or not?" Scootaloo asks nervously.
"All we have to do is point my horn at your stomach scan it if my magic turns white then you are pregnant if my magic stay's the same colour then you are not pregnant my dear" Luna informs her
"Oh okay shell we do this then?" Scootaloo asks eager to know answers
"Stand side ways on please" Scootaloo turn side way's on, Luna points her horn towards Scootaloo's belly her magic stats to glow so does Scootaloo's stomach. suddenly Luna's horn starts to glow dark blue to white.
Scootaloo turns her head looks at Luna's horn Scootaloo's eyes turns to the size pin pricks, "WAIT does that mean i'm, i'm..." Scootaloo stutters
"Yes Scootaloo you are pregnant congratulations." Luna Smiles
"You can't tell spike Princess please I will tell spike just not now I need you to promise me you wont tell spike or anypony else PLEASE!" Scootaloo begs Luna.
"I promise but you have to tell him soon..." Luna tells Scootaloo.
"I will just not now, ...now I am going to trot down to the kitchen and have breakfast with my dragonfriend okay? Thank you for all your help princess" Scootaloo bow's and opens the door, Luna bow's and leaves the room with Scootaloo following.

Spike hears the doors open he see's Scootaloo enter the room, "Hey, is every thing good." Spike hugs Scootaloo...
"I'm good so when we do we get going?" Scootaloo asks changing the subject quickly.
"As soon as we Applebloom and Sweetie Belle come down and have breakfast once they finish, we go, come on sit what do you want to eat?" Spike asks excited.
"Are you going too cook." Scootaloo asks surprised.
"I can cook, Pinkie taught me one summer." Spike explained.
"Alright Pancakes then?" Scootaloo asks.
"One batch of pancakes coming right up!" Spike smiled, and to got work. A few minutes spike come back with a stack of five well cooked covered with berries while Scootaloo ate spike talked.
Scootaloo was half way into her 6th pancake when Applebloom and Sweetie belle holding their breakfasts entered the room. "Okay, hurry up you two we have to leave soon okay?" Spike ordered.
"Okay Spike." Sweetie Belle replied, now eating as fast as they a could.
Once everyone had finished breakfast Spike, Scootaloo and Applebloom we're waiting by the front door of the castle for Sweetie Belle, "Where is she?" Spike asked beginning to get impatient of waiting.
"I don't know she said she had to go some where, maybe I should go find on her" Applebloom suggested.
"No its okay I'll do it I actually want to get going." Spike tells the mare's. Spike walked around the castle looking for Sweetie Belle until he bumped into Twilight.
"Hey Twilight have you seen Sweetie belle about?" Spike asks getting impatient.
"Yeah she's with me." Twilight tells spike.
"Well can you tell her we are going now?" Spike asks annoyed.
"W-well um she's um s-she's staying with me she's, she's l-learning m-magic, yes that's it she's learning magic with me!" Twilight told spike trying to not be suspicious. Totally suspiciously...
Spike didn't believe what Twilight was saying to be honest he was weirded out by her Spike knew she was hiding but he thought it was best to just agree with her for now. "Okaaay..." Spike replies.
"Now get going I want you to bring back Starlight back here quickly." Twilight orders Spike. Spike turn's around and starts to walk away, Twilight calls out to him Spike turns his head to look back at Twilight, "Be careful." Twilight tells him, spike nods and leaves.
"Did ya find her?" Applebloom asks as soon as she could see Spike up close.
"Kind of, I know where she is, Twilight and she told me that Bweetie Belle was with her." Spike told the mares they didn't say anything, they just nodded and listened to Spike. "And that she's not coming with us that she's staying behind to learn magic and that we've got to go with out her but the way that Twilight said it was weird she stuttered and um a lot like she was hiding something or" Spike started to think.
"Or what?" Scootaloo asks intrigued.
"Well the only time I know Twilight to be like this is if she in a situation that she doesn't know or if she in a situation that makes her feel uncomfortable." Spike explains.
"Well lets find out." Applebloom tells Spike.
"We will but when we come back okay." the mares nod in agreement. Spike open's the front doors using his magic and they leave one by one as they started to trotted to wards the train station. Spike could see rarity in a carriage being pulled away into the air by the royal Pegasus she was followed by other carriage's filled with ponies ready for battle, Spike could see that rarity see him he waves her off she waves back, "good luck Rarity!"

On the Train Spike, Scootaloo, and Applebloom we're discussing the reason why Sweetie belle had stayed behind while Spike stared out the window.
"Maybe she's being picked for a top secret mission all by her self." Scootaloo suggested while tapping chin.
"Really, sweetie belle of all ponies yah think it would be her chosen for a top secret mission all by her self like." Applebloom said flatly.
"Yeah good point." Scootaloo admitted.
Spike got involved he too started to get bored. "Look well find out when we get back." Spike pointed out.
"Yeah but what is it though spi?" Scootaloo asks.
"Well for one thing I don't know and second of all did you just call me spi?" Spike asks.
"Yep I did get over it?" Scootaloo told Spike.
"Will do..." Spike answers surprised.
"Good." Scootaloo pokes her tongue at Spike.
"Anyway getting back to sweetie Belle im sure everything is fine I bet there's simple answer." Spike tells Applebloom.
"Yah right I should just relax." Applebloom agreed leaning her head back and closed her eyes.
"Its not like she's pregnant or anything." Spike joked.
Applebloom eyes shot open and her head shot straight up all Apple bloom said was "Oh no magic..."
While Scootaloo had felt horrible knowing she was keeping be pregnant a secret from Spike she tried to ignore it but doing that made Scootaloo feel worse.
The guilt built up so much Scootaloo just couldn't keep it a secret anymore, "Spike I need to talk you in private" Scootaloo got up.
Spike looked over at Scootaloo she looked serious. "yeah sure" Spike answers worried, Scootaloo trots towards the toilets.
"Wait I cant go in the mares" Spike tells Scootaloo.
"Come on" Scootaloo drags Spike into the mares toilet. once they were in Spike was standing in the middle of the room while Scootaloo paces up and down.
"What's wrong scoot? Just tell me I can handle it." Spike tells her moving from worried to scared.
Scootaloo paced a little longer while she Gathered her thoughts. "Right I need you to promise your not gonna freak out cos I don't think I can handle you freaking out on me." Scootaloo begs.
"I pinkie promise." Spike gave Scootaloo comfort look.
"I'M PREGNANT!!!" Scootaloo blurted out fast and loud. Scootaloo continued to talk while Spike just Stood there dazed. "And I know we haven't been a couple for long but I love you so much and I think it could work, no I know it can work, I don't love anypony else but you, and if you tell anyone what I just said I will hunt you down."
Scootaloo just look down kick the floor with her front hoof waiting for spike to start shouting, moaning and ranting but she didn't hear anything when Scootaloo looked up she could see spike smiling.
"Im gonna be a dad, this is, well its unexpected to say the least but this is AWESOME!" Spike shouted excited, Scootaloo was shocked at Spike.
"Your okay then?" Scootaloo asks.
"Um yeah why wouldn't I be come here." Spike pulls Scootaloo into a hug, Spike gently strokes Scootaloo's cutie mark. Scootaloo looks up at spike and begins to do gentle pecks on the lips it soon turns into full tongue's.
Until Spike brakes the kiss. "wait I have questions" Scootaloo looks at Spike and gives him a nod to tell him to continue. "Is that why you wanted to see Luna this morning?" Spike asks.
"Yeah well I wanted to know if she had spell that could tell I was pregnant or not and I didn't want um freak you out..." Scootaloo answers.
"Okay and since your pregnant with my foal and I can't" Spike was cut off when Applebloom trots in.
"What have I told you about trotting in with out knocking." Scootaloo tells Applebloom angrily.
"Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt but we've arrived at the end of the tracks." Applebloom leaves smiling, Scootaloo turns to Spike.
"Come on Captain your leading this." Scootaloo tells spike as he leave spike just shakes his head and leaves.
As soon as Spike gets off the train as quick as flash the train started backing up leave the ponies and drake there stranded. "How do we get back?" Applebloom asks.
"I don't know I haven't got that far yet." Spike replies.
"Yah makin this up as yah go a long." Applebloom states.
"Yeah pretty much" Spike admits.
"So what are your orders?" Scootaloo asks.
"Right orders, well we to keep going that way until we get to a bridge, then we keep walking and then over a big rock hill is the small village where Starlight Glimmer is, then tell her about the impending doom, then we bring the whole village back." Spike orders.
"You make it sound so easy." Scootaloo tells spike flatly.
"That's because it should be." Spike adds.
"Yah should be doesn't fill me with confidence." Applebloom tells Spike worried.
"Come on." Spike calls the mares with they start heading out and-
One thought was going through all there heads please don't let there be any of king Sombra's ponies out there waiting. But it was different for each of them, Spike was hoping king Sombra's ponies weren't there because he had duties to take extra, care of Scootaloo and Spike knows that Scootaloo will be stubborn but if pushes just enough she'll listen.
Scootaloo just knew if they were out there she would have to leave spike and Applebloom to fight those ponies on their own and that scared her leave her Special somepony and best friend alone to fight.
But for Applebloom she was just scared that she would never see Sweetie belle ever again and she had question that need answering. But none of them talked at all, Spike just kept Scootaloo close when they reached the bridge they decided that it was too unstable to travel on so Scootaloo gave Applebloom a lift over. Once over they trotted up the rock hill when they saw the village was okay they started to calm down and laugh when they stopped they headed down to find Starlight.
It didn't take them long to find her she was in her old house. "Starlight I'm so glad we found you." Spike tells Starlight.
"Spike what are you doing here?" Starlight asks surprised, Spike turn's to Applebloom and Scootaloo.
"I want you to keep an eye out." Spike orders, the mares leave as soon as they were told.
"Spike what are you doing here?" Starlight asks again, "Twilight has sent me to come bring you back along with the village." Spike answers.
"What why?" Starlight was confused, Spike started from the death of Celestia up until now. When he finished Starlight was lost for words she didn't know to spike sat next to her in silence letting the news sink in. Starlight finally spoke up.
"So what's the plan?" Starlight asks Spike was about to reply until Scootaloo burst though the door.
"They've found us..." Spike runs out the door to find that he can see 6 ponies covered in black Armour galloping down hill that they had come down from not long ago.
"Do yah think they followed us?" Applebloom asks.
Spike runs to starlight. "do you think you can teleport all the ponies in the village?" Spike asks.
"What, all of them?!" Starlight states worried.
"Yes." Spike answers as bluntly as he could.
"Ok but they need to be touching." Starlight tells Spike the ponies start to gather into huge group.
"Remember go to Twilight s castle" Spike tells Starlight.
"Wait your not coming with us?" Starlight asks surprised.
"Nope somepony has to find out what were up against." Spike tells Starlight. Applebloom and Scootaloo stood next to spike when he finished talking.
"You lot are crazy" Starlight tells them.
"Maybe we are now get going." Spike pushes Scootaloo into the crowd, "I'm sorry scoot." Spike tells her as they disappear.
"What yah do that for spike?" Applebloom asks.
"I have my reasons." Spike replies.
Spike and Applebloom are stand in the middle of the town, Spike can see the ponies getting closer he turns to look at Applebloom "Are you okay?"
Applebloom looks at spike with a fake smile. "I'm good"
Spike frowns "Is I'm good special apple family code for really not okay at all?"
Applebloom looks at Spike weirdly, "Why?" Applebloom asks.
Spike smiles warmly at Applebloom "Because I'm good too."
king Sombra ponies enters the village and break Into two groups three ponies after Spike and the other three after Applebloom, the pony in middle charges at spike as the pony gallops towards Spike.
Spike builds up fire in his mouth and blows the fire as soon as the pony gets close enough to melt his helmet the spike throws a punch up at the pony hitting him in the jaw knocking to the floor. But what he doesn't see the other two ponies charging into him making him fly back super far bouncing off of Starlight's old house and hitting the mountain off to the side.
Spike lays there unconscious when spike finally starts coming round he starts to get up he suddenly stops when he up he can feel the pain of every cut and sore on his body. "Aaaaah, ugh those are gonna leave a mark."
Spike looks round to see the ponies standing waiting for spike to make his move. "How did they do that?... They are super strong I cant fight them!" Then it clicked in Spike's head. "I hope they can feel pain..." Spike thought But had to find out if they felt pain like every other pony.
Spike picks up of the ponies and lifts him far into the air while the other pony watches and bring fast down on to the pony watching they shout out in pain Spike smiles. He picks up both of the ponies lifts them into the air and smack them down back no to the floor fast Spike repeats it over and over again until he is happy he throws both of the ponies into the distance.
Spike rest for bit until he realizes Applebloom was with him, Spike starts spread out his wings slowly he winces while he does it he looks at he's wings two holes in his left wing. He starts to flap he hurts him at first but he soon gets use to the pain and flies off to find Applebloom.
He glides over the village no sign of Applebloom all he saw was blood but Spike didn't know if it was he's or Applebloom's Spike flies over the hill he can see a trail of blood leading all the way too the bridge. When Spike final reaches the bridge he can see Applebloom hanging off the gap the bridge had been broken King Sombra ponies were trying to make her fall. Spike lands quietly behind the two ponies and bashes their heads together hard knocking them out.
"SPIKE HELP!" Applebloom screams in fear as she loses grip, Spike grabs her hoof in time as she began to scream.
"Gotcha ya" when Spike finally got Applebloom she had lost a lot of blood where one of unicorns had stabbed her repeatedly with their horn she collapse in spike arms. "Hey Applebloom, APPLEBLOOM, APPLEBLOOM" Spike screams in fear he starts to cry Spike carries Applebloom and starts to fly off back to Twilight's castle.

When Spike finally reaches the castle he shouts the guards in fear while he had tears. "HELP! I NEED HELP SHE'S INJURED HELP!!!" The guards run inside to get Twilight and some nurse's and a doctor, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle follow. they bring in a stretcher out Spike puts Applebloom on the stretcher she instantly gets pulled into the castle Sweetie Belle follows Applebloom.
Twilight and Scootaloo gallop over to Spike whose kneeling on the floor in pain "What happened?!" Twilight asks worried, "They were so strong." Spike replies. Scootaloo slaps Spike hard against the face and burst's into tears and hugs Spike tightly and buries het muzzle into her neck. "DON'T you ever, ever send me away again you stupid dragon." Scootaloo mumbles.
"I was only thinking of you and the baby..." Spike whispers into her ear. Scootaloo kisses Spike deeply while Spike arms wraps around Scootaloo hugging her deep while Twilight stood there blushing Scootaloo pulls away and Whispers back.
"I know..." Twilight clears her throat to get attention they both look at Twilight.
"But are you okay? No real injures?" She asks worried.
"Nah I've got a lot of cuts and I've got two small holes in my left wing but nothing to go hospital with."
Twilight Smiles. "Well that's a relief at least your okay as bad as Rainbow...." Twilight frowns as she thought about Rainbow.
"Why?... What happened to Rainbow Dash?..."
chapter 8 Equestria's Down Fall
(this chapter happens at the same time as chapter seven)
Rarity's Day
Once breakfast was done and Rarity kissed Rainbow goodbye "good luck rari's and I love you" Rainbow smiles.
"I love you too darling and don't worry ill keep myself safe" she left find the soldiers.
"You better" Rainbow said once Rarity left.
Rarity found outside the castle waiting for her, A unicorn steps out in front and salutes "Ma'am im the captain ill be helping you through this mission."
He stands proud waiting for orders Rarity sighs, "lets gets this done with" The captain nods and escort's her to the carriage.
When they finally got into the air Rarity looks back at the castle she could see Scootaloo and Applebloom leave along with spike he was looking up waving at her Rarity waved back until he was out of sight. Rarity leaned back into seat and thought About Rainbow and wished that none of this was happening.
Rarity was suddenly interrupted by another thought, she thought about what she saw when she looked back at the castle she remembered seeing Applebloom And Scootaloo but she didn't remember see Sweetie Belle it was a relief but she couldn't help but wonder where sweetie Belle was. the thought was gone when one of the soldiers shout out.
"WE HAVE ENERMY'S IN BOUND PROTECT THE MARE AT ALL COST" Rarity leans her head out see canterlot over run with King sombra's ponies attacking the ponies of canterlot.
The carriages land on the outskirts canterlot as Rarity steps out of the carriage she can hear the sound of screaming ponies and explosions.
Rarity turns to the captain "I need to get to Celestia's school of magic" Rarity tells him.
"Right my colt's will get you there safe" the captain turns to his army "we need to get to Celestia's school of magic I need you to be on guard" the captain orders.
"YES SIR" they reply in unison as they get out their sword's and spear's.
As they enter canterlot king Sombra army had almost destroyed canterlot most of the shops were almost a pile of rubble on fire some buildings were completely destroyed. the odd building was left untouched, the castle was in ruins almost like the last castle Rarity thought the middle tower was missing, the ponies of canterlot were in panic galloping everywhere you look.
A pony gets thrown near Rarity knocking her out of her thoughts She looks down at the pony he's throat had been ripped out Rarity looks back up in fear to see one of king sombra's soldiers standing on pile of rubble. He had blood dripping from his mouth he stares down at Rarity viciously, he started galloping towards her but something was off about him he but before she knew it he transformed in to a changeling and launched him self at her.
The captain gets in front of Rarity and plunges his spear Right into the changeling's stomach the changeling was hanging off the stick dead.
"COLT'S SOME OF THE HOSTAILS ARE CHANGELING'S" the captain shouts at his group of ponies to be heard over the noise of canterlot, they nodded in unison.
"I need a safe passage to the school" Rarity tells the captain he nods and scouts out the area around.
"Over there" captain points to clear path, "follow me" Rarity and the soldier's follow the captain. they gallop along the path the captain Rarity catches up to the captain.
"Darling what's your name?" Rarity asks.
"Really your asking me now!" the captain replies surprise.
"What I work better when im multitasking so darling what's your name?" Rarity asks again.
"Its Hard shell" the captain replies.
"Thank you for saving my life" Rarity smiles.
"It was nothing" Hard shell replies their conversation was cut short when they where attacked by a group of king sombra soldiers. Hard shell grabs Rarity and teleports to the school.
"Your at the school I must go back and help my colts, when you find Trixie get her to teleport you back to the castle" and with that he teleports back to the fight leaving her alone.
The school was racked tables everywhere along with books and bottles the doors and windows were boarded up Rarity trots past a lot unicorns huddled together. She noticed two ponies in particular Minuette and Lemon Heart they were crying over pony she looked like Twilight even her mane except her was in ponytail and she wore glasses Rarity felt bad she want to stop and say hello but she had to move on.
"TRIXIE!" rarity shouts out "TRIXIE ARE YOU HERE!" a red unicorn with a pink mane stands up and trots over to Rarity.
"Im sorry but did you say you were looking for Trixie?" the mare asks.
"Yes why do you know where she is?" Rarity asks, the mare nodded in reply,
"Come this way" they gallop off up stairs to Trixie's dorm.
"Here we are" the mare point's to the door on Rarity left and trots away.
"Thank you miss?" Rarity waits for her to answer "crafted amber" she answers, "thank you crafted amber" She smiles and leaves. Rarity knocks on Trixie door.
"WHOSE THERE?" Trixie shouts.
"Its me Rarity, Twilight sent me to come bring you back to the castle so could you open the door please?" Rarity asks.
"Trixie desires some personal information?" Trixie answers, "Trixie is no fool she knows that there are changeling's" Trixie tells Rarity.
"What would you suggest i tell you?" Rarity asks.
"What happened after you got dumped by Ocean deep?" Trixie asks, Rarity looks down at the floor and her checks blush bright red.
"I went to the local wine bar" Rarity tells her.
"Trixie demands you to go further" Trixie tells Rarity was doing a really good Fluttershy impression now.
"I sat down at the bar and i drank all of my sorrows away" Rarity answers not wanting to go any further"and" Trixie was waiting for Rarity to continue.
"Really do I have too" Rarity asks but all Rarity could hear was the battle outside, "FINE! I met you and you took pity on me and you took me back to your caravan and then" Rarity stopped feeling awkward to continue.
"Then" Trixie again waits for Rarity to continue.
"Ugh then we bucked each other silly okay" Trixie opens the door smiling,
"YES yes we did" Rarity frowns,
"You knew it was me all along didn't you?" Rarity asks angrily,
"Yes Trixie did but, come on Trixie thinks we would be so good together and you know it" Trixie starts to kiss Rarity. Rarity tries pulling away but she ends up finding her self kissing back they go deep into the kiss Trixie pulls away from Rarity.
Rarity is still trying to kiss Trixie, "Trixie knew that you still had feelings for us" Rarity felt bad but she felt so good couldn't help it but she loved Trixie it was weird she had some effect over her, she could see a life with her, Rarity had just Realized that her and Rainbow dash had been going in different directions. Rarity wants to have a family now and Rainbow wants to be a wonder bolt.
"Yes I do i cant help it i love you, I will leave Rainbow for you and I will tell her tonight now lets get back to Twilight."
Trixie grins "good girl."
Rarity nods "lets get going then" Trixie hugs Rarity and teleports to the castle.

After Rarity left to go to canterlot Rainbow waited for Luna to come down the stairs so that they could get going Rainbow was nervous she was scared she had a gut feeling that she shouldn't be going like something bad would happen. Rainbow looks up to see Luna waiting by the door.
"are thou ready to go?" Luna asks.
"yeah i was born ready" Rainbow smiled.
"Do you think we will run into any of King Sombra colts" Rainbow added.
"well dont doubt that King Sombra has sent colts out looking for us, is thou eager to kick some flank?" Luna asks trying to sound cool.
"Heh something like that" Rainbow retorted.
They start walk towards the front door of the castle Luna looks at rainbow and she looks unhappy like she had somthing on her mind.
"What is wrong?" Luna asks worried, Rainbow thought about her answer carefully,
"Im just worried about Rarity that's all" Rainbow Luna gave Rainbow a comforting smile.
"Dont worry i picked out the finest soldiers to protect her" Rainbow smiled that gave her some comfort knowing that Rarity is safe at least.
"Thank you Princess."
As soon as they reached outside they stretched their wing's out and took off with out talking but as they got closer to cloudsdale Rainbows ego got stronger but Rainbow tried too ignore them to the best of her abilities. when they reached cloudsdale everything seemed to be okay Luna and Rainbow went to the center of cloudsdale to get every ponies attention to let them know of the impending danger that's lurking out there but no Pegasus believed them.
"Why wont they believe us?" Rainbow asks.
"well nothing dangerous has ever attacked them up here its all been down on the ground" Luna tells her, Luna thought about this for a moment how could they get cloudsdale to listen.
Rainbow gets bored and starts looking around for anything interesting she looks up to see eight Pegasus wearing in black armour flying in a straight line side by side.
"LUNA LOOK" Rainbow shouts pointing upwards, Luna's head snaps around to look at Rainbow pointing with her hoof. Luna then looks up to see what she's point at then eight of king sombra's soldiers flying around them.
"ponies of clouds dale we only want Luna and Rainbow dash if none of you get involved or try to stop us your life will be spared" one of the soldiers shouts. Luna turns to Rainbow,
"I do hope your in the mood for a fight Rainbow dash?" Luna ask.
"I thought you would never ask" Rainbow smiles. The solders land around the Pegasus and Alicorns, Rainbow and Luna get in fighting stance, Rainbow charges at the four ponies on her side the four ponies both grab on to Rainbow dash and fly to the edge of clouds dale to the other four block Luna from helping.
When they finally let go of Rainbow she kicks one Pegasus with her hind legs hitting him the face but he didn't even flinch Rainbow froze in fear the Pegasus punches Rainbow in the face sending her flying.
Rainbow tries to get up an shake the feeling of being hit the muzzle the Pegasus grabs Rainbow's leg and pins her to the cloud. Rainbow try's to free her self she kicks out with her other hind leg but each one of the Pegasus held one of Rainbow's leg down.
"HEY! GET OFF OF ME" Rainbow shouts trying to wiggle out.
"we've got her do it now" another one of king sombra's Pegasus come out from under clouds dale lands next to rainbow dash. The Pegasus puts her hooves on rainbow's wing.
"HEY WHAT, AAAAAAAAAAAARG" Rainbow screams in pain as the Pegasus pulls off Rainbows left wing, it was done so quickly like it was planned and had been practiced.
Blood starts pouring out from where Rainbow's wing was ripped off, the bone that was attached to the wing was sticking out. tears were pouring from rainbow's eyes and all you could her were the blood curdling screams her face constricted in agony. The four Pegasus who had rainbow's legs threw her off of clouds dale letting her fall to her death. Rainbow almost hit the ground before Luna flew down and caught her, once Luna had Rainbow on her she flew her back to twilight.

"Why what happened to Rainbow dash" Spike asks both Scootaloo and Twilight frown.
"It will be better if you see for your self" Twilight shows spike the way to the medical part in the back of the castle.
"When did you set this up Twi?" Spike asks as they walk though the medic bay, "when everyone left, I fought we are going to war we need a medical attention close to us."
They walk past Applebloom and sweetie belle they were bracing each other in hug. "I think I'll go see them in a minute after I see dash" spike thought. They finally reached Rainbow dash she was a unconscious wrapped up in bandage's and attached to a drip spike saw that she was missing her left wing, "how did this happen?" Spike asks almost in tears at the sight of Rainbow.
"Rainbow and Luna were ambushed by King sombra ponies just like you and Rarity." Spike and Scootaloo sat on chairs next to Rainbow's bed.
"Is Rarity ok? has she been by yet?" Spike asks worried Twilight trotted around to the other side of Rainbow's bed.
"Rarity is fine she brought back Trixie but the ponies she went with are dead and no she hasn't been by but she knows at the moment she's talking to Trixie somewhere."
Spike turned to Scootaloo took a deep breath "i think we should tell her" spike looks down at Scootaloo's stomach.
Scootaloo frowned "I thought we weren't going to tell anypony yet" Twilight stairs at Spike and Scootaloo confused she kept quite though waiting.
"Yeah I know but look around you scoot this is bigger then what we thought, we need to put your safety and his or hers first."
Scootaloo looked at Rainbow wrapped up in bandage's and sighed in defeat "fine but you tell her."
Spike gulps "ok fine." Twilight is still confused staring at Scootaloo and spike. "Twilight me and Scootaloo are well um well what I mean is um Scootaloo is ah well she's, she's pregnant she" spike hid behind his claws scared of Twilight's reaction.
All he heard were giggles of joy, "I cant believe it you two as well, im gonna be an aunt I cant believe it hahaha" twilight dances around.
"Your not mad?" spike took his claws away from his face.
"Why would I be angry spike your old enough to do what you want now" twilight trots over and hugs Scootaloo "congratulations Scootaloo I know you'll make great mum" Scootaloo smiles warmly.
"Cheers Twi." Twilight then hugs spike.
"Celestia would of been proud of how you've turned out" spike smiles sadly.
"Thanks Twilight but what did you mean I cant believe it you too as well." Twilight smiles.
"Maybe you should ask next door" spike looks curiously and walks past Twilight and Scootaloo spike turns his head to look at Scootaloo, "you coming ?" Scootaloo look at dash on the bed.
"Nah im gonna stay here and wait for Rainbow to wake up tell me what you find out later" Spike nods and walks off back to where he saw Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.
As Spike walked in Applebloom was laying in the bed just like Rainbow covered in badges and attached to a drip, Sweetie Belle was sat on a chair next to the bed. "Oh hi Spike how are ya" Applebloom asks sounding better then she looked.
Spike laughed "Im fine how are you?" Applebloom smiled bright.
"Im really good, thanks for savin me n all" Applebloom looked to Sweetie Belle.
"Can we tell him he did set us up after all and he did save my life as well." Sweetie Belle thought about it for a moment and nodded in agreement, "Could you tell her please?"
Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes "Embarrassed much? well spike um there's this type of magic that can that um well can um give mares a penis."
Sweetie Belle and Spike both blushed at what Sweetie Belle had just said Spike didn't say anything he just nodded show that he understood what sweetie had told he waited for her to continue. "Well we can choose whether we want it to be filled with um well with err sperm or not and we can also choose if the unicorn wants the appendage or the partner wants it and."
Sweetie Belle was cut off by Applebloom "I took the penis" Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes.
"Yes you did and the long and shot of it is im pregnant" Sweetie Belle smiled.

Spike started stepping out the room slowly "I'll let Scootaloo tell you ill talk to you later bye" and with that Spike left leaving Applebloom and Scootaloo bewildered.
Just as Spike left Applebloom and Sweetie Belle he found Luna outside waiting "I was just about to lower the sun and raise the moon will thou join me?"
Spike nodded, "yes let me just tell Scootaloo something wait here" Luna waited while spike walked to rainbow's hospital room.
"Hey Scootaloo, oh.. hi Rainbow, how are you feeling?" both Scootaloo and Rainbow look at spike standing in the door way.
"Im fine don't worry about me, congrats on the baby though" spike rubs the back of his head with his claw.
"Thanks Dash, um Scootaloo Applebloom and Sweetie belle wanna talk to you I've gotta go Luna wants to talk to me I'll talk to you at dinner" as Spike was about to leave when Rarity entered the room spike look gave Scootaloo a look and they both left.
Spike and Scootaloo walked back to outside of Applebloom's room where Luna was waiting "I'll see you later" Spike left with Luna until Scootaloo gallops after them.
"SPIKE!" Scootaloo called out making spike turn around. when Scootaloo finally catches up with spike she kiss him deeply almost adding tongue before Scootaloo pulls away smiling she turns walks back leave a massive smile on spike and Luna blushing.

Rarity trotted next to the bed frowning she sat on the chair and gave Rainbow the saddest smile she could "Hey I know this looks bad but the doctors said they can attach a metal wing to me Which is going to make me look 20 percent cooler, I should be fine for the."
"Rainbow dash im braking up with you!" Rarity hanged her head low she couldn't look at Rainbow at all.
"W-what why what have I done at least look at me" Rarity lifted her to look at Rainbow.
"Darling you haven't done anything I realized last night how different we actually are" Rainbow just listened.
"Your on your way to be a wonder bolt and im on my way to be a top fashion designer and Trixie will follow me where ever I go."
Rainbow had a million and one questions running in her head now but the only thought she could cling to was Trixie "Hold on, TRIXIE!, well how long has that been going on for?"
"Well you see before me and you were together I had how you would say a fling and when I had to go get Trixie she made some very good points and I found I still had feelings for her I still love her im sorry Rainbow dash."
Rainbow opened her mouth to reply but she didn't know what to say but yet she had so much running through her head. Rainbow looked up to see Rarity had left Rainbow felt empty she didn't know how to act "It's fine im awesome i can always find myself another marefriend, but it wont be the same" Rainbow told her self.

Two weeks later Applejack and pinkie pie came back with all the ponies from apple looser and the buffalo, Braeburn and a 20 other ponies signed up to the army along with all the buffalo.
Applejack went to see her sister as soon as she heard about her injuries after she got over shock of her injuries Applejack was over come with joy when she learns that her baby sis is having a baby with her soon too be wife. Applebloom asked Pinkie pie to plan the wedding but of course Pinkie is also planning a baby party after the war is done, they went to see Rainbow after seeing Applebloom.
Applejack and big mac and a few ponies from Appleloosa went back to Sweet Apple Acres to work on the farm making sure the food stocks never run out even Fluttershy came over feeling not needed at the castle. Pinkie also went back to Sugar Cube Corner and continue to make cake keeping ponies fed.
Rainbow didn't say much she was different after her accident all she was focused on for month was getting her metal wing. The metal was sliver and shined under the sun each metal feather sharp and pointed perfect for combat. Rainbow joined Twilight army under the condition that she was was able to train alone, once Twilight agreed Rainbow never talked to any pony accept Fluttershy visited when she could it if work wasnt too bad. All she did was train for months, sleep eat train that was it.
Rarity didn't talk to Rainbow at all she helped Twilight design new armour that was tougher and stronger. Trixie Stayed with Rarity almost everypony knew that Rarity and Rainbow had broken up but no pony knew why but they never said anything when the girls asked they just said "Its private you know."
Twilight got new house's built for all the new ponies and for the buffalo it took three months build, so many ponies were busy at the castle. Twilight wasn't taking any chances so her and Luna both put a shield bubble around ponyville. After she was done protecting ponyville, Luna taught Twilight how to bring the sun up like celestia asked.
Starlight still followed Twilight still trying to learn friendship the best she could, when Starlight finally met Trixie somthing felt off about her Starlight didn't trust Trixie and Kept tabs on her.
But the thing that shocked everypony was Twilight's announcement of her pregnancy useing the same magic spell that she taught Sweetie Belle which put Pinkie excitement through the roof Spike had his suspicions but never said he's just frilled to be an uncle. Once Shinning armour's ankle was healed he got straight back to being captain of the royal guard against Cadence wishes all though she knew that it was something that Shinning had to do.
Once Applebloom was healed she stayed with Sweetie Belle to look after though her pregnancy, they planed their wedding in three months. Scootaloo was Applebloom's best mare while Spike walked Sweetie Belle down the aisle, Spike and Scootaloo decided tell everypony about the engagement after the battle so they didn't want to look like they were trying to over from Sweetie belle and Applebloom.
Scootaloo watched Spike as his magic lessons went on, the lessons were tough but Spike knew he needed he learn these abilities if wanted any chance to stop king Sombra. teleportation, bubble shields and laser beams but Luna informed Spike that dragons like Spike have a particular magic talents that unicorns or alicorns cant do.
After a month of much intense training they find out that Spike special magic talent is controlling Fire, it didn't just sent letters it will be useful in battle. once they found his magic talent Spike had learn how to control and use his new magic. When Spike lessons with Luna were finished he started battle training with shinning Trixie and Starlight glimmer joined spike with his battle lessons.
Spike also learnt how to fight with Starlight and Trixie as team, as a unit, Shinning had the black smith make Special armour made for spike, the metal was tougher then the normal ponies armour. The armour was made out steel it took the finest blacksmith ponies to make spike's armour it took three weeks to make. it was finally the fifth month the month that King sombra had said he would attack all they had to do was wait.

king Sombra walked through the underground cocoon mating Chambers of the changeling's under the Chrystal Castle seeing his army grow stronger and bigger "Your Majesty" the captain of the changelings bow's "to what do we owe this honour."
"Rise, im here to see how my changeling army is doing."
The Changeling general stands to attention "We are well ahead of schedule my lord we should be ready for when your ultimate pony soliders return."
"Excellent im very impressed captain we shell crush those pathetic ponies they dont stand a chance hahahaha" King sombra laugh was interrupted by one of his slaves. "WHAT IS IT" King sombra shouts into his face making the pony cower in fear
"Tho-those p-ponies you s-s-sent out are back."
"Tell them ill be their in a minute" the servant nods and backs away slowly hoping not to be at the end of king sombra's wrath. King sombra turns to the captain "looks like plans have advanced get your ponies ready" the general nods bow's and leaves to ready the changeling's.
King sombra sits on his throne "slave bring them in" the slave nods opens the door and calls the ponies in. thirteen ponies walking four of the ponies are badly hurt while the other nine are fine one ponies throw a blue wing in front of king sombra grins wickedly.
"Ill get to group one in a minute (he looks at the four damaged ponies growling) but i must congratulate you on your victory this will bring RAINBOW DASH to her death her pride will over take her and she will die now go" King sombra congratulates.
"Now group one tell me exactly what happened out there?" King sombra ask holding back the urge to rip them to shreds. One of the four ponies step forward.
"It was the dragon sir he has magic and he was strong with it too we had thrown him into a house had hit a rocky mountain we were about to take his we when he use his magic knocked us out". The pony backed up into line of four.
"WHAT!, already his powerful i did not a count for this, no pony should go near him, he shell come to me and i shell deal with that dragon scum my self, but i have a plan for you to redeem your self group one but now go tell the others tomorrow we march to war."

Chapter 11 Not Everypony Gets Out Alive
Twilight woke up early now since it was her duty to raze the sun she gave met Luna as she always did gave her kiss on the cheek and trotted down stairs and made her self a cup of coffee she never had breakfast since she found it too early. when Twilight had properly woken up she made her way back up the stairs to the balcony were she razed the sun once she had razed the sun twilight took a long look over the hills in the distance Twilight's face went pale and sweaty.
Spike and Scootaloo were woken up by Trixie and Starlight glimmer bursting into the room "SPIKE!" Scootaloo pulls the blanket up more while Spike fell off the bed.
"Why is it every PONY BARDGES IN?" Scootaloo asks no pony in particular while Spike picks him self off the floor.
"You better have a good reason for bursting in here" Spike tells the mares sitting down next to Scootaloo on the bed.
"King sombra's here!" the mare's tell Spike in unison.
"WHAT!" Spike looks at Scootaloo then Scootaloo baby bump.
"Yes but the problem is twilight and Luna are too busy getting the army ready no pony knows what's happening too the children the old ponies and the mare's that cant fight you were the only one we could talk to" Starlight frowns.
Spike thought about this for while when it him the tunnels under the castle that lead far away from ponyville "get all the ponies that need to be taken out the away and meet me at the library and put your armour on, oh don't forget princess Cadence" the mares nod and leave.
"What are you going to do?" Scootaloo asks
"Im going to go get Sweetie Belle and Applebloom come on" Spike starts running towards the guest bedroom when Scootaloo stops out of breath Spike noticed this and stopped Running as well.
"Oh yeah pregnant sorry" Spike scratches the back of his head Scootaloo give Spike an annoyed glare they walk the rest of the way. when they reach the door spike was about to knock on the door until Scootaloo smacks his hand out the way.
"Buck knocking we always get ponies walk in on us so". Scootaloo opens burst opens the door to see Sweetie Belle's head in between Applebloom's legs.
"RIGHT GIRLS AAAAAAAAAAAAA" Scootaloo screams in shock and shuts the door Spike gives Scootaloo a smug look.
"Do you think we should of knocked" Scootaloo glares back they hear the door open with very angry Applebloom.

"Follow me" spike tells them as they are brought to the library.
They waited for about half an hour when eventually Trixie and Starlight show up with all the ponies that need to go far away including Cadence with her baby flurry heart "spike what's going on" Cadence asks Spike pulls a book that open a secret door on the floor.
"Your going to get far away from here Trixie I need you to go first" Trixie looks puzzled at what spike asks.
"But Trixie thought she was going to be apart of your team" Spike sighs.
"They are going to need protection and some pony who is great and powerful" Trixie ponders this.
"The great and powerful Trixie agrees" Trixie starts to trot down the steps.
"Everypony follow Trixie" Cadence and the other ponies start trotting down the steps.

"To be honest with you Spike im scared, im scared of losing Luna, im scared of losing my baby and im scared of losing you, I mean as soon as we see king Sombra your off to fight him and save the day hopefully and Fluttershy and Rarity are down in medic bay Applejack is down making weapons with her brother big mac and im well all alone" Twilight confesses.
"Twilight im gonna be fine I have magic beyond that of alicorn and isn't Pinkie will be here to keep you company" Spike tries to reassures her.
"I know you've had the training but that isn't all you know, and yes pinkie is going to be here but that's not all Rainbow is down the amongst all those ponies im just not sure that she's in her right mind huff, anyway where are Starlight and Trixie?" Twilight sighs.
"Um well you see you were focused on your army that you forgot about the ones that cant fight so I use the secret passage to get them out I sent Cadence, sweetie belle, Applebloom and ugh Scoot's as well I sent Starlight and Trixie to look after them" Spike explains.
"Of course you did, you know what?" Twilight asks "what?" Twilight smiles "I think your heart is too big for you" twilight hugs spike.
Spike was about to reply when he was interrupted by Twilight "they've started their attack" Spike looks over at the battlefield to see the two groups off ponies clash.
"Any sign of sombra?" Spike asks hoping that he could end this quickly.
"no not yet, he must be saving something special for you" Spike gulps at the thought that sombra has something planned for him.

"Are you sure? I remember what you told me you joined the army because you wanted to get away from your ex"

"COLTS, THE ENEMY IS AHEAD GET INFORMATION".
"You heard her come get information" Shinning orders, Rainbow puts her helmet on and gets in line they start marching from out of the castle and the shields as Rainbow waited for orders she started to think about Rarity and the times when they were happy. Tears started to stream down here face she was nocked out of day dream when the pony next her hit in the arm it was her buddy Steel gust he was cool to Rainbow even though he fancied her he seemed upset when she told him that she liked mares not colts.
"Hey are you okay?", Rainbow wiped her eyes dry.
"Yeah just something in my eye" rainbow lied.
"You can tell me anything, come on, what's up?" Steel Gust asked.
"Just thinking about my ex" Rainbow lowered her head.
"Oh, ouch, well I'm here if you wanna talk" Rainbow looked up at Steel.

"ATTACK" and before they knew it they were running at the enemy.
Multiple green beams come flying out from behind the hills and one big red beam right in the middle they hit the shields, Break into tiny pieces, like glass hitting the ground. thousands of changelings follow soon after, with the Twilight army busy with King Sombra's to deal with the changelings attacking Ponyville. Spike, Pinkie, Applejack and Rarity came together to fight of as many changeling's as they could to protect as many ponies as they could.

Rainbow beat one pony down one after the other throwing a spear into that had made a jump on Steel Gust, snapping her spear in half in the process changelings tried to gang up on Rainbow spin around with her metal wing stretched out blinding the changelings. She jumps on each changeling stabbing them in the stomach with her wing killing them.
Rainbow turns her head to see pony she turns around bucking the pony in the face launching him in to an enemy's spear killing him. She looks across the battlefield to see four ponies she recognised but they look different they more looked more hurt she looks at her wing then at the four ponies "its them it has to be them" they've seen her Rainbow's anger goes though the roof.
Rainbow charges at the ponies she jump's turning with her metal wing spread out cutting pony on the arm Rainbow looks at the cut smiling feeling smug. the pony looks down at his cut and laughs "is that it your going to have to do better then that" Rainbow was taken back by how deep his voice was.
Rainbow starts galloping towards them throwing a leg the pony blocks her leg hitting her in the stomach throwing her backwards landing on the Rainbow forgot how strong they were "how are you guys this strong?" Rainbow asks while putting her hoof over her stomach.
"Now Rainbow Dash you will come with us king Sombra needs you" Rainbow starts getting back on her hooves.
"Im sorry but why would I do that" the pony sighed "get her" the other three ponies behind him start charging at her nocking her down until she cant get back up.
A changeling who had been waiting out grab Rainbow Dash and took her away behind a hill where king Sombra had been waiting for Rainbow Dash. "Your majesty" the changeling drops rainbow on floor and bows.
"go back to battle" the changeling nods and flies off "you will be my key to beating Spike."

Fluttershy had joined Twilight getting out the way of the fighting that was happening "Are you okay?" Fluttershy asks.
"No Fluttershy im not okay all I can do is sit here and watch" Twilight starts pacing up and down.
Twilight watch the battle though binoculars she started to worry as she couldn't find any sight of Rainbow "I cant find Rainbow Dash anywhere?"
"Shes gotta be out there some where?" Fluttershy asks, Twilight takes a double look over the hill and Twilight froze at what she saw.
"Oh my gosh Rainbow" Twilight said making Fluttershy look at Twilight.
"What's wrong is Rainbow hurt?" Fluttershy asks worried.
Twilight sends Spike note "SPIKE! your up, I see king Sombra but he's got Rainbow!" Twilight was almost in tears.
As soon as Spike gets the note he takes flying high into air looking for King Sombra, he could see King Sombra on the hill behind the battle using magic holding up a very weak beat up looking Rainbow dash. "im going to KILL HIM!" Spike growls before taking off like Rainbow's Sonic Rain boom.
Spike lands on the hill making a crater around him "hand her over" Spike demands.
"No I don't think so" king sombra gets takes a spear and stabs it right though Rainbows chest killing her dead.
"NOOOOO!.....you'll pay for that" Spike grips his claw in anger.
king sombra laughs "I doubt it" suddenly Spike breaths out fire king Sombra block it with a bubble shield.
"You'll have to do better then that" Spike starts running at Sombra his claws light up with green fire, king sombra was ready with a counter attack spike launches him self at him sombra he's claws in a in fist ready to hit him at last minute teleports behind him hitting sombra in the face catching him off guard.
Sombra falls to the floor from the unexpected punch "How was that" Spike sends an energy beam from his fore head king sombra teleports out the he spears flying at spike he block the spears with a shield. With Spike distracted sombra teleports behind and bites Spike in the shoulder luckily spikes scales a tough Spike grabs sombra from behind him and throws him into a big stone.
Sombra instantly gets back and Charges at Spike, Spike tries to doge Sombra attack instead Sombra's horn slashes Spike from the cheek up to his forehead on the left side of his face luckily Sombra missed Spikes eye. Spike pins Sombra down His claws set on fire and repeatedly beats him "(spike hits sombra) that's for Celestia, (spike hits him again) that's for discord, (the fire burns the hardest of all) and that's for Rainbow".
Sombra starts to bleed heavily "NOW!" and before Spike knew sombra had teleported away spike looked all around him to see if he could see him but he couldn't. ponies from pony vile surrounded him he saw celestia and Luna, Twilight and all her friends even Rainbow dash he saw Sweetie belle and Applebloom even his pregnant fiancé Scootaloo.
"What's going on is the battle over did we win?" Spike asks confused Rainbow steps forward.
"Why did you let him kill me Spike why didn't you save me" Rainbow asks.
"I couldn't im sorry Rainbow I tried."
everypony spoke at once "and now we died spike because of you, because you couldn't save us". It clicked in spike mind his friends would never say that to him.
"They are all changelings" spike thought then I know the exacted pony whose behind him. Spike claw out grabbing him around the neck his claw set on fire again all the changelings run in fear. Spike pulls Sombra to the ground his neck started to burn "NO, come back you cowards" king sombra calls out but he could feel the burn on his neck get stronger.
"I must full fill my master task" but Sombra voice had given up.
"Whose your master? SOMBRA TELL ME!" Spike shouts with no reply Spike fury burned knowing he had destroyed king sombra's voice. He snaps king sombra's neck king him dead "I guess we'll find out". Spike eyes go wide as Remembers Rainbow and runs over too her quickly seeing her neck had been snapped knowing he couldn't save her Spike drops to his knees "im-im sorry dash... im so, so sorry I tried" Spike began to cry cradling Rainbow dash tightly sobbing hard.
After that the spell on king sombra's troops broke and the Changelings ran away now leader less and alone leaving a wrecked and damaged ponyville behind, Spike grabbed Rainbow's dead body and carried her back to Twilights castle. when Spike entered the castle everypony was there waiting to congratulate Spike Their face fell when they saw who Spike was carrying.
Twilight and the others including Luna and Sweetie belle, Applebloom and Scootaloo gathered around Spike dropped to his knees he started to cry "I-I tried t-to save her b-but I couldn't im so sorry" Luna gave Spike a sympathetic smile and took Rainbow off of Spike. Spike woke up he had nightmare he saw Scootaloo sleeping peacefully Spike slipped out of bed and walked out side to the balcony "Im a screw up, I could of saved her I hope sombra's rotting in hell right now, I should of died instead of her."
"SPIKE SPARKLES!" Scootaloo made Spike jump "don't you ever say that you did everything you could to save Rainbow you even said it your self there was nothing you could do stop beating your self up" Scootaloo hugs spike.
"I know but......oh I don't know im going for a walk" with that Spike walked around Ponyvile, as he walked around what was left of Ponyville he saw families camped outside the rubble of their houses. Spike walk so far into the everfree forest and sat down on log and thought about the events that happened today and couldn't help but feel guilt.
"Good evening Spike how are you this night?" Luna lands down in front of spike.
"Im not great Princess, I-I cant help but feel guilty about Rainbow and Ponyvile" Spike admits.
"Spike I've lost ponies the way you have and let me tell you its not easy, but you going keep going and you live on and remember the ones we lost and you cant do everything you are only one dragon you did what was right" Luna tell spike.
"Thank you Princess Luna that's really helped me out" Spike hugs Luna.
"Think nothing Spike and please call me Luna" Spike nods.
"Anyway Spike I have something important to tell you, me and Twilight talked about this tonight, she told me to find you, we've decided to make you a Prince."

chapter 12 The Death Of Friends And The Birth Of A Prince
The day started off raining, dark and gloomy: the perfect weather for a funeral. Spike woke up feeling sense of pain that was coming. Spike put his head in his hands wishing today wasn't today. Spike suddenly felt the loving hoof of his fiance on his shoulder he turned his head to see Scootaloo smiling sympathetically back Spike was just glad he didn't have to go through this alone.
Scootaloo pulled spike into a tight hug "im here for you today okay, I won't leave your side" Scootaloo whispers down Spikes ear.
"you promise?" Spikes asks needing reassurance.
"I promise". Spike Kisses Scootaloo deeply pressed up against each other when spike felt a bump on his on his stomach which made him stop kissing.
"Was that the baby?" Spike asks looking down at her stomach. Scootaloo smiles.
"Put your hand here" Scootaloo tell Spike grabbing his hand and placing it on he her lower stomach Spike waits for a little bit until he feels a little kick.
"I felt it" Spike laughs.
"That's our foal" Scootaloo beamed, Spike went to kiss a Scootaloo again but Scootaloo pushes Spike away.

So many ponies Had died that day it was Button Mash's funeral last week and it Mrs Cakes' funeral the following week. Rainbows grave was on top a hill near Twilights Castle they were going to put her grave next to her family but no pony knew where they were. ponies looked for any pony under the surname dash but they found no pony so they placed her on top of a hill over looking ponyville so if any pony went there they would have total privacy.
When Rainbow died her throne in twilights castle fell it never broke it just fell on its back Spike and Twilight decided to use throne as her tombstone. Twilight used magic to engrave these words.

Spike thought about the times Rainbow taught him to fly Spike was surprised by Rainbow she was a good teacher she didn't teach like Twilight she made lessons fun. Spike could remember her last lessons were based on speed of course, it was optional but he thought it could be useful.
when it came to the end Spikes final test was to race Rainbow her self which Spike expected what with her big ego. Spike surprised Rainbow and him self after the lessons that Rainbow taught him Spike was able to keep the same speed as her.
But Rainbow eventually beat Spike by going into a sonic rainboom, Rainbow came back as she stopped the rainboom Rainbow saw Spike potential to do a sonic rainboom. Rainbow had planed it to do more lessons before everything happened a tear fell from Spikes face as thought about those times.
Spike tried to focus on the funeral "Twilight has asked to say a few words" Luna tells the crowed as Twilight stood were Luna did. "Rainbow Dash was loyal, she literally was the embodiment of loyalty, she never left a pony hanging she always came through for ponies no matter what."
Twilight started to get teary eyed as she continued talking "Rainbow was a friend she was also a teacher to some ponies a role modal to others and I know for a fact she was a big sister to one pony in particular. (Scootaloo started to cry as Twilight said that she leaned into Spikes shoulder as he cuddled her) she will always be here in our hearts she will never leave us no matter what."
Everypony had said their goodbyes Spike was only one left to say goodbye was Spike he asked Scootaloo for some privacy she gave him as kiss and trotted over to a tree away from Spike.
"Hi Rainbow dash its me Spike, I really tried to save you I hope you know that, I found out that there was some pony behind Sombra and I promise you Rainbow ill get them and ill make them pay. Enjoy your rest Dash" Spike walked over to where Scootaloo was waiting.
"Are you okay?" Scootaloo asks.
"Yeah im fine, ...come on lets go" Spike and Scootaloo walk back to the castle.
As Spike and Scootaloo trotted to Spikes bedroom Scootaloo enter the room Spike stood outside the room "Spike what's wrong?" Scootaloo asks puzzled.
"I've got to go talk to Rarity" Spike tells Scootaloo.
"But I wanted us to you know" Scootaloo says nodding to the bed. Spike his claw under her chin and pulls her in and kisses her Scootaloo opens her mouth hoping Spike would open his excepted he pulls away smiling.
"later" and walks away leaving a surprised and smiling Scootaloo.
Spike knocks on Rarity's door Trixie opens the door smiling " Spike! how are you?" Spike frowned.
"Im fine thanks I want to see Rarity?" Spike asks annoyed.
"yeah sure ...RARITY" Trixie trots off to get Rarity.
"Oh Spikey wikey how are you?" Rarity asks.
"Where were you today?" Rarity frowns.
"I couldn't not after what happened between us". Spike couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"You could of tried, you let yourself down Rarity I didn't think you would go this low goodnight" Spike walked away feeling angry and disappointed.

The coronation had finally arrived Spike was getting ready sorting him self out he wore the red velvet suit the one he wore at the meteor shower, Rarity had sent him a suit but Spike refused to wear it. "Stop fussing you look good spi" Scootaloo walked in wearing a new dress the first layer was light purple slow fading into orange but it had a pattern of swirls. The second layer was the same colour as the first layer, it was shorter and at the end of the dress zigzagged. The dress was held round her with a necklace with a single purple lighten bolt with a yellow line down the middle of it.
"Scoot you look amazing" Spike complements her, Scootaloo looks down at the floor.
"No I don't look at me im huge" Scootaloo frowns.
Spike smiles "you always look amazing to me" Spike kisses Scootaloo on the lips a light peck nothing heavy.
"You always know what to say" Scootaloo smiles put her hoof on his cheek "im proud of you Spike you deserve today" Spike smiles.
"Im so nervous" Scootaloo kisses Spike on the check "don't be, I'll be there and I might have something for you later tonight."
Before Spike could answer there was a knock at the door "hey its me Twilight can I come in?" Twilight asks.
"Sure" Spike answered.
"Are you ready spike?" Twilight asks as she enters the room.
"Yeah lets go" Spike replied Twilight looks at what Spike was wearing.
"That?" Spike looks confused.
"Why aren't you wearing the suit that Rarity made you?" Twilight asks.
"She knows why" was Spike only reply. Scootaloo roles her eyes at Spike.
"Okay... by the way Luna is doing service what with me being pregnant" Twilight informed Spike he nodded in reply.
"Oh I've also have something to ask you both" that got Scootaloo's attention she stood next to Spike as Twilight continued talking.
"Well im moving into the castle here in canterlot to be with Luna I was wondering if you wanted my castle as your own if you don't that's ok I'll give it to starlight " Spike was Shocked at the offer he looked at Scootaloo then back at Twilight.
"Could you give us a minute?" Spike asks Twilight she nods and waits outside closing the door behind her. Spike turns to Scootaloo.
"What do you think?" Spike asks Scootaloo, she thought about her house, then the castle and her baby.
"Spike, I don't want to live in a castle, I want my home it's my first home after being in the orphanage I want to bring our foals up there". Spike smiled warmly.
"Then that's where we'll live" Spike told her Scootaloo eyes open wide joy overwhelmed her face.
"Twilight we have our answer" Spike called out, Twilight entered the room.
"Thanks for the offer twi but im going to live with Scoot in her house" Twilight nodded in response.
"Well we do have a coronation to do" Twilight told Spike, and with that they left.

The canterlot castle had been fixed all the stain glass windows were back in place, Luna stood in front of her throne with Twilight next to her, Luna began the to talk "we are here today for the coronation, so I am proud to present Spike."
The door flung open as Spike entered the hall, ponies trotted behind him when he reached the front Spike kneeled down on one knee. Luna approached Spike "for saving Equestria and defeating king sombra I name you Prince Spike Protector of Equestria."
Luna levitated the crown from the pillow that Twilight held, the crown was gold with green and purple gems in each point Luna placed the crown a top spike head "rise prince spike" as Spike Stood up a round of applause burst from audience.
Spike looked around to see everypony clapping and cheering, Luna and Twilight walked him to a carriage were he was taken around to show canterlot the new prince, Spike waved and smiled at all the ponies that went passed.

During the party of Spikes coronation Spike and Scootaloo told everypony that they were going to get married. So two weeks later Applejack and Fluttershy take spike out for the night while Sweetie belle and Applebloom took Scootaloo out.
Spike woke up with a massive head ache from the night out with Applejack and Fluttershy "ughh my head im never drinking again" Spike moans putting a claw to his head as flashes of last night came to him. All Spike could remember was downing his tenth beer while Applejack and Fluttershy made out in the corner, that last thought made Spike blush.
Spike got up out of as he walked round he tripped over something his head hit the floor Spike shock his head as came to grips with what happened. Spike looks down to see Applejack and Fluttershy cuddling it made Spike blush again.
Spike got up and gently Shock Applejack awake "DEAR CELESTIA! what are ya doing in mah room Spike?" Applejack asked waking Fluttershy up.
"Im not in your Room Applejack your in mine" Spike told Applejack eyes turn to pin pricks as she looks at Fluttershy hiding under the sheets.
"Spike im so sorry about this could ya not tell the others definitely don't tell my Sister we're ah keeping it ah secret for the time bein?" Applejack asks.
"Sure and don't worry I had a great time last night" Spike nods.
"Th-thank you" Fluttershy squeaks.
"That's fine but you gotta get the heck out of here before Applebloom Arrives" That made applejack get up quickly.
"Why would err Applebloom becoming here?" Applejack asked worried.
"She's my best mare, now get going" Spike told Applejack.
"Right come on Flutters" Applejack grabs Fluttershy and leaves the room.
Once Applejack and Fluttershy had left Spike jumped in the shower for a long wash the thoughts of Scootaloo and the day ahead brought a smile to Spikes face. Spike griped his dick and slowly started to rub up and the thoughts Scootaloo fresh in his mind Spike started to pick up speed rubbing faster. Spike stopped rubbing when he heard Applebloom call out "Spike are ya here!" Spike let go of his dick instantly

"Yeah it was great and Scoot stayed on the Apple juice so did sweetie Belle" Applebloom Chuckled as the cup of coffee hovers over in a green aura. Applebloom thanked Spike as she took the cup
"How was your night Spike?" Applebloom asked, Spike thought about his answer for a moment being careful not to give Applejack's secret.
"It was great we drank and talked it was fun" Spike answered Scootaloo nods in reply.
"Oh I just remembered somthin hold on ill go get it" Applebloom placed the cup on the table she stepped outside for a minute, Applebloom came back with Black suit bag she placed it on the bed. Spike placed his coffee on the kitchen side and walked over to the bag he saw a tag on the bag and read it.
Dear Spike I know you still hate for what I did to Rainbow dash but you have to know it was my last intentions to hurt dash im sorry. But I couldn't help my self but make you a suit for your wedding day I hope we can move past this darling love Rarity x
Spike opened the bag it revealed a plane black suit with a diamond pattern the buttons were pure gold with green emeralds built into them each cufflink had a name engraved on them Spike and Scoot. Spike was amazed with the amount of work that Rarity put into the suit even though Spike had been treating her like she was nobody Spike felt a twinge of guilt hit him.
"I know you and Rarity haven't been talkin but... Sweetie belle gave it to meh to give to ya" Applebloom told Spike.
"Thank you Applebloom" Spike Smiled looking at the suit.
"Well come on we gotta be there in hour" Applebloom told Spike, his eyes went wide grabbed the Suit and darted into the bathroom.

Spike stood in front of the alter with Applebloom at his side and Twilight doing the ceremony she ignored Luna advice a did the ceremony she had the chance to marry her brother off with her the love of his life and she wasn't going to miss it Spike wasn't Scared more excited then anything for it to be happening.
Spike turned his head to see all his friend had made it even Dragon Lord Ember was there in the second row. Rarity sat in the front row seats next to the others and Trixie looking nervous Spike smiled at her give her a little wave Rarity gave a relived smile and waved back. Spike turned back to the front and waited nervously until he hears Twilight say "Could every pony stand for the bride."
Scootaloo walked the aisle accompanied by Sweetie belle while Fluttershy birds played as she reached spike they both wore massive smiles. "Mares and gentle colts we are gathered here to day to witness the marriage of Scootaloo and Spike Sparkle the two have written their own vows, who would like to go first?" Twilight asks.
"I will" Spike announced "Scootaloo I've been happier than I have with you, it took me a while to notice you but when I did I knew I was meant to be with you. When I found out you were pregnant it just sweetened the deal, and I know any that comes our way we can deal with it not even a war can't stop us I love you scoot."
Tear filled the room you could hear Twilight brother bursting into tears even Twilight shed a tear or two. "Spike im not romantic or nothing but when we decided to go out I wasn't alone no more I had some drake that loved me and I loved you. When I found out I was pregnant I thought you'd get angry and leave me but you didn't you stayed by me and you fought the evil in Equestria to stay by me and I love you for it I know you'll make a great dad" Scootaloo finished her vows.
Twilight had have a minute drying her eye's from all the crying she had been doing, Applebloom stood between Spike and Scootaloo holding a pillow with the rings on them Scootaloo's ring was on a gold neckless ready for the final part. "Spike do you promise to stand by Scootaloo for richer or poorer in sickness and in health till death do you part?" Twilight asks.
"I do" Spike replies as he puts the necklace around Scootaloo.
"Scootaloo do you promise to stand by Spike side for richer or poorer in sickness and in health till death do you part?" Twilight asks.
"I do" Scootaloo replies as she puts Spike claw through the ring.
"I pronounce you mare and drake you may kiss the mare" That was it one kiss to seal the deal a lifetime of happiness.

Far south of Ponyville past Appaloosa into the mysterious south in the Arimaspi territory Lies a cave two ponies have met to speak.
"King Sombra was a fool do underestimate the one the they call Spike he is powerful to win you must be careful no one can no its you. When the baby's of each couple that is when you strike, do you understand?" The old colt asked the mare nodded in response. "if anything out of the ordinary happens come and tell me, now go" the mare turned to leave she stopped as the old colt called out. "Don't forget you're my last chance don't screw up because if your not dead I'll send a changeling after you" the mare left after that.

chapter 2 Scootaloo's problem
(from the point of view Scootaloo in the morning)
A burst of sun light hits Scootaloo in the eyes though the club house window causing her to awake she looked around her new home and thought about how she came to be living here. Scootaloo has been living in the club house for 3 months now ever since she had been kicked out of the orphanage for been too old. Rainbow dash had no space so she couldn't help neither did Sweetie belle's sister Rarity so the only pony Scootaloo could turn to was Applebloom sister Applejack they had nowhere for her to stay permanently. But Applebloom came up with the idea of remaking the club house to be a bit bigger for Scootaloo to live in since they found out that their cutie marks they didn't need the club house any more. They knocked down the old club house and rebuilt to be a bit bigger but had the same look as the club house Scootaloo wanted it to have same look.
In the end Scootaloo got up to take shower no point in me just laying and think about the past she thought. As Scootaloo got the shower all she could was think about spike and how spike made her feel. when she saw Spike all she could see was a strong, good looking, kind and loyal dragon with a great sense of humour. when water was warm enough she stepped in while washing her self her thoughts went back to spike and how good he look, she found her hoof slowly making its way down to her clit and she slowly started to rub it back and forth hitting the little nub making her gasp on occasion. As more thoughts of Spike came into her head about what he could do to her she started rubbing harder and harder then she started to dig her hoof into her clit a little bit and started rubbing until she heard Applebloom shout "scoot where are yah?" Which made Scootaloo clean and dry her self.
"APPLEBLOOM! You cant just walk into my home with out knocking." Scootaloo shouted

As Scootaloo and Applebloom trotted over to the kitchen and made them self's breakfast all Scootaloo wanted was a slice of toast while Applebloom had a fresh daisy sandwich they both had apple juice to drink.
"There's actually a reason I came over this morning other than to have breakfast with yah" Applebloom admitted in a scared tone.
"oh yeah well spit it out then" Scootaloo demanded
"well its this thing okay but before I do tell yah I want yah to know that aint gonna break up the 3 of us I just yah to know that okay?" Applebloom reassured
Applebloom started to scare Scootaloo "okay..."
"me and Sweetie belle are well we are a couple now but it doesn't mean we're leaving yah behind or nothin" Applebloom confessed
"well about time I was wondering when you two were gonna get together" Scootaloo smiled, but really it just made Scootaloo feel more alone. Scootaloo wanted spike more than ever now but was too proud to admit it just not to anypony else yet, Applebloom was surprise by Scootaloo reply she thought for sure that she would feel like shes being left out.
"Does Applejack know?" Scootaloo asks.
"No not yet ill tell just not yet" Applebloom blushed.
Scootaloo changed the conversation getting bored "Hey have you seen spike this morning?"
"nah I haven't seen him this morning."
"do think he will be with us today?"
"I don't know he might come over he might not."
"Hey did you know Spike stopped king sombra all by him self In the end mean how cool is that?" Scootaloo started to drone on and on about how good Spike was, Which made Applebloom very suspicious.
"yea Spike has done some awesome things, and im I right in thinkin that some pony has a crush?" Applebloom asks with a sly grin.
Scootaloo just blushed in reply and look the other way trying not to look at Applebloom she felt if she looked at Applebloom all her secrets will just fall out. "um well I just found out about this yesterday" Scootaloo looks nervously at Applebloom as soon as Applebloom asks that Scootaloo something all Scootaloo can think is deny everything as much as she could.
"What are you talking about Applebloom no I haven't" Scootaloo tried her best to act it off.
"Ya yah have after tellin yah that me and Sweetie belle are dating out all yah did was bombarded me about Spike am I right in thinkin... that yaaah like Spike?" Applebloom asks teasing.
"NO! no, no, no just shut up okay" Scootaloo crossed her front legs.
"okay I was only askin"
Scootaloo couldn't stand it no more now Applebloom had made Scootaloo feel even more alone. she never had a mum or dad to have care for her no siblings now she's found someone that she care's about and she love's him more then anything all Scootaloo could think was 'I have to fine him he wont make me feel so alone'.
"I've got to go" Scootaloo got up and trotted to the door.
"I haven't upset yah have I" Applebloom started worry.
"nah I've got something do ill see you later ok" Scootaloo told her as she left the house.
"WAIT! what about Colour burst he needs our help and she's gone" Applebloom shouted at Scootaloo "I wonder where she's gone" Applebloom thought.
"Right I go to the castle then I pull him a side and then I I tell him everything but what if he doesn't..... no even if he doesn't say yes need tell him to get it out of my mind at least" Scootaloo thought as she trotted though the trees where the running of the leaves takes place. It was spring so the woods were full of colour flowers and blossom was in full bloom the odd rabbit or squirrel could be seen. "It would be nice to take Spike here.... wait what, what am I saying that's so not cool, don't get soft on just yet" Scootaloo told her self, On the way she bumps into Sweetie belle.
"hey Scootaloo where you going?" Sweetie Belle asked in her usual chirpy tone.
"Oh I've just got something to do."
"Oh okay you will be back in time to help Colour Burst?"
"im I don't know maybe it all depends on how it takes" Scootaloo frowned.
"did Applebloom tell you about me and her hehehe" Sweetie belle asks nervously kick the stone in front of her
"Hmm... Oh yeah im really happy for you two congrats I think should say."
"Thanks im glad your ok with this" Sweetie Belle giggled
"Is Rarity going to be okay with this?"
"She should otherwise shes a hypocrite what with Rainbow Dash."
"well I've got to go, I've got my Two best ponies helping Colour Burst he's in good hooves."
"yeah and Spike will always be able to help if...." Sweetie Belle was cut off by Scootaloo.
"WAIT WHAT! have you seen him?" Scootaloo shouts.
Sweetie Belle replies as quick a flash "no I haven't seen Spike im so sorry" Scootaloo apologises quick after then fly's off to Twilights castle.
Scootaloo lands outside the castle and knocks on the door but no one answers she knocks again but again no one answers and she knows that Spike wont be a sleep Twilight wont allow it. "where is he maybe he's at sugar cube corner" Scootaloo thought but when she got there and asked Pinkie pie if she had seen Spike.
"nah he hasn't been in all day and I've seen ponies all day but no dragon at all... but hold on im getting a pinkie sense its, its GASP you have you like somepony" Pinkie blurt out.
"wait what how did you know?" Scootaloo asked dumbfounded.
"silly don't you know I have a Pinkie sense it tells me all different things so who is it is spike? Pinkie asks again Scootaloo was shocked how pinkie got it right she thought she might as well tell somepony.
"yes it is but I don't know if Spike likes me back ok so I need you too Pinkie promise that if you see spike you wont say a word to him or any pony else don't worry it will only last today so you wont have to keep it long ok" Scootaloo told her.
"cross my heart hope to fly stick a cup cake in my eye" Pinkie replied. And with that she left sugar cube corner and trotted over to Rarity's but she hadn't seen Spike either defeated she flew home upset but when she arrived at Sweet Apple Acres, Scootaloo couldn't find the girls.
Scootaloo went up too the barn to find apple jack and big mac working in the fields "Hi yah sugarcube Scootaloo the girls in the house I think they are I they are in Applebloom room" Applejack told Scootaloo she thanked applejack and walked in Scootaloo found the girls walking down the stairs giggling like they've been up too something. they stop to whisper something to each other then turned to Scootaloo and walked down the stairs.
"Right do yah like Spike yes or no be honest now come on" Applebloom ordered
Scootaloo felt a little taken back by Applebloom "What happened to hi Scoot or What have you been up to today Scoot"Applebloom glared at her "yes ok jeez I LIKE SPIKE okay happy now" Scootaloo realized how totally uncool she was just then.
"Yes now let go up too Applebloom room we have a plan" as soon as Sweetie Belle said that Applebloom gave Sweetie Belle a look. "on Second thought maybe Applebloom room isn't a good idea lets go to my house then we can get the plan on its way" Sweetie Belle suggested. Scootaloo agreed and on the way they told Scootaloo their plan she thought it was mad but Scootaloo also thought was worth a try what have I got to lose Scootaloo thought.

chapter 1 The Morning
It was an early, cool, calm, crisp spring morning in Equestria with a few clouds in the sky. Luna's moon has just gone down just as Princess Celestia's sun started to slowly rise. Most of the ponies of Ponyville would be asleep if not they would be getting ready for work but for Princess Twilight that's a different story. Twilight was getting ready for the meteor shower that night while Spike is still fast asleep. Twilight was going through the check list that Spike had made that night.
Twilight was done with double checking that telescope was fine and Ready for the day. Next Twilight had to look for the book on meteors showers, when Twilight trotted over to the m section of the castle's library when she couldn't fine it Twilight freaked out and started frantically searching for the book throwing them everywhere.
"SPIKE GET DOWN HERE!" Twilight shouts...
"Ugh." Spike groaned as he heard the purple ponies loud voice reverberate into his room, snapping him out of his lovely dream. "Coming Twilight." He replied with a huff. "Another dream..." He muttered under his breath. " Another perfect dream about Rarity being spoiled by Twilight. I bet she can't find a book."
Eighteen years has changed Spike in various ways. Some of those changes being obvious such as his physical appearance like his wingspan and his spikes growing more rounded yet sharper. His knowledge of the world around him as well as other aspects of his being were altered to the point where he was a pretty much a different drake to the one everypony knew all those knew years ago.
Spike walked up to the library, when he reached for the door he could hear books dropping off the shelves. As Spike walked in books are all over the place. "Lost a book?" Spike asks with a smirk, already knowing the answer.
Twilight's head instantaneously popped out from the mountain of books to the right, she gave the masculine drake an exasperated glare. "Yes!" She retorted, causing him to stifle his chuckle. "That meteor book. You know, that book I had to replace." Then suddenly; she gave Spike an accusatory glance. "You haven't burnt the book again have you? " Twilight questioned pointedly.
As Twilight looks around to accuse Spike, she saw Spike holding the book. "Oh! sorry Spike I missed out on having the book with me last time, I didn't want to miss one out this time " She gave him an apologetic glance.
"Don't worry about it Twi, i'm use to it by now. But why in Celestia's name are you up this early?" Spike looked around the entire library, it was a HUGE mess. What could she be doing and how the hell did she manage to keep it so quiet?!
He watched as she fought against the books to free herself from her papery prison, she finally managed but it was a hard fought battle. "Well I thought if get a part of it done now it gets it out of the way..." Twilight smiles.
"Fine" Spike knew he there was no way he could argue back. Even if he had an actual argument that was true and well thought out...
He probably wouldn't live to argue back anyway...
Twilight looked around the room before facing the drake. "We better get this cleared up." She handed Spike a huge pile of books and ordered him to place on the highest shelf, which he grudgingly did. Twilight and Spike continued to converse while they placed the fallen books back on their respective shelve's (there was a LOT of them) and gave the floor a quick one over with the broom. "So, will you be joining us to watch the meteors or are you hanging out with the Cutie Mark Crusaders?" Twilight asks.
"I don't know its too EARLY to know." Spike gives Twilight a glare, to which she just shook off.
"Well why don't you ask them if they want to come?"
"You sure Twilight?" Spike looks at her, slight surprise plastered onto his face.
"Yeah it would be great to see them!" Twilight confirmed with a wide grin.
"Okay, cool! Thanks Twilight." The rest of tidying up the library went in silence, the process went by very quickly since they've been doing this for years.
They knew the routine by now...
After a gruelling fight with a heavy dictionary and gravity, Spike slumped against the wall with a light 'Thud'.
"Thank Celestia that's done" Spike exclaims as his belly rumbles
Twilights laughs as she hears the loud and hungry rumble of Spikes belly "Yeah I'm hungry too, why don't I make breakfast?" She huffed, feeling the long night of little sleep catch up with her. "How about pancakes and coffee?" Twilight suggested.
"That would be awesome Twi, thanks!" Spike thanked, feeling relieved.
Twilight trotted off to the kitchen to begin breakfast while Spike got the table ready. After five minutes breakfast arrived and soon a plate with a stack of pancakes on top and a kettle filled with coffee were all being placed on the table with use of Twilights magic. They both got on with eating breakfast. Whilst tucking in, Spike had Rarity on his mind and had to talk to Twilight about it.
"Uh, Twilight?" Spike spoke up trying to get Twilight's attention as she looks up as Spike continues to talk. "Do you think Rarity will ever get over Rainbow Dash?" Spike asks.
Twilight sighs at this (repeated) question. "You know Rarity loves Rainbow an-" She looked at Spike with a flummoxed expression. "I thought you knew." Twilight stated, her tone suggesting she was slightly shocked at this revelation.
"I knew what?" Spike had a sinking feeling.
"Rainbow and Rarity are a couple. They have been now for a month it took everypony by surprise. You must listen more Spike " Twilight shook her head, resignation ebbing at her mind, how many more times would the drake continue to allow his selective hearing to take charge?. All Spike could do was lower his head at the news. At seeing this, Twilight began to regret telling him.
"Look lets forget about Rarity, she's taken." 'God that was harsh...' "Is there anypony else you like?" Twilight asks.
Spike lifted his head and sat there, thinking about it. Suddenly; one name popped instantly in his head and smiled. "yeah there is one mare I like!"
"Does she know you?" Twilight asks.
"Yeah!" Spike chirped.
"Then ask her out! you never know Spike she could say yes." Twilight smiled, Spike nodded in response. "OH YEAH!!!" Twilight exclaimed making Spike jump, "While I remember I need you to pick up the cakes at three 'o' clock "Ok Spike."
"Ok, sure by the way what time do we have to be at the meteor shower?" Spike questioned.
"Meet us up on the hill where we were last time, around about eight" Twilight informed, Spike nodded in reply.
Just then; a tall black cloaked pony trotted into the hall. She closed the door behind her and took off her cloak. it was Luna. "Good morning." Luna greets.
"Morning!" Spike replied, while Twilight galloped over to Luna and kissed her deeply when they both pulled away from each other Twilight smiled and said "Good morning." In a low tone Luna starts kissing Twilight on the neck.
"Wait! let me send Spike away, it's around about nine so he can go meet the Cutie Mark Crusaders" Twilight tells her quietly, Twilight span around and was just about to go over Spike when Spike stands up
"Hey Twi, I'm gonna see if the Crusaders are about." Spike Tells Twilight, in shocked Twilight just replied.
"Ok see you later then." Spike waves his hand behind him and leaves ,Twilight turns round back to Luna, "Now where were we?"
On the way to the club house I started to think about what Twilight said, 'ask her out you never know.' Now all he just had to do was pluck up the courage and ask Scootaloo out. He had always like her ever since he started hanging around with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. He thought she was cute, cool and he loved the way she always stood up for friends and never let her friends down. He never thought she would say yes but with what Twilight said it made him feel like nothing could stop him.
But then he thought, 'wh-what if she say's no?', but before he could stop and turn around to go had arrived at the old club house.
When he arrived at the club house all he saw Applebloom send a foal away she saw Spike and trotted over to him. "Howdy Spike, how are ya?" Applebloom greets.
Spike took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing" Spike thought to him self. "Hey Applebloom Twilight has invited us all to the meteor shower tonight, wanna come?" Spike asks.
"Well ain't that nice, tell'er we'll be their." Applebloom excitedly replies.
"Cool how's the crusading going?" Spike asked, trying to keep his cool. (Funny, considering he's a dragon) Luckily; Applebloom didn't notice anything wrong.
"It's tough Spike we cant find his special talent but his very energetic and he really wants his cutie mark. We've sent him away for a break so we can get some idea's" Applebloom reminded Spike with a sad look.
Spike just laughs. "Reminds you of somepony." Spike gives her a look, all Applebloom could do is giggle.
"Oh yah, Spike that advice you gave me 3 weeks ago helped a lot! Thank you." Applebloom gives Spike a hug.
"I guess you and Sweetie belle are a couple now." Spike laughed, just then Sweetie belle came over.
Applebloom let go of Spike while Sweetie Belle trotted up next to Applebloom and gave her a nuzzle on the check and turned to Spike.
"Thank you for setting us up Spike" Sweetie Belle smiles.
"Hey, don't mention it." Spike blushed, he looked around for Scootaloo but he couldn't find her. "Um, have you seen Scootaloo?" Spike asks.
Nervously Sweetie belle and Applebloom both looked at each other and smiled. "Well she went looking you as a matter of fact, wouldn't shut about ya." Applebloom answers. Spike jaw dropped at this new information he was digesting, Spike didn't expect that at all, girls just laughed at his expression on his face.
Sweetie belle was the first to talk. "So am I right in saying that is going on between you two?"
Spike came back to reality. "to tell you the truth I don't know" Spike admitted.
"But do you like her." Applebloom asks.
Spike blushed closed his eyes and nodded but quickly burst out saying. "I don't know if she lf likes me back" Spike said sadly.
"ARE YA KIDDING ME!" Applebloom burst out. "I mean you two are always around each other your always laughing at each other and talking. She talks about you a lot when your not here." Spike was just amazed by what Applebloom had told him.
Sweetie Belle suddenly pulled Applebloom into a huddle they started to whisper all Spike could think was, "what ever they have planned it scares me".
"Right its settled ya happy with the plan" Applebloom asks Sweetie Belle just kissed her deeply, soon they both pulled away leaving Applebloom panting.
"I take that as a yes." Sweetie Belle just giggled it made Spike blush. Sweetie Belle trotted over Spike.
"Right Spike I want you to go over to my sisters shop right now and get her to make you a suit ready for tonight. After that just stay at the castle, no leaving but only for tonight, no but's just get going ok?" Sweetie Belle ordered. Spike just agreed, not willing to answer back. "Good when and where is it?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"It's on the big hill, the one with cherry tree so be there about eight 'o' clock." Spike answered.
"Ok; got it we'll be there." Sweetie Belle replied with a wink which made Spike feel uneasy, suddenly; Applebloom spoke out from behind Sweetie Belle.
"Well what ya'll waiting for? get goin!"
Sweetie Belle agreed. "Yeah go on, get going!"
Spike started to walk off. "ok, ok. I'm going see you tonight." Spike left waving.
Sweetie Belle trots over to Applebloom and give's her a light kiss on the lips then looks at the barn then looks at Applebloom, "shell we?" Sweetie Belle ask in a sweet but sexy tone, Sweetie Belle starts trotting towards the barn her backside sways in time with her tail. All Applebloom could do was stare at Sweetie's backside. Sweetie Belle looks back at Applebloom. "Do you wanna just stare at my plot or do you wanna play with it?" Sweetie Belle asks, as soon as Sweetie Belle said that Applebloom got up before galloping towards the barn so did Sweetie Belle...
As Spike walk towards Rarity's shop all he could think was what did they have planed and did Scootaloo actually like him, he couldn't believe it but then he wondered where did she go this morning to look for him. 'It doesn't matter' he thought 'I'll find out sooner or later'. Just then it hit him, he's going to Rarity's Boutique...
'Does Rarity still think that I like her oh don't tell me she's gonna give me an awkward talk about letting her go and that their are other mares that would be good for me'. Spike finally reached Rarity's shop. 'oh well here goes nothing...'
