The Return of Midnight Sparkle

Thunder boomed and Lightning flashed as Midnight Sparkle looked around her surroundings. She heard a voice deep within the darkness that made up the whole of Tartarus.  She called out to the darkness that otherwise made up the whole of Tartarus

"Who is there? Master is it you that is who I am hearing?" Sparkle said.

As she tried to peer into the darkness straining her eyes. To her fear she heard the voice call to her and what she heard caused her to wince away in absolute terror.

"you have failed me! you have failed to kill your other half's wife's killer and now you come back here after this failure?"

"I am sorry master I didn't mean to fail you." sparkle said as she tried to plead with the demonic voice she heard.

Stepping out of the darkness she saw that it was the demon form of Sunset Shimmer who was the one she was talking to. Her master looked down at her then flashed a toothy grin to her as the demon spoke.

"you will not be here much longer to fail me again. I have no use for a demon that is incapable of completing a task that I set forth for that demon to complete."

"No master please I can complete it, I beg you send me to Equestria let me show you I am worthy of your praise please let me show you."

The demon just snapped her fingers then laughed as to hell hounds appeared behind Midnight sparkle. Each growling and snarling at her as she turned just in time to see the mouth of one of them open up and clamp down on her head. Ripping her head off her body then swallowing it whole. The other one just ripped apart what was left of her body as the demon laughed.

another voice could be heard coming from the darkness this one was a males voice and full of hate.

"Let me be the one to pay them back for what they did to me master."

The demon thought about this then smiled and pointed out towards the darkness as a mirror appeared from the inky black that lay before this new demon. Looking back the demon smiled and leapt through the mirror landing in the thrown room of Equestria were he was greeted by Celestia and all five holders of the elements of harmony. Twilight looked at him and shouted.

"YOU"!

The demon just grinned wickedly he had come for battle and he was about to get just that. When he had been alive it was the voice of Twilight and her friends that plagued him the most before he had died. Now he wanted revenge and he was going to get it. Princess Celestia looked on as the main five and Twilight began to battle each other. Each trying to over power the other. The demon that had caused all this to happen and had caused so much pain in the last 900 moons stepped through the mirror. Looking around she turned a toothy grin to Celestia saying to her.

"Hello Celestia I told you I would be back"

It was time for war. Celestia knew this and now she had to defend her people against a threat that was so powerful that not even the elements of harmony might not be able to save them this time. War had come to Equestria and now was the time for battle. Celestia looked on and smiled as she charged into the battle ready for death it self to claim her soul.
