Gravity of the Odd Situation

Chapter 1:

Welcoming Party

Nighttime has fallen upon the world of Equestria. The sky was filled with twinkling stars, the moon was shining with the help of Princess Luna, and almost everypony was either closing up shop or already asleep in their homes, waiting to the sun to rise. So far it seems like a peaceful, quiet night for everypony in Equestria.

*CRASH!!!*

Well, almost everypony.

“MOTHER OF CELESTIA!!!” Yelled Chrysalis as she was woken up by a loud crashing sound in her room. “What on earth is that thing!?” Before she could say anything else she heard some noises coming from the strange object with wheels. (Get your mind out of the gutters folks, it’s not that kind of noise.)

“Nice going, Katie.” said a feminine voice from inside. “I told you to make a left turn past brookelyn drive but no, you just had to make that right past that school so we wouldn’t be late to get home after the game expo we came from.”

“Well sorry Raven, but you and I both know how my mother is when it come to me getting back home before bedtime.” Katie said as she rolled down the window to see where she and her friends were. “Hey, buddy, you wouldn’t happen to know-.” Katie was unable to finish her sentence as she saw a naked humanoid like bug pony with green hair standing in shock at what she’s seeing. Katie’s face turned bright red as rolled her window back up.This, in turn, caused Chrysalis to grab the cover off her bed, and run off screaming down the hall yelling like a mad pony.

“So where are we?” Raven asked.

“I just saw a half naked mutant bug pony…...something tells me we’re not in the U.S.A anymore.”

“Okay…...what have you been smoking recently?”

“Raven, I know what I saw, and it was what I just said.”

“Right, and I’m the queen of London.” Raven said as she exited the car. “Well, from I could tell, we’re in a building of some kind. Specifically a bedroom, but how the hell did we get here?” These questions were not able to be answered as the door to the bedroom opened up and the pony that Katie saw returned with more of her kind wearing black armor and had spears in their hands.

“Guards! There’s some kinds of monsters that just landed in my bedroom! Take them to the dungeon to have them interrogated for questioning ” Chrysalis yelled as her guards ready their spears.

“......Holy crap, you we’re telling the truth, Kaite.”

“I told you so, now get back in the car!” Katie yelled as the woman hopped back in just before a spear almost hit her in the face. “Now what do we do?”

“What on earth is going on?” Kelly asked as she finally woke up.

“Would you believe that we’re being attacked by a bunch of mutant bug like ponies?” Katie asked.

“.....What did i miss when I was asleep?” Kelly asked only for a spear to appear a few inches away from her face. “What the hell?!”

“I’ll explain what’s going on later, right now hold on!” Katie said as she started the car back up, and push the pedal to drive towards the guards and Chrysalis. The changelings moved out of the way as the car zoomed past, swerving into the main hall before a loud crash sounded through the palace. “Sweet Faust! Not the crystal statue of our Queen!”

“Did I hit anyone?” Katie asked.

“No, but a lot of them that we barely hit are giving us the finger.” Kelly said as she looked behind herself. “Yep, they’re pissed.”

“I’m sure they’ll get over it….I hope.” She said as she made a hard left. “Where the hell are we anyway?”

“You’re guess is as good as mine. But judging by what we’re passing, I’m gonna take a guess that we’re inside a castle.”

“Wait, did we travel back in time or something?”

“I doubt it seeing how this place is filled with humanoid like bug ponies. We could be in another dimension.”

“What gave it away?” Katie said sarcastically. “Was it the fact that we’re running away from a ugly looking bug pony that you would see in a doctor who story?”

“Well that….and you’re about to hit one right about now.”

“What’s that suppose to-.” Katie’s question was cut short as something landed on the hood of the car. All three humans popped their heads out the window to see a female changeling clinging on the roof of the car. “Well…...that’s something you don’t see everyday.”

“Think we can keep it?”

“No!” Raven yelled as Katie stopped the car causing the Changeling to go flying into an empty room. “Oh crap. I hope that pony lady isn’t dead?”

“We’ll worry about her later.” Katie said as she shifted the car into second gear and pulled off down the hallway. “Right now, we need to get out of this place.”

“Do you even know where we’re going?” Kelly asked.

“Better than staying here and getting sent to jail. After what happen to the bug pony that was sent flying, I doubt they’ll think of us as normal bystanders, nor will they think of us as innocent aliens from another world.”

“Understatement of the fucking millennium Katie. Also you might want to hit the brakes.”

“What are you talking abou-” Katie looked up to see a platoon of knights wearing crimson black armor blocking there path. “Dammit.” She said as she hit the brakes, causing the car to come to a screeching halt. She then tried to pull back, but it too was blocked by the same knights that were chasing them. “Seriously!?”

“There’s nowhere for you monsters to run.” Chrysalis said. “Surrender now and accept your death with some dignity.”

“Great, now what do we do?” Raven asked.

“..........Hold on to something ladies.” Katie pushed her foot onto the gas pedal, causing the car to move forward. “What I’m about to do is something I really hate to do…..do not tell my mother….or father…..or my parole officer.”

“Oh, this so not gonna end well for all of us, huh?” Kelly asked, who was holding onto her seat in fear of what’s about to happen.

“My queen, they’re charging at us.” said a changeling knight.

“Hold the line fools! You are my guards of the changeling empire! Don’t let that metal turtle with wheels scare you like a bunch of-.” Before Chrysalis could finish her statement. The car that the cosplayers were in, rammed straight into her. Causing her to get run over and badly damage.

“I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!” Raven yelled.

“SORRY BUT IT WAS THE ONLY OPTION I HAD! WOULD YOU RATHER WE ENDED UP IN JAIL!?” Katie yelled back.

“Um guys, you might want to pay attention to the road.” Kelly suggested.

“And why is that?”

“Because we’re about to hit that huge ass door right in front of us.”

(Outside)

“Hey did you hear something?” Ask one of the changelings guarding the outside door.

“Hear what?”  Just as he said that. The car burst through the door that the two changelings were guarding. Along with them were a platoon of changelings chasing after the strange metal monster that was fleeing. “I think that was the sound you we’re hearing.”

“Should we do something about it?”

“.....Let’s just pretend we didn’t see anything and leave it to the ones that are following that strange monster.”

(Inside the car)

“Hard left, HARD LEFT!!” yelled Kelly as the blonde woman made a left turn.

“I know how to drive Kelly, I have played a few driving simulator online after all.” Katie said as she made another hard left turn past a statue of a CHangeling with a horn & wings, and was wearing a crown.

“And how many of those have you actually passed?”

“........Up yours bitch, no one likes a backseat driver.”

“And you’re wondering why we don’t drive with you that much.”

“Oh I like to see you drive better then me?”

“Then pull over and let me drive then.”

“No way!”

“Why not?”

“If you haven’t noticed by now; we’re being chased by a bunch of flying bug ponies with spears in hand. Remember?”

“.....Oh….right….hard right then seeing how you’re driving at the moment.”

“You’re an idiot you know that right?”

“This coming from the girl who though she could fly just like superman.”

“Um not to change the subject or anything, but we’re running out of road.”  Raven said as Katie looked up to see a closed off sign causing her to hit the breaks on the car.

“Crap! Not good!”

“Now what do we do?”

“We could always fight our way through this place until we make it out?”

“And how are we gonna do that? If you haven’t notice, but we’re not what you call combat ready for something like this.”

“True, but I have a theory that I need to test out for a second.” Katie said as she unbuckled her seat belt, open the door to the car, and walked outside.

“Wait, where is she going?”

“If I know Katie, she’s pretty much gonna do something reckless. Come on let’s go help her seeing how we’re gonna get killed.” said Kelly as she and Raven walked outside.

“Weird creatures! Surrender and return with us to the dungeon or else!”

“Or else what jerkface!” Katie yelled sticking her tongue out.

“Or else we will take you down by force if we have to.”

“Well that’s gonna be hard for you all to do when your all on the ground now would it?” Katie closed her eye as her body started to glow red. At first nothing appeared to have happen as the guards begin to charge at the blonde female thinking nothing would happen. That is until she open her eyes and caused everyone within her sight fall to the ground.

“How the hell did you do that?” Raven asked.

“I honestly don’t know. I was just hoping that I had the same powers as Kat from Gravity Rush 2, but it appears that I do have them.”

“So that means we must have the same powers as the characters we are dressed up as in the game right?” asked Kelly.

“Seem like it seeing how I just forced and entire platoon of mutant bug ponies to fall to the ground.”

“Really now?” Kelly said as raised her metal arm and fired some kind of sticky substance onto the changelings that were still on the ground. “I could get used to this.”

“Okay so we have the same powers and abilities from the characters in them game. What do we do now?” Raven asked.

“Hm……Ever wonder what it feels like to be in a flying car?”

(Chrysalis’s Castle)

“My queen you are badly injured. Shouldn’t you be in infirmary to get your wounds patch up?”

“Those creatures are running amuck around my kingdom. I don’t have time to stay in a hospital bed while they do faust knows what.”

“Then let us get them for you. If you keep pushing yourself like that, then you’ll just make you injuries even worse.”

“Like I give a flying feather! The moment I get my hands on them, I’m going to enjoy killing them dlow-.”Chrysalis was unable to finish her threat as she was sent flying into a wall caused by an explosion from behind her and the changeling in the hallway.

“So not only are you a bad driver, but you’re also a bad flyer as well.” Kelly said.

“Oh I’m sorry, do you want to drive Kelly? Oh wait you can’t seeing how you don’t know how to drive!” Katie said as she smacked her robotic friend upside her head.

“Excuse me creatures.” said a male changeling wearing midnight purple armor getting the attention of Katie and her friends. “Care to explain why you attack and almost killed our queen a few moments ago?”

“To be fair she tried to kill us with a bunch of knight with spears in hand.” Kelly said.

“And attacking our queen was a smart idea?”

“Well she should’ve thought about that before she attacked us. We did it out of self defense.”

“Be that as it may you are under arrest for assault on royalty.” He said ordering the changeling to form around the humans. “Will you come with us peacefully?”

“Okay we could do that…..or.” Katie’s body turned red as she used the powers of gravity to force against the wall or floor. “I could do that and just drive away with my friends.” She said as she levitated the car out of the wall and into the air. “Oh and I would advise you not to follow or send anyone after us. Cause we’re not afraid to hurt anyone that follows us.” With that being said the three displaced humans flew off into the night sky. Leaving the changeling dumb founded as to what just happen to them.
