Chapter 3: Home Bitter Home

I took off my cloak, finally able to rest. I go to the bathroom to check to see how I look. I look into the mirror to see a grey pony with a dark green mane. His eyes were also grey. I sometimes forget who I look at in the mirror. I changed into some khakis, along with a button up blue shirt. I laid down on the couch and got out the remote. I turned it to the news to see a report about the mission today.

"Yes, we are here when a Lunar Assassin and a Celestial Guard had supposedly teamed up and taken an illegal weapons seller in what Celestia described, 'in minutes' what took her guards weeks. Is this a sign that the grudge between the LA and the CG are over? We've asked eye witnesses to give their opinion..."

"Um, I think that this isn't an alliance, because really from all the evidence we've had of them being rivals, it's just too much and too good to be true."

"No, they're not gonna be all buddy buddies for long if they are now that's for sure, haha!"

I sighed and turned it to something else. I then saw a meditation channel. I smiled and turned it to that. I looked around the room to find a yoga mat. I laid it down and sat on it. I breathed in and out slowly. Then the freaking phone starts ringing. I ignored it. After a couple of minutes it rang out again. I reached over and answered with speaker on

"Who is this?" I ask with my eyes closed as I conetrated on the music.

"Hey Quickblade!" Spada's voice said. I groaned. "So, I've been thinking," she said.

"Must've hurt," I replied calmly. I get dead silence before she continues.

"I thought maybe we could establish a few ground rules since we both basically have the same bui-" I hung up. I meditated calmly for a good ten minutes until I heard a knock on the door. The door that leads to Spada's house. I groaned.

"Nobody's home!" I said. All I wanted to do was meditate today. Is that too much to ask?

"Stupid I know you're there. Open the door," she demanded. I grumbled and got up. I walked over and opened the door. I walked back inside and go to the kitchen that's beside the living room. The only thing separating the two is a counter. I love this kitchen. I start pouring some milk into a cup and start drinking. "Wow, you have a really peaceful room," Spada said.

"While having a disturbing neighbor," I mumbled under my breathe. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Now what do you want? I just want to meditate today," I said rather rudely. Spada facepalms.

"Ground rules! Rules basically!" She exclaimed.

"What're rules?" I asked getting out a soda. She looks at me with wide eyes. I couldn't help but smirk. I sighed in content when I sat down with my drink. "Anyway, I'm all ears so go ahead and tell me," I said. A book the size of Manehatten dropped into my lap, more specifically, at a spot you do not want to hit. I groaned in pain as the book basically destroyed the lower half of my body.

"Since you won't listen, you are going to read!" She said, crossing her arms. I sighed. I put it on the coffee table, which breaks under the weight.

"How many rules are there!?" I yell.

"Ten," she answered. I looked at her with dumbfounded looks, then stare at the book itself.

"Why are there so many pages!?" I yelled. She giggled.

"It's Twilight Sparkle Extra Detailed Edition," she answered. I look at the cover to see initials TSEDE. I picked up the book, and placed it beside me. I pat it on the back.

"I am not gonna read it," I said.

"Too bad," Spada said.

Meanwhile, about ten hours later...

I awoke with a startle. Luna appeared in my room.

"Sister? What's wrong?" Luna asks. I look at her with fear in my eyes.

"Canterlot will fall," I said slowly. My visions have never failed before, why start now?

"Sis, what happened," she demanded. I look away.

"I saw a burning castle, screaming, and hundreds of Lunar Assassin's and Celestial Guards were captured. Then, we were separated, me with my guards and you with were Assassins," I foretold. Luna was shaking. I put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Luna said. I nodded. I tried to return back to sleep, but something kept bugging me. I sighed. I got out a piece of parchment and named everyone I think I saw. I froze when I finished. Spada and Quickblade were nowhere to be found.
