It's time for the annual sock hop in late 1950s Canterlot City. A perfect opportunity to cause some mischief, according to Adagio Dazzle. Sonata, however, wants to have a little fun and attend the dance. After her sisters reject the idea, Sonata comes up with a plan to get to that sock hop, and it turns out that she's gonna get a lot more than she expected.
