So, there's a pretty long explanation as to why this story is so long, and it all starts off, funnily enough, at one of Soundspeed's livestreams (Which can be found here).
During said livestream, I had casually dropped the question about his favorite fanfiction written about him. He said he really didn't have an answer, and that most, if not all fanfictions that starred the grey pegasus were jokes, with little to no structure, pacing, or story.
And I wanted to change that.
Mostly because Soundspeed has made a very big and very good impact on my life. And, though sadly enough, this story has actually gotten me into writing once more, even though I had given up on attempting to write about a year ago.
