Love with a Bit of Sparkles

Hello everyone! This initial chapter is meant to explain the world that I am going to weave in this story so I don't have to do any explaining on the fly, which usually draws from the immersion a bit. If you don't care for stuff such as this, then proceed to the start of the actual story.

First off, if you read the tags, then you would know that this is a human story, as in all of the characters are of the family Hominidae, genus Homo, species Sapiens. There are then three subspecies: the Angels, the Elves, and the Earth Humans, Angels being winged Humans with the ability to manipulate the weather, Elves being pointy eared humans with the ability to manipulate the world via magic, and Earth Humans (I was sooo tempted to reinvent the definition of the word dwarf in this world, but I decided against it) being people with a naturally large muscle mass (apple bucking still works) and a sort of primal connection with the Earth. Celestia is simply a goddess, lacking an exact name, and someone like Cadence being a demi-god.

The world, as addressed in description is put in the future. Massive skyscrapers putting the one in Dubai to shame, Non-magic assisted hover technology, basic colonization of the Moon (Luna being Nightmare Moon at the present is kept in a high security Moon prison held in place by enchantments placed by Celestia via the Elements of Harmony-spoiler-she gets out), and all that good stuff. Places like Everfree are still like they are in the show, as they have some sort of magical barrier that breaks down complex technology. Cars are also existent. Place names will maintain their names such as Canterlot and Ponyville for the sake of convenience and me being too lazy to come up with new names.
