Applejack shambled through the snow with a heavy heart and cold hooves. Applebloom and Granny Smith followed behind, feeling the same as Applejack. They were going up to the hill that overlooked Sweet Apple Acers. They walked up the hill for minutes, although it felt like hours. Then, they finally came to the top of it. Applejack's eyes watered as she looked at Big Macintosh's grave. She held back tears. Ah cry on the inside... She thought. Applebloom was the first to break the silence. She waddled over the Applejack, tears dripping down her face, and asked; "Why-why did he have to go Applejack? It-it...it's not fair!" She sobbed. Applejack pulled her into a hug. "It's okay..." She whispered reassuringly. (She was also trying to reassure herself.) Granny Smith looked on, eyes fixated on something that they could not see. Memories, perhaps. Granny Smith shed no tears, but you could tell in her eyes that she wanted to. Applejack released her sister, and turned to Granny Smith. "I...Granny, are you okay?" She asked, wiping a tear that rolled down her cheek. Granny Smith said nothing, staring into space for awhile. The only noise was the light wind and Applebloom's quiet sobbing. Granny then turned to Applejack, staring her in the eyes. "Your father...can finally see his son again." She whispered softly, with a sad smile. "Ye...yeah..." Applejack sighed, once again wiping her tears. "Ah'm glad about that..." Applebloom broke in again. "Ah'm not! Why'd my big brother have to die?! Why do you not care that I miss him?!" She glared at both Applejack and Granny Smith. "I'll take care of her." Granny Smith whispered to Applejack, and lead the furious and dejected Applebloom down the hill. Slowly, the noise subsided, and was reduced to the soft wind. Applejack sat there, in the snow, in front of Big Mac's Grave. She started crying. "...Big Mac..." She continued crying for about five minutes. After she had finished mourning, Applejack stood up, and walked down the hill in silence.
