Nurse Redheart grinned at her page of successful visits for the day. She had even released several patients today.

After taking five shifts in a row, however, she was getting slightly tired. She left work with a smile on her face in the streetlights.

Nurse Redheart would have been slammed against the alley wall, but she gripped her attacker and lit her horn, dodging the knife blade. She had him in a pin and pressed up against the building a few seconds later.

"What are you doing?"

"I... I just-"

She snorted. "Save it."

She took the unfortunate stallion to the police station.
